Im quite underweight but im going to 2 parties this week they're one day apart from eachother so im not overeating 2 days in a row, but will i gain weight from this? please no stupid answers thanks

Underweight yet Overeating?

Well, first of all it doesn't really matter that you're underweight in the first place, unless you like want to get back to "normal" weight... When is it that you're overeating? After you eat, do you eat snacks? Of course, everyone gains a pound or two and loses it again, and I think that's whats happening to you. Just don't worry about it, well try to eat only main meals, and just forget about it. IF you think the problem is persisting, then get to a dietitian or doctor...

EDIT:: If your BMI's 18, that's like normal. Just eat healthy, and exercise!

Well i was anorexic...still underweight but now im binge eating!!! help?

If you're anorexic you might consider that you aren't eating too much. A friend from school was/is anorexic and always said she was eating "SO MUCH!!!" but really she was eating a little less than what normal people eat. You are still underweight and should be eating healthy meals. I think there is a certain number of calories a person is supposed to eat per day. Google that. And your face is probably breaking out due to stress, or if the foods you're eating have a lot of grease or sugar in them. And the reason you might feel compelled to eat more is because you're stressed. I hope you get healthy and start feeling better. Maybe you should make an appointment with a doctor? Or a nutritionist? Good luck.

How can I gain weight without eating too much?

If you don't workout or swim or play some game outside.. better start doing. Now first and foremost your food what you eat and in proper intervals.Beakfast : It should be like king heavy enough so that it makes you energetic day long. For eg. Same as lunch.Have a glass of milk half an hour before bed.Tip : Water is very essential and drink almost 3 to 4 liters a day..Start it with this dite plan and slowly increase in your meal i.e calorie intake.

I've been really overeating for the last month.help!?

1. dont bank on the words 'fast','easy','simple' & 'quick'....to stay safe, you shoudnt lose beyond 3 pounds of fat per week

2. start brisk walking 40-60mins a day...get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring..or if you are at a gym, experiment all forms of
cardio available and stick to all that you like

3. drink only water,100% natural/fresh fruit/veggie juices, lowfat milk and lots of green tea

4. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well..make sure you eat a good breakfast!foods generally that aid fat loss-
fruits, oatmeal, milk, raw nuts, fish, beans, veggies, small chunks of dark chocolate and herbal teas.

5. do adequate amounts of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your cardio, make slight adjustments to your workout routines
every 2 or 3 weeks to avoid plateaus

6. be smart when eating out or at events/functions(such as preparing your own meal & eating in advance)

7. dont trust myths like "no food after 7pm"...you have to stay nourished to lose fat,..the best you can do if you are scared to eat is perhaps
drink a glass of ice chocolate lowfat milk mixed with a tsp of instant softened oatmeal...

8. Always push yourself n never give up!but get enough rest too...Stay focused on your goal and God bless you...

Underweight, 16, bmi 15.8, always hungry?

If your body is telling you that you are hungry then it is not getting enough. I suggest not thinking about it and not thinking about the future and what it might hold weightwise. That sounds like you are still recovering. Get rid of those scales and don't even look to see if you have gained. Just eat and make each bite count calorie and nutritious wise. Nuts and peanut butter and dried fruits are great, make a shake and load in all the goodies, avacado is great, adding in butter and laden on the sauces. bread and potato offer extra calories and add on things like cheeses, sourcream, etc. Also a hunk of cheese, with some peanut butter on bread is a great snack. You can drink juices instead of just plain water or milk. You are quite underweight. I am underweight and I am 16.6 BMI, but I haven't suffered from an eating disorder since I was much younger. I am 38 years old- almost 39 and I am still very thin. It didn't change my metabolism to be eating more. I eat all the time actually and still don't gain. I would however make sure everything checks out ok with your absorbtion and that you don't have any other problems.

Is it possible to have binge eating disorder and yet be underweight?

Yes it is possible. I developed binge eating disorder when I had BMI of under 17. My binge eating is caused by restrictive dieting and denying my body of essential calories and macros. It is very possible to develop binge eating disorder at any weight (under, normal, or over weight). For most of us binge eating is caused by restrictive dieting and the act of binge eating is simply the body's survival mode reaction to protect us from "famine". If you want to learn more about my own story of binge eating:If you find yourself or your friends not just bing eat but also follow the binge eating with not eating, extreme low calorie intake, or long hours of exercise, it is also a form of bulimia which happened to myself. To stop bing eating, I recommend you check out intuitive eating and brain over binge. Both helped me cure my binge eating. For some tips to stop binge eating disorder or bulimia:Tips for stopping binge eating disorderHopefully this helps and good luck. Remember if I could do it, you can!
