Help Me Im R Student Of English And I Need Help Help Me Natives

What is India's native language? Is it English?

English is a language that many people speak in India and it is taught in school but it most certainly is not the "native" language: India used to be a British colony up until 1947 so yeah... But not everyone in India speaks English, some people still don't. English is in the top two national languages and most well educated people speak it.

India's other national language is Hindi but in the southern part of India, some people don't even speak that! That is because every state in India has their own language. But for the most part, Hindi is a language that can be understood in many parts of India. My parents who are from the state of Gujarat use Hindi with Indians who can not speak Gujarati because Hindi is a language that carries over throughout most of the states. Most Indians are multilingual because they often understand their state language, Hindi, and (sometimes) English.

Most Indians learn English at school, the same way Americans students take a foreign language. There are even some schools called English-primary schools. In these schools, the only language used is English and students are not allowed to use the state language or Hindi.

Sanskrit is an ancient language and is not normally used in day-to-day conversations. Some people study Sanskrit; it is the liturgical language of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism. Think of its usage in India similiar to the usage of Latin. Many state languages in India may be derived from Sanskrit.

Is it bad to have accent in english speaking?

Hey... I have an Iranian friend (born in the US), but his parents have a Persian accent. I think they have a cool accent. I love hearing people's accent... but the accent that makes me laugh the most is the Vietnamese and the Hong Kong accent (my dad was born in Vietnam and my mom was born in Hong Kong) like the really strong Hong Kong and Vietnamese accents are funny but I'm not going to laugh at them, not even after I talk to them Im talking about in general...

Anyways, don't be embarrassed of your accent.... be proud of it... Accents are super sexy. Both guys and girls believe that

My English is very poor. What can I do?

Dear Friend, This answer is going to be a bit analytical and uplifting. So, let's start with something very surprising.“ Everybody knows English. A lot of English... No Matter what!”So, what's different is of course… our size of vocabulary, capacity to hold conversations, ability to use it for a variety of applicable areas… and so on.Still Surprised? Don't be, yet!NOWLet's examine a normal day in our life and how penetrated English is in all of it:Get… Set… Go!AlarmPhoneTimeSnooze(Tooth)BrushToothpasteShampooTrimmer(Hair) BrushHair DryerMake-upTiffinBusCabDriverTicket“Change”StopSignalTrafficElevator/LiftFloorSchoolOfficeClassDesk/CabinTeacherBossMeetingNotesSyllabusWorkflowTaskAssignmentScheduleTimetableClientLoginLogoutAttendanceParkingLateComputerPenPaper“Leave”LunchCanteenCoffeePlate…. Enough is enough!English follows you…even haunts… no matter where you go!So, What's your point, Ahmed?Well, it's very simple and this:You… I… All of us… already know A Lot of English. An awful lot, I might add.Ok, ok… Agreed! What's next?Next is even simpler.Try to focus on two important things:Integrate more and more English into your life and lifestyleSlowly but steadily, shift the focus from our native language to English. Because, as a matter of fact, 60–70% of our daily thinking AND conversation is pure English! Now. . .A Digital Solution to DigiFans:YouTube is now full of short-films, Web series, and even many Episode ‘thing’.No matter what the parent language of such videos, every 3rd sentence, on average ,is in natural English. And, by the way, who wouldn't want to like our Mithila Palkar from Girl in the City?Anyway, a few such Youtube Names:Shitty Ideas Trending (SIT)Girl in The CityMensutra, the “Bang On” Channel!Sandeep Maheshwari.. sessions… and many more. . .subject to search! My Point:English is already integrated into our system of life and society in a great way. All we have to do now is … conciously and deliberately look for areas to expand it so that we become more and more comfortable with all of it.That way, the Weak-English become Strong-English…and Stronger become the Excellent-English… as simple as that!I earnestly request my readers to try this Methodology for a while and the result will definitely take care of itself.-Ahmed, The Curious Being.

Why is my English so poor?

Your English is actually excellent. I would have mistaken you for a native speaker. I'm sure speaking and listening is more difficult; it always seems to be. Just take every opportunity you can to speak English in conversation; have no shame in it.

As far as mistakes in your question, here is my edit of how I would write your question:

"I have been studying English for 4 years, but my English is still poor. I want to move to England in a year to go to high school, but if my English doesn't improve, I won't go. I cannot write or speak English properly. I hardly understand English speakers. I wonder what to do, but I don't know any ways to improve my speaking. I work hard constantly, but my work is useless. I know, you can barely understand my English, but what should I do to improve it? I need improving, because I want you to understand me clearly.

Also, tell me about mistakes I've made in my question."
