Help Me I Want To Practice English Writing Badly

Why am I bad at writing English essays?

Essay writing is a skill you need to learn. Most people with “talent” are often those who've read a lot. Reading matters because it helps you recognize good grammar, varied sentence structure, timing, style, etc.Another way people fail at essay writing is because they panic and just start writing and after you've written it doesn't make sense because of lack of organization.When given an essay question, read the question. Take a deep breath and force yourself to relax by saying I know something about this. Check the clock. Allow yourself 15 minutes of an hour essay to write a brief list of facts and create an outline around them. Essays are often graded on facts and organization with style last.With your essay snapshot, start writing an introduction listing the general points to be made in one paragraph.Then for each point, write what you know and think about each one, conclude with a paragraph about why it's important, better, or something else thematic.Look online for practice essay sites; like every other skill, practice makes perfect.

My English isn't bad, but sometimes I find myself trying to find the right word to express some ideas in English. Does this mean I am not fluent in English? What can I do to overcome it?

Assuming its not a medical condition, I feel you might be facing one of these 3 problems-Not having enough practice of actually holding a face-to-face conversation in English with someone.You are not very comfortable with the people you are speaking to.You might be overthinking and over planning what you’re going to say.The 3 problems I have listed above may also be inter-connected.Now, Solution Time!Practise speaking. Join a course where you get to converse with real people who are fairly proficient in the language. Have your real-life conversations analysed. Note where your pronunciation and confidence is wavering. And don’t just stop there. Correct them! Google the correct pronunciation and speak it aloud for the world as well as your own ears to hear. Create atleast 3 situations in a day where you can speak that particular word aloud. (I don’t really intend to create a sales pitch here, but I work at WordsMaya - Learn English on Chat and we have speaking-practice sessions in our courses. You could check it out, it might be helpful for you.)You probably feel daunted by your conversation partner. Or just not at ease. It might be a little bit of anxiety too. All you’ve got to do in this case is remind yourself- Language is a means to connect. It is okay to stumble. It is okay to pronounce incorrectly. Sometimes, you just need to get your thoughts across and not be a pedant about language. There is this popular Hindi dialogue which resonates the concept- “Bhavnao ko samjho, shabdo pe kya ja rahe ho?” (Connect with the emotions expressed, the words are not always important)You are probably trying to strategise your words or trying to express too many thoughts at once. Happens to the best of us. Try to have a clear line of thought when you are speaking and train your mind to filter out the unnecessary information. This training will take time but reaps amazing efforts. Trust me on this.

English prompt??????????????

Anything where you can show someone or something with good intent that has turned out badly would be good, but you might want to try something more significant. My suggestions: the optimism of the theory of communism vs. the way it was put into practice in Eastern Europe/Russia, McCarthy playing on fears of communism and thus going after innocent people, the US government putting Japanese in internment camps, the role of terrorism in society.

How does texting affect our Writing language?

I have a presentation about this tomorrow, and I need Three Points. I have two ponts so far and they are;
1) you're busy with other stuff, and can send text messages on the side of other activities, because it's fast and flexible, but lead you to write long texts more poorly and harder
2)Texting is on a friendly level, and therefore you don't care if it's sloppy. It leads to slang Words and incorrect grammar. It leads to difficulties for example at school. You can only use a short amount of text, because SMS is set up like that.

I need a third point. What can I say more?

Does reading help make you become a better writer?

Exposing yourself to good literature will make you more open minded, knowledgeable, and creative which all attribute to being a good writer. The more you read, the more different types of prose you are exposed to and relate it to your own skills to see where you are strongest and what needs works. It is not all about books however. As you enter high school and higher level education, you'll be asked to write in a variety whether it's a story or a research essay. Therefore, read examples of good essays to see how the writer cleverly placed the information in an organized yet intriguing manner (do NOT plagiarize though!). As for good books, try reading different things until you notice the types you like. After you develop a like for reading, try to expand your horizons and try reading different genres and perhaps a classic or two in the future. I hope I helped!

I have learned English for a while. My English is still bad. I fear to speak face to face with someone. What can I do to improve my conversational English?

You can make online friends on PenPalWorld. You can meet people from anywhere in the world by seeing the members who recently logged in, as well as search people by country. The website limits communication amongst parties, you can send 3 messages per day and are given 10 comment credits to comment on someone’s profile, which is why people simply put their kiks, skype, facebook and sometimes whatsapp right on their profile bio. I have been found by people from many areas in the world, as well as found people myself. I have talked to zillions of people (most members are very active), some of them were a one time conversation, but at least a very good percentage (at least 70%) of people I met there were able to keep in touch.If you make many mistakes, most native speakers will not correct you even if you ask because it is exhausting, time consuming and causes us to feel we are trying to be a know-it-all kind of person or judging you. If you make occasional mistakes, then most of us will gladly correct you (if previously requested). People are too afraid to be called racist for correcting someone’s English, if he or she speaks it as a second language… Anyway, you can interact with people that way by texting, voice messaging, making a phone call and make really nice e-friends on PenPalWorld. I love the website, it’s basic and 99% of the people on it are very kind and genuine, as well as talkative. Or at least 99% of the people who I have talked to.Give PPW a try, texting and speaking with native speakers of English will help you unimaginably in terms of vocabulary, better sentence structure (because you’ll be observing how we write and eventually learn to write and speak closer us), but talking to fluent English as a Second Language Speakers will also help you practice your speech, and he/she could possibly know a word you’re unfamiliar with that could come in very handy at some point.I’m sorry to hear you were having difficulties practicing English. I would be glad to interact and help in any way I can.Good luck!
