How can I wash my Air Force Nike white shoes? Can I put them in the washing machine? With what settings?

You can wash your Nike white shoes in the washing machine. Kindly do the following. First, clean all non-knit surfaces becauseyou're going to want to get any excess dirt that can be scrubbed off of leather or rubber out first. Then add washing powder. A handful of decent washing powder should do. This should be followed by the measurement of 1/4 cup of bleach. If you’re having trouble understanding that measurement then you should know that this is about half of what you would use for your bed sheets. Now you can set the washer to a warm regular cycle. When it comes to shirts, tees, and other sensitive clothes, we always wash on cold. But for these shoes, warm water cleans better than cold water. You can ignore the clanking sound as the washing machine is actuated. After it is done, air dry the shoes overnight. This is because they will be wet and will smell like bleach.

I found some semen stains in my daughter's bed. Should I talk to her?

First of all, you need to broach the subject because you are running out of time for Plan B medications to be effective. Those are the medications that will prevent a pregnancy if she did have sex by changing her hormone levels so the fertilized egg won't attach to the lining of the uterus.

Second , you take her Planned Parenthood and get her some sex education. Not the abstinence based stuff because it doesn't work. If she is sexually active then take her to a gyn and get her some birth control. Even if she is not having intercourse, she is engaging in at -risk activities which can expose her to STDS, the STD that can cause cervical cancer, and HIV.

Third, new house rules. No boys in her bedroom. No one over when you are not home. His parents have to be home when she goes over there. They or you have to pick her up and drive her back. They can watch tv or play videogames in a room where you and your husband can supervise them, and they are siitting not prone. I would also make her leave her cellphone in the kitchen after 9 PM. No communication with her friends on the computer after 9 or 10 either either. Set parental controls on the computer and cable/satellite/dish. Hire a college age kid to set me up because they know how the younger kids get around the controls.

As for your husband.lying to him is not going to help your marriage or your daughter. This is a wake up call for the both of you, your daughter is of the age where hormones are running wild and she is engaging in behaviors that a risky. Expect tobacco, alcohol, and drugs. You two need to provide a united unified front, because if she senses she can do the divide and conquer game she will do it.

To find out what is happening between her and the boyfriend, check her social media accounts, e-mail, texts, and voicemails. Check the history on the computer, too.

What was Easter day like for you as a child?

I remember going to church with our Easter dresses and the patent leather shoes with the lacey socks. Afterwards we would go home and Mother would prepare for the trip to Floresville. The huge Easter baskets were tucked away in the trunk of our 1964 baby blue Fairlane along with the food that we were to take down there with us.Floresville was a bit of a drive. It took forever to drive there. Now I can’t believe it’s only 36 miles or so. We would spend Easter Sunday with my Aunt Nina and her boys over there. Aunt Nina was a grass widow at that time. We would celebrate our Easter with them. Dad would grill the steaks, chicken and sausage, Mother would prepare the potato salad and pinto beans, she would bake a cake and decorate it with green colored coconut flakes and top it off with egg shape jelly beans and she would also make banana pudding. Such a feast that was laid out for our Easter dinner.Afterwards we had our Easter egg hunt and we gather all of our eggs. Count to see if we were the egg king or queen. We used to feed hard boiled eggs to the family and stray dogs that wander on the property.Aunt Nina had geese, ducks and chickens. When my mother baked cakes she would always make sure that she had duck eggs. The geese, how I love those geese. There was one goose that was an ornrey bird. I mean that bird was grumpy. I remember that goose chasing anyone that wasn’t my auntie and her boys. I LOVE being chased by that bird, the rush! I was never so alive as when that bird was chasing me. It was better than that Easter basket. Laughing,my father would yell at me that I was going be bitten but for that moment I felt as if I was the daughter of Mercury with winged feet. I never got bit by that goose. It was a long and enjoyable day. When we drove home that night, we would be lulled to sleep by the drive on that long dusty road and the bright Texas stars up above. The car windows rolled down to catch the spring breeze. We kids would huddle close together to keep warm. Our white socks were stained a rusty color because of orange sand. You can be sure that when we would get home we would be bathe and our socks and underwear would be soaking in a bleach solution to get them snowy white again. As we drift off to sleep in our warm beds, we can hear Mother and Daddy unpacking the car. Tomorrow is a school day. Monday, the worst day of the week. That was what Easter was when I was growing up.

How do i remove food coloring from shoes?

Use sponge with water by lightly stroking it outward from the center of the stained area. Spray a cleansing agent on the stain before applying a wet spotter and some drops of vinegar. You don't need other types of vinegar except the white one because white does not stain. You will need an absorbent pad to spot blots, so make sure that you dampen the pad with a wet spotter. It is important to keep the stain moist with vinegar and wet spotter. It is time to flush the stained material with water if you see that there is no more stain which can be blotted. Flushing, in this case, refers to the method of applying a stain remover to let the straining materials loose.

Help me out...Dress code for a fancy restaurant?

Good question!

If you're not sure about jeans, then don't wear them and opt for dress pants instead. As far as the shirt & tie go, a pattern almost always looks good, but make sure your dark blue base doesn't look odd with the black.

If you can stand it, don't roll up your sleeves unless when you arrive, the dress turns out to be a little more casual than what you end up wearing. However, if you eat like a caveman (which isn't likely since you're asking about dress codes) do roll up the sleeves and avoid the stains on the cuffs. :)

My motto is if I'm not sure, go one notch up. I've never once regretted being slightly overdressed because I can always take it down a bit, but I've wanted to crawl into a hole when I've underestimated a dress code.

Is blood a good wood stain?

“Good”? For a time, I made part of my living repairing and restoring antique wooden furniture. Many pieces were over 100 years old. Nearly every piece required some sort of stain or coloring to match the finish of the repaired or resurfaced part to the rest of the piece. I used all manner of things to achieve these matches. Among them, oils, shoe polish, easter egg dye, bleach, food coloring, ashes, Kool-Aid, various inks and markers, chalk powder mixed with tung or linseed oil, or shellac, vegetable juices, (beet juice is a potent pigment) and commercial wood stains as well. It is pretty widely known and experienced that blood creates stains that are difficult or even impossible to remove. Good is a relative term, so my answer is perhaps. Blood could impart exactly the color one required and sought for many woodworking projects. As with any stain or coloring agent, there will be issues to figure out and work through. I recommend you sort these out on practice pieces before going for it on your actual project. Certainly, different bloods, ie: chicken, pig, beef, human, etc. would have different hues and effects. Many artists use blood as their medium for painting on canvas and such.

Could I use food coloring to tie-dye my shoes?

Tide to go pen and leather?

Please, Please Please do not go anywhere near it with egg White unless you want an even bigger mess.
If your bag is made from a coated leather then the stain may be removable with a good foam leather cleaner.
If your bag is made of an absorbent leather (aniline style) then I'm afraid that the stain may be permanent as the Stain remover will have soaked into the leather.

As the product will have soaked into the leather from the 'suede' side of the leather this will have made it all the more absorbent. If in doubt consult a leather specialist with some photos before doing anything
