Help Spot Behind Head Is Really Hurting And Feels Like There

Head feels hot where it got hit?

I was putting on a different shirt when I hit my head a little with my hand.
It didn't hurt that much, but then in that spot it started to feel really hot for a few minutes.
It went away now but why did that happen?
Is it like internal bleeding or something?

I have severe anxiety and I'm really scared.

My head hurts and feels pressure when I press on a few spots on my scalp, the feeling comes again when I sleep. Could it be brain damage or something more pressure?

So you need to get to a doctor, and now. If you have persistent headaches, painful pressure points on your head, you need a MRI or CT scan or both. Please do not hesitate to seek medical attention. I hope that it is nothing and could be just that your blood pressure is higher than normal, this can be easily controlled, but anything troubling anyone for any length of time, especially in their head needs to be seen to.

I didn't hit my head but it feels like a bruise is there? HELP!!?

So for like the past week I've been getting very sharp pains in my head at random times like, if I tilt my head a certain way or if I'm just sitting there. It's very painful. I haven't bumped my head or hit it on anything. This morning I woke up to a pain on the back of my head, feels like a bruise. But that's impossible because like I said, I did not hit my head on anything. I haven't gone to the doctor or told anyone abou pt it, can anyone tell me here? Please

What could be causing my my head to hurt behind my ear?

Its an area above my ear, behind it, and extending towards the temple and over around to the TMJ area. Its a little swollen, feels like there is some pressure or squish when i press on it. Its not like a headache - it hurts on what feels like the outside of my skull. No sinus symptoms, no toothache, no tooth problems, not really any other symptoms..... Any advice or idea of what I may experiencing? Is this a condition, minor illness, disease - or anyone else ever had this go on?

What might cause a headache that feels like a brain freeze?

There are unlimited causes for headaches. If they are like “brain freeze” headaches, then that is usually caused by a rapid change in blood flow to the brain caused by temperature changes inthe back of your mouth. If the headaches are alleviated quickly with a regulation of mouth temperature then it might just be that. If the headaches are more intense, are not alleviated easily and are common, then be sure to be evaluated by a medical person who will do more than just give you pills. Chiropractors are excellent and reliveing biomechanical and musculoskeletal headaches. Give one a try.

Why does my neck hurt and feels like i need to pop it all the time?

You have tight muscles in your neck and they are pulling the your vertebrae together so that it is uncomfortable and that is why you end up doing the popping thing. You have to release the muscles in your neck for this to stop and when you get them released the rest will become history as well for when the discomfort is gone you will not feel the need to pop it anymore. Here is how to release your neck muscles:
Neck
Invert your hands and put them next to your head placing your thumbs in under your ears and your fingers behind your head. Squeeze together and hold until the muscles release. Then slowly lower your head until your neck is fully extended, release the pressure but hold your head there for another 30 seconds.
With your neck in the bent position, replace your thumbs in under the ears and your fingers behind your neck but right next to your skull this time. Press your fingers and thumbs together again and hold. Relax your body while waiting. When the muscles have all released, slowly lift your head until it’s level again, release the pressure but hold your head like that for another 30 seconds.

What should the soft spot of the top of a baby's head feel like?

Should the soft spot of the top of a baby's head be even with the bones, to where its almost difficult to find? How could one tell if there is a problem with the soft spot?

Can a child really be hurt if the soft spot is touched? How would one tell if the baby is hurt from the soft spot being poked?

I am a curious aunt to be and I have 2 nephews who are curious about the baby. :)

What does it feel like to get shot in the head?

Initially, their is this very loud buzzing, almost a sort of "ringing" type sound as to when it happens. Surprisingly it is very loud, like two bees inside of your ears, but sounds more like how your ears would normally ring, just uncomfortably loud. The initial "ping" as I call it, can be heard before the ringing commences, like someone hitting metal on metal, but it's high-pitched. After that, very loud and scary ringing commences, but no pain is registered at that moment. You feel very very tight pressure where you were shot, and you can feel warm blood seeping out, regardless of what people tell you. Your vision is blurred too, instantly, so as soon as you get shot imagine your vision like a light switch, going from perfectly normal to blurry. You also see these very dark red/black "lines" that are in your eyeball, like blood vessels that are actually there on your pupil. Every step you take you fumble around, like a drunk. You usually either don't know what has happened, or you're too scared to reach your hand around your head and see your fingers stained with blood. Usually after you black out, you're either in a hospital, or you don't wake up. If you don't pass out the pain will set in once the first "round" of adrenaline subsides. The pain is unbearable, like someone cut a hole into your skin, drilled a hole through your skull and is burning your scalp and brain. It can't be described, that's how awful it is. It is so unbearably painful, you think about every second that goes by, days feel like years until the pain completely diminishes. It is also very traumatic, thankfully the bullet didn't hit my brain or anything, it entered but thankfully I'm not screwed up or nothing. Perfectly okay :). Oh and with each heartbeat, it throbs like no other, and stings with each one. If you're considering testing this on yourself, do not, it sucks. Period. :) hope this helped!
