Fantasy NBA edit lineup issue?
There are multiple games per week in the NBA, however yahoo has set it so we can only edit our lineup (ie, move people on and off the bench) once a week. This makes no sense! How do you change this?
Fantasy Football: team didnt set their lineup and if they had would have beaten me and i am the commish.?
I am the comish of this league. The team i played yesterday didnt start a TE or WR. Had he started those two positions he would have beaten me. I am in a pickle bc i am the comish and in years past have adjusted rosters if someone quits playing yet I would have to retroactively change his lineup at this point resulting in a loss for me. Any suggestions on the right course of action.
How do fantasy basketball lineups work?
If I set up my starters for december 25, is that who should be on my starting lineup for the week long matchup, or should i change my starters day by day according to who is playing that day. I hope that made sense. I am new to fantasy basketball and very confused. Thanks, Zac

I have already picked a team where I am going for a 3-4-3.GK - Courtois(£5.5) & Maenpaa(£4)DEF - Lindelof(£5.5), Francis(£4.5), Trippier(£5.5), Mee(£4.5) & Rangel(£4)MID - Sigurdsson(£8.5), Alli(£9.5), Kante(£5), Mane(£9.5) & Romeu(£4.5)ATT - Lacazette(£10.5), King(£7.5) & Lukaku(£11.5)Remaining in the bank : £0Justifying this,Defense(£33.5) :I made sure that I pick at least 3 defenders from the teams those produced some good amount of cleansheets last season. Thus I have picked players from United, Chelsea and Spurs. I avoided picking defenders from City or Liverpool or Arsenal given their poor stats last season. For the remaining three positions, I picked up Francis, Mee and Rangel. Mee and Francis were best amongst players under £4.5, I will have to bench one of them. I had selected one defender worth £4 since I would never play with 5 defenders. I also made sure that, I don’t spend much here so that I have balance remaining to sustain better players upfront.Midfield(£37) :I desperately wanted to pick De Bruyne and Sanchez but, considering Sanchez’s uncertain future and De Bruyne’s varying positions(deeper sometimes), I was reluctant to pick them. There should not be second thoughts over picking Mane and Alli. I picked Sigurdsson since I personally like him for his set piece abilities. Kante and Romeu are picked to make sure that all midfielders play full 90 minutes on the pitch. There are lot of other options in Hazard, Lallana, Mkhitaryan or Coutinho but, it depends on personal choice.Attack(£29.5) :Combining attack & midfield, I wanted to have at least one player amongst the top 6. Having picked Alli already, I didn’t go for Kane. I think Lacazette’s pace will bring some goals for Arsenal, picked him. Lukaku is no doubt a proven talent. He will be more lethal with a better team this season. Now, with some modest balance left, I have picked King. He scored some goals during the last campaign and will be a popular pick.Playing XI :Courtois(V), Trippier, Lindelof, Francis, Sigurdsson, Alli, Kante, Mane, Lacazette, King & Lukaku(C)P.S. This line-up might change since there is a lot of time for the season to start.
Why can't I set a lineup for today in fantasy basketball?
I'm the commish of a new basketball league and we just got done drafting. I changed the settings, so that scoring would start today Tuesday, the 26th. I was hoping that players could submit lineups for tonights games. However, it doesn't let anyone do that. The soonest anyone in the league is allowed to make a roster decision is still Wednesday. What am I over looking? Is there a setting that I'm not aware of. As you can probably tell, I'm new to all of this!
How often should I change my player lineup in fantasy NBA standard leagues?
As often as is allowed. Most leagues have either daily or weekly adjustments. If you’re in a weekly league, make sure most of all your guys are playing at least three or ideally four times in a week. If it’s a daily league just make sure every starting position is filled with a player playing that day.If you maintain your roster regularly, you’ll be better than half the league (so many teams drop off because owners get busy, forget to manage their rosters etc.).
Yahoo fantasy football lineup glitch?
Between the glitches and the new format, have you ever thought of just trying a different site for fantasy football? Consider trying a site like draftstreet. Draftstreet is a daily/weekly fantasy site that offers several different formats (snake, pick'em, salary cap) to fit your fantasy needs. They are a very reliable site with a more aesthetic appeal. With all the problems yahoo has been having lately, consider checking them out. Do note that although they offer money leagues as well, there are plenty of free leagues to keep you busy. If you've never considered daily/weekly fantasy sports, I highly recommend you at least check it out. Unlike season long leagues, daily/weekly leagues are great in that each week is a fresh start. If a player is injured, or just turns out to not be performing up to snuff, you can correct your team easily and stop feeling the sting of that player very quickly. If you are the type that likes to outfox your opponent in the drafting stages, you get the opportunity to do this for every week of games. It is quite invigorating. In fantasy basketball, can I change the players in my lineup daily or are they locked for the week?
First year playing Fantasy basketball; have played FF for years. But basketball is obviously different. If I pick a player and they play on Monday, can I change him out for a bench player who plays on Tuesday, and so on and so forth throughout the week? Or are the players locked in for a week once I have them in my starting lineup and they play a game? My league is head-to-head; Weekly deadlines are set to Daily-Tomorrow. Thanks.

it depends on your league's settings. it reads like (it says you change every monday) like it is a weekly line-up league. there are leagues that you can set daily. i'd bet somewhere on your team page there is a link to the settings, i'd look for that. i'm not familiar w/ nba.com leagues or if you can even make your own settings over there. most leagues on yahoo are daily changes. the default on yahoo is daily, you'd have to create a league (or join a custom league) & change the settings for a weekly change league. the advantages of a weekly change league is.... well i don't know of a good reason other than it's better for casual fans. the advantage of daily change is just that, you can still go in & set a line-up for the whole week w/out having to come on everyday BUT, you can play guys that have games one day & bench them for someone else on days they are off. another big advantage of daily changes is INJURY. if you are know that D Wade hurt his ankle on tuesday, you can take him out & put someone in you KNOW will play on wednesday. if Kobe has been in court all week but will be back for the weekend games, you won't miss out on what he does for the final couple games of the week.
Would you be interested in a fantasy football lineup generator?
If your product is there to give me optimal lineups based off proper analytics, great I’d use it for projections per day. Of course, that’s only useful if I am the only one getting those players generated, if everyone is getting the same players then I am using to generate players NOT to choose in my dailies and it becomes purely a contrarian identification tool. An alternative use case may be in filling in holes in my lineup if I can’t make final decisions or am on the fence with 2 similarly prices players.But overall I guess I don’t see the point to be honest. If I am into Daily Fantasy then the fun part is choosing my lineups based off the knowledge I have accrued on my own. A tool can help me make decisions but a generator is just filling in the blanks. And then there’s the trust factor. How do I know you guys know more than I do or my sources? You have to prove to users your choices for daily decision making is top tier otherwise you could cost me a lot of money that I’d rather lose on my own.
