Help Samsung Galaxy S3 Not Charging

Samsung galaxy s3 not charging?

Hello
My samsung galaxy s3 hasnt been charging properly for a werk now! The phone detects the charger as i can see the charging icon, it either charges but super slowly and only reacher a maximum of 50% or it doesnt charge at all, sometimes the percentage starts to decreasewhile on charge!!

I experimented with it to see what might b the cause and i found out that:
1- the battery is not the problem since it charges when i put it in an other samsung s3
2- the charger is not the problem since its charging the other samsung s3 just fine
3- I factory reset my phone to make sure its not a software problem, it didnt work

What else could b the problem???

How can I fix a Samsung Galaxy S3 that is not charging?

My Samsung Galaxy S3 is charging very slow?

Alright, so I have this fairly new Samsung Galaxy S3, got it around december 10th. It has a few cracks that I have yet to show my parents, and I'm getting the screen replaced next weekend so I cant show my parents untill then.

My battery seems to not charge well and I changed chargers! It stays at around 2% or 0% and I left it charging overnight for school for around 10 hours and it only charged 34%! Help!

Why is my Samsung Galaxy S3 not charging?

Quite possibly, it could be the charger. Make sure it is completely plugged into the wall, power brick, and charging port. If it still doesn't work, check if the head of the charger is bent. If it isn't, check if it works in other devices. If not, the charger may be broken. Check if other chargers work on the phone. If they do, the charger is broken. If they don't, the charger port is either broken or dusty. Clean it out with a can of compressed air. If it still doesn't work, take it to a Samsung store or wherever you got the phone and get it looked at and repaired.

My Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 takes too long to charge. What is the problem?

Ever wonder why your phone seems to charge more slowly on some electrical outlets or ports? You’re not crazy – there’s a good reason for it, and that reason is USB. USB 2.0 ports output 0.5 amps of energy while USB 3.0 ports output 0.9 amps of energy. When you charge via a traditional electrical outlet, you can receive anywhere from 1 to 2 amps of energy. The more amps you send to your phone’s battery, the faster it will charge. 1 to 2 amps of power may not seem like a lot, but 2 amps is four times as much power as you’ll get from USB 2.0, which roughly translates to 4 times faster charging times.

Samsung Galaxy core, 3months old, not charging, even though it is plugged to the charger. Help?

Well, first is first. If your Samsung device is not charging take a USB port and plug it to your computer/Laptop (Make sure the USB port is not worn out.) The phone will charge faster this way due to the fact that the laptop/computer has a stronger battery than mobile devices. After your phone charges install Battery doctor on your phone and always run it while charging.Hope this helps

Strange samsung galaxy s3 charging behavior ,Is this normal?

My s3 stop charging 100% last week ,since then maximum i can charge it is 74% and i thought my battery getting weaker or something.

For some reason i borrowed my brother's nokia phone USB (i'm glad i did that) and charged my phone using my s3 charger and it charged my phone 100% then today i tried again with my s3 USB and again i cant charge my phone over 74% .

it's pretty strange ,it's just the cable that preventing it from charging over 74% . THE CABLE ! it don't have any chip or something to give commands ,it's just a wire.

The charging cable for my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone also connects to my Kindle Fire tablet and charges it - is this safe for the tablet?

As long as the charger is compatible with your device, you can use it for charging. The brand and make of the charger doesn’t matter if the power specification matches your device’s power specification. The matter of concern is when a charger that is not compatible with your device is used because it can harm your device’s battery and thus make it less efficient. So my advice would be to check the power specifications of your device & the charger before using them to avoid any charging-related issues.
