I wanna move out but im only 14!?
If things are really bad at home with your parents, you should try to go to therapy together first. If that doesn't work and you really really need to move out, you can be emancipated from your parents through the government. This means that you will live on your own and you will be supporting yourself. Otherwise, the only way that you can be free from your parents is to wait until your 18 and they are no longer liable or responsible for you. Good Luck.

Dont tell me im to young . I want to go live with my boyfriend who is sixteen . His mom already said I could. Im getting a Job and soon getting my permit. The reason I want to move out is because my parnets keep moving around . and im so tired of moving around all the time . Also I cant take my parents anymore . They always tell me things to feel bad about myself ..and some other things I dont want to say . But im completly miserable . I can take that . I just dont want to move anymore;and i love my boyfriend and hes the only thing good in my life. My parents always say I cant wait till your 18 to move out. Then I tell them I want to move out when im 16 They always get all mad at me and they say they will never sign the papers. Im going to wait till im sixteen most likely ..but were moving in may . That would mean i would have to move four hours back down the state in december when I turn sixteen .How can I move out without them signing papers??Also im quite mature for my age

Hey everyone, I'm 16 (Ill be 17 in 3 months), and for a few years now I have felt the need to get out of my house. Before I start, I don't want anyone to think I'm just some rebel teen that wants to leave so she can go party. I'm not like that. I'm in accelerated classes, I make straight A's, and I don't drink or party or anything like that. Anyway, a little of the background. My sister moved out with no problem about 6 years ago at 16. My mom has gotten a little stricter though, and I'm afraid she won't let me go that easy. I have a job, and I pay for my own car (which is NOT in her name). The only thing they pay for for me is my cell phone bill, which is not a problem getting switched. My mom has a drinking problem too. Get this, I had to drop my step dad off at 12:15, on fathers day, at the bar, because he didn't want her to drive home because she was drunk. (She would have if he would've let her) . She is not physically abusive to me, but she is mentally abusive when she's drunk. I have a little sister that is 9 also. She's the baby, and she is treated fine, and I have a feeling when she's old enough to realize how they are she'll want to leave too. I've read into the emancipation thing. I'm not sure how that would work. I live in Illinois. What would happen if I just left? (I would move in to my step-grandpa's house, where my sister used to live, but at the time my grandma was still alive.) Any help? :/ Let me know if you have ANY questions or need any more detail! The age of majority in all states in the US is at least 18. You cannot enter into a legal rental contract before that age unless you are emancipated (as recognized by a court). At 17, you may be able to rent someplace IF your guardian signs off on it. At 17, you >may< be able to rent a room, but I know that I wouldn't want the legal liability involved with that. I don't need to be sued by your parents or arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
I wanna move out but my mom guilt trips me, what should i do?
i'm turning 21 soon and i dropped out of college 2 years ago. anyways i'm at that point where i need my space and my mom shoots me down every time i try to talk to her. she ask me, who's gonna help me cut the grass, fix my car, maintain the house? i have 3 older siblings but they moved out and left me do deal with the house. money is not a problem. i already have a decent job and might pick up another job just to be safe.
