How do you respond to people posting on your Facebook wall to wish you Happy Birthday? Is it necessary to like or comment on every post, or give a collective message or doing nothing is fine?

I click "like" on all the happy birthday posts that I get, although some may get liked the day after. This is what the birthday post means to me:"Happy Birthday!" = "Hey! I was browsing Facebook and I saw it was your birthday. I took this time to remember you and reflect on how we know each other."Liking this post = "Thanks for the birthday greeting! I too took a moment to remember you and I thank you for remembering me."I never post the "Thanks to everyone who wished me for my birthday! I feel so loved and blessed!"Those are just the worst. To me, that sounds narcissistic and serves to alienate or guilt trip the people who forgot or didn't post in time because of time zones.
