How to stop unsolicited and spam emails getting sent to my Yahoo email account?
For like a year now, I have been getting alot of unsolicited and spam emails (ex: Be Naughty Company, Booty Call Alerts, Canadian Pharmacy, Get Laid, etc). I have been putting them all into the Unsubscribe folder everytime I get them, but I still get like 10-15 spam emails a day from the same email addresses. I know you can block email addresses with Yahoo, but I'm afraid that if I open up the emails, then I'll get a virus on my computer. Some of the emails don't even have a illegitimate email address either. Anyone know how to stop the spam and unsolicited emails from being sent to my email address? I feel like putting the spam emails into my Unsubscribe folder doesn't help all that much since I still keep getting the emails.

How do I delete all the emails in my Gmail inbox by one action only?
Note: This only works for Gmail and is updated to March 2, 2019. Lots of these posts are old and thus not relevant anymore since Gmail is always changing the layout. Even in google’s spam folder, it does not catch all the spam, and sometimes mistakenly puts important emails in there. How do unspam messages that have been deleted?
To remove a block... Go to the Spam / Bulk folder and see if the email that you spammed is there. If so, mark it as Not Spam, which will return it to the Inbox and remove the block against the address automatically. (If you are using the classic version of Y.Mail, you have to open the email to find the Not Spam button.) If the email that you spammed is no longer in the Spam / Bulk folder, you can manually remove the address from the block list. Here's how... If you use the New Yahoo Mail version (formerly known as Beta), go to Options > Mail Options > Spam. If you use the Classic version, go to Options > Block Addresses. Look for the address in the list of blocked addresses. The list is in num/alpha order. When you find it, select it and click Remove Block. You will then be able to receive emails from that contact as usual.

Check Mailwasher, it helps to eliminate spam from your inbox... Set up your email account(s) in MailWasher and hit the "Check Mail" button. It then downloads all new message headers and displays message details alongside each one (priority, subject, from, to, etc.). Any email that MailWasher considers to be spam is highlighted for easy sorting. Two checkboxes are located next to each message header: "Delete" and "Bounce". If you click "Delete" the email will be marked for deletion, click "Bounce" and the mail will be marked for bouncing - a fake "address not found" email will be sent to the sender. Once you have decided what to bounce and delete, click "Process Mail" to get it done and your mail client launched for downloading all accepted emails. MailWasher has a "blacklist" and a "friends list" to enter good and bad email addresses. Addresses in the blacklist are marked for deletion, and addresses in the friends list will be marked as okay. Filters can be set to increase MailWasher's effectiveness. You can have email addressed to "undisclosed recipients" automatically deleted and bounced for example. How do you reverse spam mail ?
For New Yahoo Mail: Go to your Spam/Bulk folder, check if it still contains the email that you spammed. If it's there, mark it "not spam", that returns it to the Inbox and removes the block against the address. For Yahoo mail classic: open the email to find the Not Spam button. If it is no longer in the Spam/Bulk folder, do this: for New Yahoo Mail go to options -> mail options -> spam, for Yahoo mail classic go to options -> block addresses. For both mail versions check the list of blocked addresses which shows numerical order first, then alphabetical order. When you find the mail, mark it, click "remove block". Now you can get emails from Ebay as before.
