Help Surely This Isn

English question: "will surely be" or "will be surely"?

Which is correct, "It will be surely better" or "It will surely be better"?
Is there any difference in meaning?

And what about when using progressive or passive form?
I will be surely coming back
I will surely be coming back
I will be surely astonished
I will surely be astonished

How do you say "surely" in Japanese?

Both "tashikani" and "kitto" are correct.
Although "tashikani" means "definitely" and "kitto" means "should be" or "probably".

In English the word surely can be use for speaker himself or someone who he is talking about.

For instance, "I surely knew it" is "watashiwa tashikani shitteita"
This sentence means "I definitely knew it". Because speaker knows about himself better than anybody else.
On the other hand, "He surely knew it" is "karewa kitto shitteita"( he probably knew it) in Japanese, because the speaker can not be 100% sure if he knew it or not.

Did it make sense?

ok. i found this in the international version of the bible:
1- For I and my people have been sold for destruction and slaughter and annihilation (7 3:4)
2-you will surely come to ruin!" 14 While they were still talking with him, the king's eunuchs arrived and hurried Haman away to the banquet Esther had prepared. (6 13:14)
3- "A gallows seventy-five feet [b] high stands by Haman's house. He had it made for Mordecai, who spoke up to help the king." (7 9)
4-What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself? (6 6)
5-Hang him on it!" 10 So they hanged Haman on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's fury subsided. ( 6 10)

by the way, i'm atheist. and i was the first one to find them and help u.

If Evil is the absence of God, then surely God is not omnipresent, not in all things and is instead absent?

A Jehovah's Witness and adamant literalistic believer of the Bible teachings once told me, in support of the anti-atheist argument, a story about Albert Einstein and his apparent humiliation of his atheist science teacher. The teacher claimed that if God created everything then he also created evil and was therefore evil himself - deductive logic perhaps. But Einstein responded with a few questions that eventually belittled him. He began with: is there such a thing as evil? To which the teacher answered 'yes' and gave example. Einstein asked a series of others like: 'is there such a thing as cold?' but then explained no there isn't as cold is merely the absence of heat. 'Is there such a thing as darkness?" no, because darkness is the absence of light. Einstein than apparently suggested that evil does not exist because evil is simply is the absence of God...
My JW friend was very satisfied with this 'evidence' of Einstein fighting in the creationist corner.
Personally I doubt that Einstein actually had this conversation, because he is considered one of the smartest men in history (having formed the basis of many scientific and mathematical theorem used today) and this argument makes no sense - hence the question, I want to see what others think about it.

Will walking for one hour a day help me reduce weight?

It depends on the diet that you consume, the pace with which you walk, your weight etc.Ideally, if you are walking at normal walking speed (4.5 Kmph) for an hour, you'll cover 4.5 kms which means you will burn around 300 calories which is as good as running for 15-20 minutes. at speed of 7+But if your weight is more, say over 100 KG, you will burn more calories whereas if your weight is less, say <60 KGs, you'll burn much lesser calories. I have explained the situation in which your weight is 85 KGs.Also, to lose weight, losing calories isn't enough, you need to make sure you don't consume more than usual diet so that the calories are actually reduced. Suppose you burn 300 calories one day and consume 400 extra calories than your usual diet, you will not lose any weight but its good for maintaining the weight and avoid increasing it. If you stay on balanced diet, avoid fastfood, soda, chocolates etc (calories rich fatty food) you can easily lose weight by 1 hour of walking each day. The impact will be shown on weighing machine in two weeks. (should lose around 1-1.5 KG ideally)

OK. I cannot find deoderant here in Japan. Surely people here use something as they smell great! What is it?

Japanese deodorant isn't all that great! But there are many Brazilian supermarkets in Japan that sell good deodorants and if you don't have one in your area, here is one for example where you can order online and they deliver it to your house and you pay at delivery.
