Last night, I heard 3 knocks on my bathroom door. Before that, I've heard something walking around upstairs when I was alone in the house. Could this be a demon?
No not a demon. They come straight for you. You may have a spirit. If it's just knocking right now. It may not be malevolent.It may just trying to get your attention. If it gets worse. Like things being thrown around. Or you actually see it.Call a good medium, right away. Check them out first. There alot of phonies out there.Meantime you can get sage, open your window in each room, your going to need help from your friends. You must do this in every room. You will turn north, south, east and west. With your sage lit. As you turn, repeat the same phrase. In the name of Jesus Christ. Leave my house.As soon as you give this command it must leave. Why you need help, it may go to another room.Make sure you have someone there who has faith in Jesus Christ. When your finished.. Wait ten minutes or so, close your windows.Put Penny's on all the window sills and above all doors. Salt above your windows and doors. All entrances. You don't want to do this until you know it's truly gone. Or you will be locking it in.You definitely don't want that. So wait a couple days before you salt anything or the pennys. Could there possibly be a ghost in my bathroom?
Rather than assume a ghost, which is always possible but not always necessary, I would have someone who knows what to look for check the wiring in the house as well as specifically in the bathroom. A poor ground tied into the home's plumbing is one example of what might cause the sensations. Another possible source is that the plumbing itself is producing an unusually strong magnetic field. This is uncommon, but not unheard of, and can cause what you are describing. As for it being unusually cold, is the bathroom as well insulated as the rest of the house, or is there a vent open to the outside that is letting the heat out faster? Your comment about the light switch leads me to suspect the electrical will prove to be a large part of the problem though.
I think there's a ghost in my room?
I have quite a lot of experience on this matter. It really depends on how far you want to go to find out if there is actually a ghost or poltergeist in your home? First thing is to think objectively, what i mean is rule out as much as possible. Check windows, see if the door closes itself anyway, check for pranks. Next, put objects on a bit of paper and draw around them. Then " i would really appreciate if you could move any of the objects on this bit of paper, i'm leaving the room now but if you could move something then i'd really appreciate it". Then leave for ten minutes or so and dont let anyone in. If anything has moved then it's clear that you have some activity there. Don't panic, spirits can be moved on by preists if you need them to. Most spirits aren't evil, i'm certain that you'd know by now if you had an evil spirit. You can try speaking to it politely and nicely which usually really helps to raise the atmosphere, of course it's scary as it isn't something that you'd be used to but i promise it'll make you feel better about living there. Is it bad the have my bed next to my door?
It's not bad. But I think Feng Shui evolved for some serious reasons. If you have your head next to the door (bathroom door), you can really hear it each time someone goes to the bathroom in the night, and that can disturb your sleep. There may be drafts coming from the door which could affect your health. It just makes sense to put your head and ears as far from the door as possible. But some rooms, that just isn't possible. So use common sense and make the best arrangement you can.
What should I do when I see a ghost?
If you see a ghost just try to relax. If you are afraid or if it is touching you and you want it to stop just say, “God help me.” This will work. Trust your faith. When I first began seeing spirits I was very young. My parents didn’t believe me, so I learned to deal with it on my own. As I had more experience with them I could actually feel a presence coming before I saw it. I could also feel if they were nice or angry. When you see a movie where the person is walking around and saying they feel a presence that’s actually a thing - you do feel the spirit near. Some part of your body will start to tingle and then you feel everything you felt when the spirit was in your presence some time earlier if this isn’t your first experience. Once you have a lot of experience you see more and more spirits and you can hear spirits in the distance - that whispering sound in movies is also a thing - so spirits do travel together even if only one reveals themself to you. I was young when a friend passed. He said he saw spirits so we made a pact that if he died he would come back to see me. Unfortunately he died of phenomena and he did come and see me! I was terrified because he was a clown and he didn’t disappoint haha! He woke me up by hitting my headboard - always nice though - the nicest kid! I guess I saw him in my dream and he showed me how they cut his clothes to fit them on him in the casket - I never knew they didn’t actually dress you - he visited me many times and I always felt a peace in that space with him. My cats have all visited me after they passed on - the most rewarding and special of all visits in my opinion. I actually had a spirit warn me once about something that was about to happen to me that I survived but for the grace of god and this woman. Don’t be afraid when you see spirits - 99% of them are good - not demons! Maybe they are drawn to you for some reason. I can tell you that I am totally comfortable with the end of my like - when that time comes I won’t be afraid, so I guess that’s something! Maybe spirits are like us - they saw spirits when they were alive who helped them and now they are returning the favor! Also, you can block them if you don’t want to see them - you just begin ignoring them like you would anyone else!
SOMEBODY MOVED MY TV REMOTE. HELP PLEASE! (ghost)?
I've carried my remote with me, just being absent-minded and distracted, before. As for the cold water, if you go to turn it off and leave, you might have thought it was all the way off. My bathroom sink is that way, very tempermental, but only time to time. (Poltergeists are supposed to be afraid of the water, so I've read, fwiw.) The other possibility is someone has a copy of your key and is playing tricks on you! I had that happen, too! LOL! Do yourself a favor. They've got these key chains for keys. You have to whistle, and it will "whistle back" so you can find your lost keys. Only thing is, it's difficult to whistle when you're stressed, so you want to have a penny whistle in your drawer (safe from ghosts!). Get one and attach it (velcro?) to your remote, so next time it comes up missing, you'll know where it is.... even if it's in the hands of the person who's playing a very nasty joke on you! PS What were you watching on t.v.? Was it something scary that put you in this mood? Ya know the whole 'don't drink alone' thing? Don't watch scary movies alone, either!
Wierd things happening in the bathroom a lot?
It's likely a ghost in some sort. But it doesnt harm you, so that's a good thing. I used to have the same issue in my old house, there was always something weird going on like things dissapearing and reappering, foot step noises, voices, name calling, objects being moved, seeing stuff. It's kind of scary. And in the place I live now weird things still go on like a light randomly breaking and scratches, and just weird stuff like that. but yeah, you're likely have a ghost in there.
Can U debunk a ghost theory? Can a faucet turn on by itself?
My bathroom faucet turned on three times by itself in the last 2 weeks that I am aware of. The first two times I heard it go on all by itself. I was right outside the bathroom door so I know no one was in there. I went into the bathroom and turned it off. It was the cold water that was on full blast. First time was 1am the second was at 9am? I asked my brother who is a plumber and he said it is not possible for that happen. I am on a private well so he said cannot be due to water pressure. The third time it happened my husband heard it. He said he heard thumping (like walking) toward the bathroom in the middle of the night, then he heard the water turn on. He went back to sleep with out investigating. But in the morning the water wasn't on. I am holding out for a mechanical reason. Help me debunk a ghoslty conclusion.
