How important is your cell phone to you?
i feel like I HAVE TO HAVE a cell phone. But, I hate the particular phone I have (also hate the carrier). But once my contract is up, I'm going to another carrier and buying a good phone (no more free phones...they suck).

After further research and talking to a couple doctor friends of mine...a cast and/or surgery is only required for the most severe of sesamoid injuries. Football players get turf toe all the time and never wear a cast, even most fractures are typically treated with a pad and tape. If it is really severe the docotr may reccomend a cast, that happens with only a small percentage of this injur, if so its a 2-4 week cast not a 6-8 week. Really not a big deal. This is a very common injury. It should not require a cast. Typically they will just put a splint/brace on it. Pediatrists are not scary people. Depending on how bad it is you might need a cain or crutches for a few weeks. I had a similar experience and it turned out I didnt even break my toe, it was just sprained really badly and once the wswelling went down after a week or so it was fine. Bottom line, you have nothing to worry about.

How important is high school gpa?
Colleges definitely consider GPA. However, a lot of colleges look at your SAT scores more, because they are a standardized test. GPAs can vary from school to school. Suppose I went to a school that had many teachers that graded leniently and I earned a GPA of 4.0, but you went to a school where the teachers were mean and inflexible, but you had a GPA of 3.0. We could be equally intelligent, but I appear more qualified because of the different teachers.
