The chest is tough to get through with a knife unless you're really strong. I'd go with a large knife right to the upper abdomen, just below the sternum so the knife could pierce the heart or the abdominal aorta or the vena cava. That way the victim will bleed out very quickly and lose the strength it takes to fight or run. Venous blood is dark and "oozes", arterial blood is bright red and spurts. Cutting either the vena cava or the abdominal aorta will result in tremendous blood loss, but a lot of it may stay in the abdominal cavity. Blood is also very slippery and when air hits it, blood begins to congeal. A large amount of blood exiting the body will glob up and look like a blob of pudding. Blood smells like liver. Lots of blood can have an overwhelming smell and sometimes makes people nauseous. Blood loss causes the skin to turn pale. After a while the blood remaining in the veins and arteries will settle in the bottom of the body and cause 'lividity', which is a mottling of the skin. Rigor mortis takes anywhere from about eight to twenty-four hours to set in noticeably, and usually starts in the jaw. How do I know these things? No I do not think you should keep your son, would you want someone to do that to your child if the situation was reversed. That child is 6 years old and has been abused, neglected and now in foster care. You don’t think he deserves to visit a friend that he can feel safe with? I do think you should explain the situation to your child, he probably has questions and this is a huge learning lesson, I also think you should supervise the visits and the fact he opens up to you about his abuse is huge, it may be uncomfortable but the fact he can open up is helping him. This may be a time that you can explain things to him and depending how the situation is you can tell him that the things that happened to him are bad and scary and shouldn’t have happened and a child should not know about these things that’s why you would like him to not talk about these things to your son unless you are there or better yet to only talk to you about them and not in front of your son. He needs people to love him right now, try not to think about the bad influence he can be on your son but think about what a good influence your family can be to him. Teach him the rules of your house, give him a chance. You could make a huge difference in his life.
