Help My Headphone Is Good But Not Able To Hear Anything ||

What're some good headphones?

I've been looking for some good headphones, can't seem to find any. I've gone to Best Buy, Walmart, and Target. Any store that sells headphones. I'm sure I've missed a store, the RadioShacks' near me are all shutdown, so I can't go there. I've researched on yahoo answers only to find more generalized answers that didn't really help. My experience with headphones are pretty decent, I've had V-Modas(excellent), Beats(overrates), Skullcandys(decent not as bad as people say), Sennheisers(good), and Sony(above average). This time around I'm looking to spend less than $150. I'm into hip-hop, jazz, r&b, classical, pop, oldies, etc. Id love to get Bluetooth and noise cancelling headphones but can't seem to figured out which ones to get either.

How come i cant hear the right side of my headphones?

I have had this happen to me sooooo many times. The connection is messed up. Apparently if you mess with the base of the headphones, (the area where you plug in) you may temporarily be able to get sound back as long as you hold it. But it might be in your best interest to get a new pair :)

What should I do when one of my ear cannot hear well?

I think you have discovered on your own that you have a hearing loss that has been undetected previously. The fact that you need to press the earbud into your ear deeper to understand sounds to me as if you have a unilateral hearing loss (uni=one, lateral=side, unilateral is one sided).Do you find that you naturally use your phone much more on one side than the other? You probably also just naturally turn your head slightly when trying to hear someone speak. What about if someone wants to whisper in your ear—do you prefer a side? These are all unconscious, and generally unrecognized signs of mild unilateral hearing loss. Please tell your mother two things: the truth—that you were afraid she might think you had caused this yourself—and the second is that you need her support in taking you to see a doctor. You are doing a very wise thing in seeking help. Deep breath, relax, now….go find Mom and talk.

I can't hear anything out of my right earphone when I listen to my iPod; what's the problem?

The connection is bad. Move it around a little and you will get to the point when you can hear it on the right because you are pushing the connection to the right spot. Most likely, you will need a new ear phones though.

I could hear "The Mosquito" frequency sound with my headphones on, but not off. Are my ears messed up?

It is quite possible that your headphones have a better frequency response than your speakers, meaning that they are able to reproduce a higher variation of sounds at the higher and lower ends of the range of human hearing. Thus, if your speakers have less of a frequency response they are simply incapable of making the sound and you will not hear it.

I have turned my volume up to full but I cant hear anything, is there a way to fix this?

On a computer sound system there are sometimes about 8 gain controls in series and they all have to be turned up and enabled before you can hear anything. I have systems with an echo canceller/mixer inline, so that’s a bit extreme, but the same principle applies. If you are using a powered speaker with a volume control that has to be turned on and up, then in the sound card in the computer the correct input has to be enabled, the output has to be enabled, the master gain control has to be up and also the gain control for the relevant input, e.g. “PCM”. Lastly, make sure someone hasn’t unplugged the speaker, or plugged it into the wrong socket. Sometimes there are “VU” meter apps that will show you the sound level of a particular input. Our echo canceller has those - you can monitor each of 16 inputs and outputs individually. One can debug components by using spares - make sure the speakers work on a different computer, make sure the computer works with headphones or a different speaker. If the problem is headphones that won’t work, maybe a wire has broken. The conductor can break inside the insulation.

What are the side effects of wearing headphones for a long time?

First. I will show my opinion:Listening to headphones (including various Ear-buds), if the volume is too large, it will cause tinnitus easily, what’s more, it will damage to the hearing irreversibly. This is by no means an alarmist. Here is the reason explained why too loud sound cause hearing loss, Please see the Structure of the human ear:Sound waves (air vibrations) enter the ear canal and hit the eardrum. These sound waves vibrate the eardrum membrane and ossiclesVibrations passing through the fluid in the spiral inner ear (called the cochlea) cause tiny hearing hair cells in the cochlea to vibrate. Hair cells detect movement and turn it into an Electrochemical signal acceptable to the auditory nerve. The auditory nerve sends information to the brain through electrical impulses, and the brain interprets and understands the information.Look at young people's hair cells, they are arrayed. And this are old people’s hair cells, much less than the young’s.When listening to music loudly with headphones for a long time, your hair cells will fall out. Please note that these hair cells are non-renewable. More generally, one is missing. So here are the questions:Although we have got to know how do loud music cause hearing loss, how can we distinguish whether we have hearing loss or not?How to Avoid Hearing Damage from Headphones?……..If you want to know more details:Can headphones damage your hearing? In fact, choosing a good pair of headphones can be important, which can help you avoid hearing damage a lot. iPhone 5 receives call, but cannot hear the caller. What are some suggestions to fix it? Is this phone completely broken?

Try those reseting/ restoring options first,if it doesn't help, then there are still few things to try, apart from above suggestions, to determine the actual problem. 1. Press volume up/down button a few times on the home screen, see whats written on the volume bar screen, is it showing "headphones" or "ringer", if it shows "headphones" with no headphone plugged in, then most likely the headphone jack circuit is shortened.2. if above showed "ringer", most likely the hearing speaker on the top of the phone is busted, or the circuit connection from the hearing speaker is cut off.3. if the replacing the hearing speaker doesnt help and the circuits are not cut off, then most likely u21 IC is busted.

Bought a doppler and cannot hear the babys heart beat?

It is still very early for hearing the heartbeat and even medical professionals can have a problem finding it at this stage and in fact they usually do not attempt to listen for a heartbeat at this early stage.
There is no particular place or time that is better than another for hearing baby's heartbeat as the heartbeat is constant no matter where you are or what time of day. Baby's position can make it more tricky but at 12 weeks there is no way you can tell what position baby is lying in other than when you have an ultrasound scan.
I appreciate it is frustrating for you but it really is just a case of being patient and persevering but don't be surprised if it is several weeks or more before you hear anything. As baby grows it will become a lot easier to detect the heartbeat.
