Help Me To Take A Decision On Whether To Go To Scool Or Not. Tommorow. Asap

International Business degree? PLEASE HELP ASAP - Thank You very much!!!?

If you are really just interested in travel, I would recommend instead international relations/affairs, area studies (e.g., Latin American studies, East Asian studies), or a language/cultural major (e.g. Spanish, Japanese).

The reason I say that is because the "international" is only one part of the international business major. The business world IS very competitive and if you are not inclined to it, there's no point in entering it. I would disagree that it is difficult to get a job with a business major or that it is looked down upon. Business is the most popular major in the U.S., with over 300,000 students earning some kind of bachelor's in an area of business each year. That means that you will have a LOT of competition for jobs and positions at grad schools if you ever want to forward your career.

However, the upside to international business (as opposed to just business) is that you'll be learning how to deal with different business practices in other cultures and probably another language or two. You'd be surprised how many business majors come out of college not knowing how to speak another language and have absolutely no desire to work abroad or learn one. Most large companies are global and need someone who can cross cultures and converse in other languages with business people in China, India, Japan, South Korea, and other countries.

Besides, many people do not get a job in the major they chose in college. If you're interested in int'l business, you can major in it and then end up doing something totally different that still allows you to travel -- like working as a foreign service officer, a journalist/foreign correspondent, working for multinational NGOs or other agencies, the government, etc. Your expertise as a world citizen will be useful in many industries.

My advice: first, study abroad. Few people will take seriously the international business major who has no international experience. And second, master a language. Don't just learn one, master one, to at least conversational business fluency. I recommend Chinese, Japanese, Korean, even Hindi or Arabic -- China and India are being recognized as major emerging economies, Japan is already a major business leader, and South Korea has major business ties to the U.S. Another useful business language is German. Don't master a language that comes a dime a dozen (like Spanish or French) so that you can set yourself ahead of the pack.

Is it wrong to stay home from school because of periods?

Yeah, that's fine.
Just make sure it's only about one day of your time, don't miss too much school.
Relax, sleep, read, take a hot bath, lay a heating pad of your tummy, drink tea, and you'll feel great!
:)

Help ASAP- My dog ate ibuprofen- Don't know how many...?

My 1 and a half year old golden retriever got a plastic bag that had some ibuprofen in it and I don't know how many he ate but the bag was ripped up and there were some on the ground.

Now, I can't schedule a vet appointment until tomorrow and I'd rather not pay 300 dollars for an emergency if it's not one.

My dog is huge, about 110 pounds...
And right now, I'm estimating he ate them maybe 2 hours ago. We weren't home.
He hasn't shown any signs of toxicity...

What should I do?

My classes are going to begin tomorrow, and I'm pretty nervous. What should I do?

Sit in the front row, of all your classes. Sit slightly to the professors left. Statistically, this seat always gets an ‘A.’ All the other A’s are centered around it. All the ‘B’s’ are centered around it. All the ‘C’s’ are centered around it. The ‘D’s’ and ‘F’s’ are in the back of the room. Sitting there will get you exposed to the smartest people. Just being around them will increase your knowledge and popularity.Don’t put up with any bullying, either against you or anyone else.Develop good study habits. The sooner you can get your homework done, after the class, the easier it is. If you have term papers, get started on them, asap. Take good notes. If you don’t know how, look it up, on the net. Bathe, regularly. Smile at people you don’t know. Act in a friendly manner, toward everyone. Stay away from cliques. Those tend to develop an “us vs. them” mentality.Get a good calendar, and put all your homework, essays, term papers, and projects into it.

Which one is correct, "We would appreciate it if you sent us…" or "We would appreciate it if you would send us…"? Is the second one at least usable (maybe in some special cases)? Is there a better way to say it?

Both are gramnatically correct and both convery same meaning of impossibility ie the listener will not send it.

I'm getting married to an Airman, when can we live together?

You seriously want to get married right after Tech school. If he can prove that he was married before his report date you can get command sponsorship and they will pay to move you and all your belongings to wherever he goes. He could be stationed in Alaska, you never know. It would save you thousands of dollars. Also, you will be assigned housing once he knows what base he is going to, then on his report date and inprocessing he can register forhousing. If there is a waiting list, he will know how long, and may even get TLA (temporary housing) or you can collect BAH and live off post. Some people say you can't live off post if you are lower ranking which is true, but there is a housing shortage on many bases so often times there is no choice. Now, I wouldn't elope, as you are saying, but I would plan a small, simple wedding that would be easy to move from one day to the next (say, in the backyard) and enjoy the leave! Make sure you take into account any waiting periods on the marriage license of course, and factor that into his leave. I eloped with my husband three days before he was stationed in Alaska, and I regret not having a bigger wedding--It was just him, me and the judge!

And Blaster--nothing in her post said to me that she was young, or fresh out of high school sweethearts with this man. I didnt get married until I was 24. Im sure she is capable of making a decision based on the right reasons and decided to arry this man long beofre these issues came up, its just a matter of details at this point...:)

What is the relationship between Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn in the adventures of tom sawyer?

Tom feels too boxed in by his aunt and tattletale brother; he can identify with Huckleberry's lawless, rebellious personality and life. They tend to make decisions based on this ideal, such as running off to the island, sneaking around town at night after treasure, and so on. The end results of their decisions tend to draw their community together.
This is all I could think of from when we read this book for english last year.

Someone I don't personally know but goes to my school posted a picture with a bunch of guns and captioned it "don't go to school tomorrow students". What should I do other than report it to administrators?

First, though school administration should certainly be aware, you should really start with the police.Second, this could simply be trolling, right? But let’s take a second to look at the two scenarios:It’s a troll. He’s trying to get a reaction. You call the police. The police investigate. They give him a thorough browbeating. He maybe gets in trouble for making terrorist threats. The police probably keep your name out of it.It isn’t a troll. Some poor excuse for a human is not only a monster for planning something, he’s also an idiot for telling everyone about it. You call the police. They figure it all out. You’re probably some kind of hero. What else can you do aside from call administration and the police? I’m not sure. I wouldn’t start a panic. The odds are that this is just a prank (they usually are), so let the proper authorities handle it.Also tell your parents. Let them decide what else you can and should do.

My tonsils are the size of golf balls and HURT. Should I Go To School Tomorrow?

no go 2 the doctor instead

I don’t have a doctors excuse note for work?

I just got my first job at Burger King a little over a month ago. I missed work yesterday because my back was hurting so bad I could barely move. The only problem is that when I called off the manager said I need to come back with a doctors note but I wasn’t able to go to the doctor. My next shift is tomorrow after school and I do not know what I should do. Also I don’t think explaining why I couldn’t get a doctors note would do me any good because the supervisor and manager already had a nasty attitude when I called off. What do I do?
