Can someone help me figure out what's wrong with my period?

There are many reasons for atypical periods, and the understanding is best not resolved on a message board. You absolutely need to have this conversation with your health care provider, preferably a gynecologist as they are the experts in all things menstrual cycle.

I don't sweat when I workout, is something wrong?

Out of all the times that I've worked out and done all sorts of exercises from very light workouts to intense workouts I only get a little damped. I drink tons and tons of water and never feel dehydrated. I watch what I eat so I rarely eat salty foods. Is there something wrong with not sweating like I've seen people sweat after our workouts? Because I've heard it's very bad to not sweat since my body is suppose to naturally sweat to keep it at a certain temperature.

I got fatter after working out for a month. What's wrong with my body?

This might sound counter-intuitive, but you're on the right track: The only way to know what type of exercise works best for you is to measure your progress, and you seem to be doing that. However, there are a few things to remember:(1) Weight and body fat % are a good start. Keep in mind that decreasing your body fat % will take time, and will depend on how you train. It's also important to measure your body fat % overtime because measurements can be a little bit off sometimes. If you take several measurements over a longer period of time, you'll be able to detect the times when your scale was giving you an inaccurate %.(2) Try to understand what activities / classes help you burn the most calories. Some people lose weight with cardio, other with strength training. It is hard to tell how your body reacts to exercise without measuring your results.(3) Try to have a specific goal in mind (or on paper, ideally). E.g. losing weight, gaining muscle, working specific parts of your body. Based on that, you would need to pick the activities that target the areas you want to work on. This will help you get results much faster.Hope this helps.P.S. There must be other things you could do with regard to nutrition, but I am not a specialist.

Doctors can't figure out what's wrong with me. What do I do?

Doctor’s don’t know everything. I am not sure what is wrong with you, but I had severe headaches that the doctors could not figure out what was wrong, even after many tests. So one day I took my health into my own hands, and changed my diet completely. Did away with all grains and processed foods, and only eat meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Only drink water, herbal tea, and on Sunday give myself a special treat of decaf and coconut milk. I went from severe headaches to complete health and the doctors still say diet had nothing to do with it. I proved them wrong. What do you call the person last in their class in medical school? Doctor!

What is wrong with drinking soda after a work out?

Sodas are full of sugars and chemicals. The diet varieties are just full of chemicals, with the sweetness coming from artificial sweeteners (more chemicals).

Numerous studies show that sodas have a terrible effect on your health - they promote obesity and speed up tooth decay. Besides, you don't need a study to tell you that ingesting chemicals cannot be good for you, no matter how snazzily packaged in a can or bottle.

Best drink before and after workouts: plain water - it has no chemicals, no calories. Plus, it rehydrates you and replenishes the water you have lost through sweating while working out. Sodas don't do that.

Sports drinks are no good, either, unless you have run a lot or otherwise exercised intensely - full of sugars. They are fine for pro athletes. For most of the rest of us, plain water is the best drink.

After a workout, it is advisable to drink a mix of proteins and carbs. The best drink for that - 8 to 10 oz. of low-fat chocolate milk!

Why can't my doctors figure out what's wrong?

For the past 8 months I've been suffering from a vast amount of symptoms that just get worse every day. No one knows whats wrong, and nothing helps. It's ruining my life! I can't even make it through a school day anymore, so I had to drop my favorite course and now I have to leave early every day under doctor's orders. Sure, it sounds nice, but it's not, its horrible. I haven't gone out with friends in months and I'm in pain all the time. My family thinks I'm insane and wants to send me to a mental institute. Literally. They think I have Munchhausen's or something. I've been to 3 doctors, not including a sleep specialist, a psychiatrist, a cardiologist, and a neurologist. They all admit somethings wrong, and it's autoimmune. They just don't know what. This is a living hell. Ive gone from straight A's and leading in the school's plays to dropping out of my classes and staying in bed all day. I'm 15, and I'm missing out on my whole life. Im going to a Reumatologist next week, and im being tested for epilepsy.

The diseases they've ruled out are:
Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Mono, Leukemia, A few other cancers, Celiac disease, my MRI was normal, my routine blood samples are normal, and i think a few other things.

my symptoms:
constant extremely painful migraines
sensitivity to sound and visual auras.
Extreme fatigue, falling asleep. I sleep 10-14 hours a day.
weird twitching, like shocks, but not painful, just super annoying.
constantly ill, basically NO immune system
bone and joint pain in upper extremities, pain when reaching up
spinal pain
staring spells, where im like half dreaming and not paying any attention to anything around me.
mild cataplexy
numbness
low fever
constant feeling of extreme sickness
and the sleep doctor says i have narcolepsy.

...A lot of other things as well. Especially odd things. (if you ask, answers will be in the additional details)

The things i think it sounds most like are
lupus and polymyosistis.

If you have ANY ideas that would cover all of the symptoms, PLEASE let me know. I can't take it anymore, and I want to just get on with my life. Please help me out

What’s the most interesting wrong workout you’ve seen at the gym?

Oh I have seen so many. My favorites are those who put the level at 0 - no resistance whatsoever - on the stationary bikes, then get on their phones and go at a snail’s pace then brag afterward that they spent an hour cycling in the gym.But almost as good are those who do a tiny weight for twenty reps. Then they sit on the machine for five minutes and repeat this 7–8 times, effectively keeping the machine for 40 minutes.Or the guys who come in work out chest and biceps, or biceps and chest and have great looking chests and biceps, little or no back, no legs. They end up shaped like light bulbs - big arms, big chest, scrawny legs and back. But those that are doing right workouts? The swimmers who come in, and start cranking out laps with flip turns. They take a breath every two or three or four strokes. and sometimes do three miles in an hour. The Olympic lifters who can squat prodigious amounts of weight, often so much that the bar is bending down. The Olympic lifters who - at 250 plus pounds - can easily dunk a basketball. The tiny ballet dancers I’ve seen who do the entire stack of weights on a leg machine for 50 plus reps without batting an eye.Small guys and girls who can dead lift prodigious amounts of weight even though they don’t look all that big in street clothes….These folks just wow me. I usually don’t pay attention much to others when I’m at the gym. I’m concentrating on what I’m doing. But the folks who do it right? They impress the hell out of me.

How do I figure out what's wrong with my brake lights they stay on while I'm driving?

Without any information about year, make, or model of vehicle I can't give a great answer. The brake lights are activated by the brake light switch(this is directly connected to the brake pedal in some way.) I am going to guess either the switch has come lose, has failed, or that your vehicle has the hole in the pedal where a plastic piece should be to depress the switch and the plastic piece has broken(this is honestly one of the dumbest things I have seen. Many manufacturers do it but I can't think of any reason why.)The possible causes are too numerous to list but most likely it is directly related to the brake switch. I will say some are easy to replace and some require a circus level contortionist, just like the price from near nothing to ridiculous. Hope this help. Next time include year make and model. There are many great techs on here and many vehicles have weird issues specialized tech know and unlike what many say we do this cause we enjoy helping people not screwing them over.

What would you do if you see someone workout with a wrong form while at the gym?

Ah haa! Yu have seen someone working out with what you feel is improper form haven’t you!!If someone is on a leg press and there are more 45’s loaded on it than you have digits and they are using their hands to push on their knees to do reps and grunting loudly—leave them alone! They will not appreciate your advice if you even know what the proper form is for whatever exercise. If you really know the proper form then perhaps depending on your judgement of the person who you feel is at risk of injury, you might offer advice. Make sure you know what is correct and why in case you need to explain why an exercise is done the way it is done. Someone who is advanced may have their own tweaks they use. I do.
