Help Me With These Muscle Issues

What can you do to ease muscle aches after seizures?

This can be difficult. Many people are not as understanding as you, and don't understand the issues which remain after the seizure, since the person looks as if they are their normal self. In fact, he is tired from the energy exerted, and the muscles are very tired, and sore from the expenditure of electrolytes.

Try to look at a seizure as a very hard physical athletic event. The recovery is similar. In addition to the medications, or VNS to control the seizures, he needs to rebuild the electrolytes with good nutrition, and possibly nutritional supplementation or re-hydration solutions. Then he should do some light exercise/stretching to relieve the tightness in the muscles, and then soak in a bath or take a warm shower. Understand, that if a person is prone to seizures, someone should be available in case he needs help while in the bath.

In addition to working with some of my patients with these issues, I had as many as 11 seizures in a day at one time due to brain injury. I now have those controlled, but I used to have to work with the muscle issues frequently.

Why do I feel pain in muscles after push ups?

It's a very common thing that happens to anyone who doed pushups or any physical work. Our muscles when we put them to a tough work or a physical activity such as pushups, we increase the wear and tear on them.Muscles are made up of millions of “tendons”, long fibers that form a muscle. When we exercise, these fiber get torn on microscopic level, that is what you feel after a workout , some sort of pain with a bit of warmth in your muscles(pump). By eating adequate amounts of protein and other micronutrients we replenish our stamina and also we repair our muscles. That leads to the increase in the muscular density. This is how our muscle work. It's natural to feel pain after working out or doing pushups or any physical activity. But make sure to be able to differentiate between muscular pain and joint pain. If there is any pain in joints, stop doing work and make sure to get yourself checked by a doctor.Hope this helps you!!

How do I relieve muscle pain after vomiting?

Treating back pain and vomitingTreatment for back pain and vomiting will address the underlying condition. Your doctor may prescribe antiemetics, or medications that stop vomiting.Home careHydration is important after you’ve experienced a bout of vomiting, because you lose fluids when you vomit. You can rehydrate by drinking small sips of water, ginger ale, or a clear electrolyte-containing beverage that doesn’t contain excess sugars.Waiting about six hours after a vomiting spell to eat can reduce the likelihood that you will vomit again. When you do eat, focus on soft and bland foods such as crackers or applesauce. Eating several small meals a day also helps to keep nausea at bay.Resting your back is a vital part of treating back pain. You can apply an ice pack covered in cloth for 10 minutes at a time the first three days after your back pain appears. After 72 hours, you may apply heat, its procedure. Over-the-counter pain relievers, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, can relieve pain after your vomiting subsides.

Best pillow for continuing neck muscle pain, please help!!!!!?

Getting the right size, shape and density of neck pillow is very important and it can be hard to decide. Pillows can be expensive especially tempur pedic ones. My suggestion would be to get a pillow that gives you proper neck support. They call this a contoured neck pillow or an orthopedic neck pillow. I do have some suggestions:
1. Arc4lifes' cervical traction neck pillow- this has a special v that gives your neck a stretch while sleeping: http://www.arc4life.com/site/615058/page/158456- Lots of great testimonials on this one. Price ranges from 52 dollars- 65 dollars

2. Linear gravity support pillow- comes in 3 sizes- there are two lobes of support to choose from
http://www.neckpainreliefkit.com/lineargravityneckpillow. Price ranges from 46- 57 dollars. This pillows comes highly recommended by health professionals. Very soft pillow.

3. If you are looking for something that is more dense and firm instead of #2- try the tricore family of neck pillows: http://www.neckpainreliefkit.com/fiberneckpillows - price ranges from 41 - 55 dollars. Comes in petite, mid size and regular size. You can choose gentle or firm with this family of pillows.

*** Keep in mind, any pillow you use is going to cause some soreness. It can take a few days for your neck muscles and ligaments to adjust to the new position**

Hope this helps.

How do I get rid of joint and muscle pain with home remedies?

See below a testimony written by a close friend, who was dealing with all manner of pain.I’m a US Navy Gulf War veteran, who has proudly served my country. With my duties and responsibilities over the years, I have now to deal with mild PTSD, chronic issues (knee, foot, back, shoulder, elbow) to name a few and not to mention how my conditions affect my sleeping pattern. I also have degenerated discs in my lower back (L5S1) along with the two above, so I’m always in deep pain and there is a possibility that surgery will be required. After leaving the military my pain began increasing over the years. Now I'm the beneficiary of medical aid (disability) and have been to many doctors, including pain management specialist, who have all attempted to relief my discomfort with medications. To date nothing that I have used, have worked consistentlyAwaken Holistic Hemp Water was introduced to me early November 2017 and things have taken a complete 360” turn. My sleeping pattern since then are now restful, I wake up more energized and focused. My pain is vertically gone, where my body is not stiff anymore in the morning, it hasn't been a challenge to get out of bed anymore or bed ridden.   This stuff is awesome and I would recommend to those share what I was going through. you can get more information from Awaken Hemp - Holistic CBD Hemp Water - Home

How can I ease Rhomboid muscle pain?

Ok, where should I start? The rhomboids are used to pull your shoulder blades together and that is not typically required to carry a backpack so overuse is probably not an issue>However, it MAY be you are putting on the backpack and then pulling your shoulders forward or hunching forward (which then overstretches your rhomboids for an extended period of time). When you have your backpack on you should be upright without pulling your shoulders forward or hunching. It could be your traps and not your rhomboids. Traps might get involved because the straps dig into part of it on the top of your shoulders. It could be that you hunch forward or have forward posture (which overstretches the rhomboids) when you are studying and that it is not your backpack but just think it is.Perhaps you could try carrying some books in your hands or in a hand held bag. This would lighten the load. You should speak with your MD about what can be done and for an assessment.
