Help! Prom is coming and I have a sunburn!?
About four days ago I got a very bad sunburn on my cheek/chin. It blistered and now the skin in red, hard and almost feels like a giant scab. It also cracks when I stretch the skin around it. What should I do?! Prom is coming up in a week and a half and I need this ugly thing gone! Right now I'm using aloe Vera (the real plant, not the gel). I heard this is best but it is staining my "sunburn scab" yellowish-brownish. Is this normal? How long should it take to heal? Thank you so so much!

ok. euecerin (at walgreens) has a moisturizer that's "calming" and meant for rosacea, which makes skin incredibly sensitive and very red. the moisturizer is soothing and shouldnt further irritate your skin, and it has a green tint that helps cancel out the red in your face. Honestly, I think you're out of luck. Five days isn't much. The most intensive treatment you can get is a body peel. Your skin just can not recover that quickly. The best advice I can give you is to go to the store and find the highest percentage of salicylic acid wash to wash your back with. One of those body brushes should help you get back there. The other thing to do is go into a spa and get a bacial, preferably with a pumpkin glycolic peel. Find someone who uses Head2Toe Pumpkin Peel. It's the lightest peel you can get without risking too much redness or irriation from peeling when you're so close to your prom. I'm confident that pumpkin will be your best option as it will brighten the skin. It probably will not get rid of all of it, but it will help lessen it. You've just waited too long for a quick fix. Oh and by the way, tanning is not going to help you. It will not clear up the pimples and it will only make your skin worse after burning. Even if you tried to darken your skin to hide it, you could not get a suitable tan safely in this short a period of time. If anything, go get some Fake Bake from a professional beauty supply store and have someone help you apply it to your back for the next five days.
Prom+Sunburn=Bad Plz help?
The best thing to do is constantly use lotion between now and then! Use both aloe vera gel and normal body lotion (one with aloe in it if you can find it) I swear, it works! I was on vacation a few weeks ago and got burnt badly, but i covered myself in loton 24/7, and my burn disappeared and faded to a tan in about 2 days. Just alternate between the two lotions, try to put them on as often as possible, all over your burnt areas, especially before bed and after showering. And try to stay out of the sun as much as possible untill your skin has totalyl healed. Your skin just needs moisture at this point, and this is the best way i know of to give your skin that moisture. Hope this helps! :)
How long will these sunburn scabs last?
There's really nothing you can do other than let your skin go through the healing process which varies according to your skin type, your overall health, and how much damage was done. Your body will heal itself in time. You might try some aloe, which helps with burns. I'm thinking this was an accident and you don't intentionally lay out in the sun to the point where you get second degree burns.
How long will my sunburn take to peel?
Okay, so last wednesday I burnt my back real bad, and it was sore for atleast four days! Now (monday) or early tuesday.. it has been peeling really bad all day. I wouldnt normally mind. But next wednesday is my school prom. How long will it take for my skin to peel? I am really worried!

I have pale skin, freckles, sensitive skin, and I easily get sunburn. I was outside with my sunglasses on, and a few hours later, my cheek and eyes started to swell up. My mom had shrimp earlier, and I am allergic. My family thought I had an allergic reaction, and they took me to the hospital. They didn't do much, but I took Benadryl and I still am. My sister mentioned that it may be sunburn, and my eyes are dry, and red, and it feels like sunburn. How long do you think it will last if I'm taking Benadryl?
What do people usually do after prom?
What I did after Prom was go back to my house and change my clothes to sweats and a t-shirt. Then we went to the beach -- just him and I -- and stood there for maybe 15 minutes. I then made him carry me back to the car from the beach. He dropped me (I think on purpose, and not playfully) onto the sand; keep in mind this was my high school boyfriend, and I was all of 100 lbs at the time.[1] It was a relief to finally break up with him... Then he drove me to my house and I endured his car with no AC for the fourth trip in total that day, and that was that. You decide whatever happens after prom. Hopefully yours will be more romantic and magical than mine, but fear not, if it's just like mine was (or worse) you're young and will have many better and more romantical moments awaiting you in the future. Probably with people who won't drop you on purpose cause they don't think your jokes are funny. Just sayin'. Oh, and people renting hotel rooms for just them, well, they're probably making whoopee. Thinking about a spray tan for prom?
So prom is next saturday, and Im considering getting a spray tan. I got sunburned on my shoulders a few weeks ago fishing.. And well my shoulders are nice and tan but my back is.. WHITE! lol .So I was thinking about a getting a spray tan, just a clear coat one from the versaspa. Will the clear coat be able to give me a little tan? And thats all I want, is a little tan and a nice glow for prom. This is my very FIRST spray tan. When should I get it done? I hear I should get it done the day before, or even a week before! Which is best though? Will the tan will get on my dress and clothes? And do yall any advice for me? Thanks
