How do you tell what a dream means?

To interpret a dream, we must first analyze it;
-what key details seemed most prominent;
-which elements seemed most important;
-which parts do you remember best;
-what parts seemed "brighter," stood out more..;
Whether events or objects, we can here research. There are a few ways to find out what these elements of your dream mean. There are a few books out, claiming to be "Dream Dictionaries." These help with researching the meaning of a few details; ex: being chased, jets. There are also websites specializing in interpretation; www.dreammoods.com is my favourite, you simply type in the object or event which seems prominent, and a probable answer will come up, but keep in mind that dreams are always important, and will almost always mean something;; whether important or barely affecting you. but some dreams will change the way you see everything in your life, affect the way you think.. affect what you do and how you do it. A dream is your imagination coming out to play and running into your subconconsience, on its way to tell you something *usually significant.* But keep in mind that these resources, online or in a book, are meerly just suggestions, and do not at all represent what your dreams may actually mean or how you should go about interpreting them. Your dreams are pulled from your life experiences, your thoughts, your subconsience (sp?) and the best way to figure out what your dream may mean is to tap into your memories and things that have happened to you, or things you may have done or thought. Usually, to figure out if a dream is significant or not, you see how much you remember of it. If you wake up not remembering that you dreamt anything, your dreams are usually insignificant. If you have a dream where you awake and suddenly the whole way you look at things is altared, you know it may be an Epic Dream, significant and important.. forwarning or reminding.

Question answered: What does it mean when a guy says sweet dreams to a girl?This is a classic sign that a guy not only likes you, but he wants you to know it.He’s saying “sweet dreams” because he intends to have some sweet dreams himself - dreams about the two of you being together as a couple.The expression “sweet dreams” is a very romantic gesture coming from a guy. This is a very sweet way of telling you how much he cares for you.Relish the moment. He’s getting you ready to be asked out on a date and he’s being very charming about it too.This guy is the romantic type. He’s the type of guy who will bring you flowers and write poems for you. He’ll send you loving text messages as you get to know him better too.Cherish this guy - he’s part of a dying breed of men and your girlfriends will envy you when the two of you become an established couple.Congratulations!

Car crash dream..what does this mean?

Assuming you haven't been in a serious accident and you're not doing something stupid like driving drunk, then the suggestions that you stop driving or that this is a dream about auto safety are absurdly literal.

The fact that you had the same motif two nights in a row, and the situation was more dire in the second dream makes me think this is a pretty urgent message from your subconscious. The common theme that strikes me besides car wrecks is responsibility, or lack of it. In the first dream your driving and attitude are irresponsible. In the second dream your actions are not irresponsible but someone else takes responsibility for the situation, and your going along with it is irresponsible. Mothers are really loaded images and you don't tell us anything about your relationship with your mother (and if she's alive), so we could be missing all kinds of nuances here. Assuming a healthy relationship with your mother, it seems likely that she represents maturity in your dream. Also consider how you use the words "wreck" and "car wreck". I've heard all kinds of negative things, such as bad relationships, called "wrecks" and "car wrecks". Put those two things together and the dreams could be saying that 1) your irresponsible, immature self/attitudes/behavior are putting you in danger of a wreck in some aspect of your life, be it job, relationship, family, whatever; and 2) your mature self is ready to take charge ("get in the driver's seat"), even though that might seem outrageous or illogical to the immature self.

Another twist on this is that the mother figure could be seen as overfunctioning. It could be your own mother is overfunctioning in your life, not letting you develop as an adult, or maybe your own motherly instincts/behaviors are overfunctioning. It's a common theme for women especially that being too involved in nurturing makes their lives unbalanced.

I have these Dreams...
That I die; It's seems like everyone is out to get me...
I either jump off a building, shoot myself or someone else or either they shoot me, I wake up to find my friends and other loved one's dead on the floor right next to me...
Sometimes I see myself get killed, usually...
I say good bye to everyone I know and even don't know...
They are confused yet in pain but I see some of them laugh at my death...yet I don't know them...
I am used to these dreams...
If it is a Nightmare I usually remember it fully...
If it is a dream...I don't quite remember it but do feel the feeling of it's tragical apperance...
