Help Me Differ Exo I Am A New Fan

What is the difference between these amps?

So the options are the Fender Blues jr, Super-Sonic 22, Deluxe reverb and Two Rock EXO 15. I really don't need too much wattage and I also plan on getting a good tube screamer pedal. I just really can't tell if the differences I am hearing are due to the playing I am hearing because I have to order them online so I am just watching videos of each. I really love John Mayers tone BTW. I feel like the Two Rock is the closest but I really can't tell.

What’s the difference between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd generations of K-Pop?

Lets put it in very simple terms:1st Generation:Notable Members: SHINHWA, SEO TAIJI & BOYS, H.O.T, g.o.d, S.E.SAccomplishments: Godparents of KPOP, basically the founders and starters of the genre2nd Generation:Notable Members: BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Rain, Brown Eyed Girls, Wonder Girls, 2PM, KARA, BIGBANG, 2AM, SNSD, BEASTAccomplishments: Broke international barriers, founders of Hallyu Wave, and started elongating group names3rd Generation:Notable Members: SHINee, B.A.P., Block B, SISTAR, After School, Miss A, B1A4, MBLAQ, Boyfriend, 2NE1Accomplishments: Popularized group names starting with B, focal point of the ever expanding international playing field (especially on youtube, how EXID got famous)4th Generation:Notable Members: WINNER, BTS, EXO, RV, GOt7, BOTB, EXID, AOAAccomplishments: Major expansion and garnering popularity like never seen before, both domestically and internationally.Notes: This generation was short imo.5th Generation (current):Notable players: BTS, EXO, Seventeen, IKON, G-Friend, CLC, G-Idle, BlackPink, Twice, Stray Kids, NCT, MOMOLANDNotes: Can’t say much about their accomplishments as of yet, but BTS and Exo are beyond prevalent right now, and alongside TWICE, these groups are leading the international domination of KPOP, and having it become a mainstream genre. All eyes are on them. Also, can people stop bullying me about not including Wanna One and IOI as important members? They’re meant to disband asap. Basically, any group that debuts now, if they make any local impact whatsoever (fighting IMPACT) they’ll join in on the wave, just like MOMOLAND and NCT are now.May have left some things out. Basically, I found the 4th Generation kind of a transition period, but more an important one for KHIPHOP, which started to garner a lot more attention. This is also why 5th Generation KPOP groups have stronger rap lines. Kinda gotta give props to ZICO for breaking that barrier powerfully with his FANCY CHILD crew, though.

When it comes to fan wars between EXO-L and ARMY, do some of those fans know that EXO and BTS are actually pretty chill with each other and that some members are actually friends?

They know it. But saddly EXO and BTS don’t rise against that. They can’t do it, it’s too late, both of the fandoms are too big. The few interractions they used to have aren’t enough, and have never been. It’s the case of a lot of groups and it used to be the same even with groups from 2000.Groups from the same company are often considered as brother/sisters groups and show it, but only few groups that aren’t from the same company are showing their friendship since the beginning and are really supporting each other, and it creates some of the strongest friendship, not only with groups, but also with fandoms. It’s an extension : if groups are showing their friendship, fandoms are going to be friends.Ex : Seventeen and Monsta X made their debuts with only two weeks of differences. They were basically facing the same trouble at their debut, and rookies are often working together for special stages, working at the same place, etc… So even with totally opposite concept, they became friends, and both fandoms are today known to be some of the most closest fandoms in the kpop industry. But BTS are… alone. On their side, EXO and EXO-Ls have VIXX and Starlights, some fans who are annoyed by ARMYs behavior and some fans who are jealous of BTS success. So from one side you have a fandom and a group that are alone; ARMYs are overprotecting BTS, the oldest ARMYs side because of what happened at their debuts, the youngest ARMYs side because they think they need to fight everyone which is in the way of BTS popularity, and could grow more than themAnd on the other side you have a fandom and a group that are respected and supported by a lot of fandoms, that are really disrespected by ARMYs because they are in the way and because they are very proud and sometimes imbued ’cause they know they are on topThere were 0% percent chance that these fandoms never clashed. Before EXO-L and ARMY it was EXO-L and BABY. It’s not that EXO-L are looking for fight ; it’s just that groups on top of the popularity are seen as rivals for the other fandoms.

What is the difference between the NCT groups under SM Entertainment and other Kpop groups ?

NCT represents the ideal boy group SM wants to produce gathering the learning points from the failures of TVXQ, EXO and Super Junior. Yes, I am saying that these 3 groups failed, as they all strayed away from what they originally meant to be.TVXQ had astronomical success since debut, and reached a peak in 2008 with Mirotic. However, as the 5 “Gods” eventually could not stay together and a legal battle ensued that destroyed that fantasy.EXO had the perfect stage performances and concept since debut. In 2013, Growl gave them the commercial success that they needed, to introduce to the world of the 12 aliens from the EXO Planet trying their best to fight against the red force. 3 members eventually screwed the group concept over by suing the company that gave them success.Super Junior actually debuted as Super Junior 05. They were meant to be a group that never ages, meaning, fresh batch of members will join the group and older members will leave. That didn't work out because of saesang fans (the original Suju got real popular and after Kyuhyun, fans could no longer accept new members and finalised the number 13 as the number of Super Junior members). The fans threatened to boycott SM and buy out the company should they go against their wishes. Eventually, SM could not continue the concept of a boy group that never ages with Super Junior. In 2016, SM introduced the boy group NCT, and debuted 3 subunits with 3 very different concepts. SM gathered learning points from TVXQ, EXO and Suju’s failures and so far, NCT seems to be advancing according to planned. Eventually, SM will continue to add members and create more subunits under the brand name NCT, and older members who graduate from subunits will still have the chance to get drafted in other subunits, creating hope for fans.I have strong faith in the infinity group NCT.

What is the difference between "Lead Vocalist" and "Main Vocalist" in KPOP?

No, being the Main Vocalist Doesen't mean at all that you get the most lines. Look at Taeyeon of snsd in Mr.Taxi she only got about 1 line and the other girls got about 3 and she's the main vocalist. Main Vocalist basically means that you have the best singing skills, and that you are in the background alot for example like in the chorus when you here the belted notes, or high notes in the background of the chorus that is usually the work of a main vocalist. Companies decide on the Main Vocalist during training. They See not only who has the best vocal range, or power but more control, they decide on the lead vocalist by seeing who can back up the main vocalist the best what I mean by that is the lead vocalist needs to be able to still hit notes and can back up that main vocalist in a preformance. So let's say the main vocalist gets sick the lead vocalist needs to backup for the main vocalist since the lead vocalist is usually the best after the main vocals. The Main Dancer is actually quite different from the lead dancer it's easier to tell the difference unlike the lead and main vocalist where there is barely a difference. The Main Dancer has the solos and skills, the main dancer must be able to free style, and at least do one type of dance like Hyoyeon of snsd she can do free style, and she can pop. Lead Dancer is like the back up dancer of the main dancer like when the main dancer has solos usually the lead dancer appears behind the main dancer like a backup dancer like Yuri, she is not necessarily "worst" than Hyo but not as skilled so she is the lead dancer. Usually when the main is missing they either skip that part, or do the "solo" has a whole gorup.

How to recognize all members of Exo?

I know exactly how you feel! I went through a similar thing when I was trying to learn all the members of Super Junior. The best way to learn new groups is through variety shows because you get to know them better. I will put links below to their profile and variety shows.
