Help Which Of These Thesis Statements Is The Best

Can someone help me write a thesis statement?

To write a thesis first follow these basic key pointsAnswer the QuestionOmit “I think” or “I believe”Avoid listing reasons (no “because”)Thesis goes in the introducing paragraph. For example, if you were to be asked the question “Who is the most important person in your life?” You thesis would be “The most important person in my life is my dad.” But that’s just basic. To have it advanced without using the world because you use acknowledge the opposition. Acknowledging your opposition is basically what it says, use a counter claim in your thesis.Again if you were to use the acknowledge your opposition, you would consider these few stepsIf you are talking with your parents, and you tell them that your dad is the most important person in your life, what might your mom have to say about that?If your mom argues against you, she is your opposition. You have to state your thesis in a way that shows your mom you’re not just forgetting about her...that you’ve considered her as an option, but your dad is just more important. So your advanced thesis would like “Although my mom is incredibly important to me, my dad is the most important person in my life.”Hope this helped!!

When writing a thesis statement, you need to make sure that you use words that connect your ideas (though, however). These words will help your reader understand your position.

Can someone help write a thesis statement?

A thesis statement focuses your ideas into one or two sentences. It should present the topic of your paper and also make a comment about your position in relation to the topic. Your thesis statement should tell your reader what the paper is about and also help guide your writing and keep your argument focused. First, analyze your primary sources. Look for tension, interest, ambiguity, controversy, and/or complication. Does the author contradict himself or herself? Is a point made and later reversed? What are the deeper implications of the author's argument? Figuring out the way to one or more of these questions, or to related questions, will put you on the path to developing a working thesis. Once you have a working thesis, write it down. There is nothing as frustrating as hitting on a great idea for a thesis, then forgetting it when you lose concentration. And by writing down your thesis you will be forced to think of it clearly, logically, and concisely. You probably will not be able to write out a final-draft version of your thesis the first time you try, but you'll get yourself on the right track by writing down what you have. Keep your thesis prominent in your introduction. A good, standard place for your thesis statement is at the end of an introductory paragraph, especially in shorter essays. Readers are used to finding theses there, so they automatically pay more attention when they read the last sentence of your introduction. Although this is not required in all academic essays, it is a good rule of thumb. Anticipate the counterarguments. Once you have a working thesis, you should think about what might be said against it. This will help you to refine your thesis, and it will also make you think of the arguments that you'll need to refute later on in your essay. If you need any thesis making tips and guides means contact our writing company. Essay Writing Help: How do I write a thesis statement and to have strong support on my essay writing skills?

Your thesis is your opinion on the topic. This means that you need to know enough about the topic to have a reasonable opinion. It also means that you need to find a reasonable slice of the topic, not too big and not too narrow. Example of too narrow:  Albany is the capital of New York state.   (It's a fact. There is nothing to argue about that.) Example of too broad: New York City should secede from the United Stated. (This would take a lot of explanation as to what benefits there would be for for the city for this to happen...much too long for the average 500-1000 word essay.) Maybe about right: The Halal Guys in New York have a surprising sucess story because they started with one food cart and now are selling franchises across the country.  (This one would give some history of the company and explain why this is surprising. The idea comes from a story on NPR. ) The support is the reasons that you hold your opinion. In the case above, the opinion is that the success story is a surprise. It is surprising because a small business (a food cart owned by two brothers) rarely is able to go nationwide in that model  and because the company used their own culturally-based food rather than food Americans are familiar with. Thanks for A2A.

7 I disliked American history in high school, but I like it in college.

8 Drunken drivers, whose perception and coordination are impaired, should receive mandatory suspensions of their licenses.

9 Business is a good major for many students.

10 The state’s lenient divorce laws undermine the institution of marriage, which is fundamental to our culture, and they should certainly be made stricter for couples who have children.

I need help writing a thesis statement on acting?

Well you can say that acting is the most versatile profession where you can refine yourself.
Acting is not only about getting into a role but discovering the realms of one's imagination.
In true sense of the word acting is discovering oneself.
Acting not only sharpens one's imagination but also helps to understand others better.
When you get into a role of someone else you not only try to behave like them, but also try to think like them. This helps to understand the thinking process or mindset of that individual.
This is one of the biggest advantages of this profession.
No other profession give such insight into human behavior. But then again it is a matter of choice.
Choice which differentiates us from robots or artificial intelligence. It is these choices that decides what we are going to do.
Acting profession helps us to make choices better. Once you understand the consequence of a choice you can make decisions better.
And with a good imagination you can have an insight into the consequences.
Thus acting makes us a perfect individual.
Shakespeare said "This world is a stage and all of us are just Actors".
It certainly shows how acting is a part of our lives.
For example a person working in an office acts in a different way when he is with his boss and in a different way when he is with his family.
This shows how acting is an integral part of our lives.

What is a good thesis statement on depression?

A thesis is basically a summary of your idea or main point you will make in your paper.Examples could be about:Depression’s effect on relationshipsCorrelations between depression and ______.Effective alternative treatments to depressionI personally went through a major depressive episode, based on the diagnosis of “severe adjustment depression” when my entire immediate world I knew changed within a few months.During this time, I ignored many warning signs, thinking I’d look like a “pansy” if I went for counseling for “minor issues” as I thought they were (largely based on others’ opinions anyway).Eventually, my therapist had suggested I may not have needed medication if I had come in for counseling and support sooner. So I would be intrigued to know if there was any correlation to the severity of depression and the time spent before treatment. I would also want to know if the necessity of medication to treat depression was higher, lower, or the same, in those who sought help early and those who waited. This would need some heavy research, but the results would allow me to construct my thesis - “Early diagnosis of depression suggests a lesser need for drug-based intervention” (provided my research showed this).I would then defend this statement by offering examples and proof of this claim, as well as offering potential counter-claims and how I’ve addressed them.I hope this helps you, as a thesis (especially one for a dissertation) has to be one you believe in, otherwise your panel will know.

Are any of these good thesis statements for my research paper? Which one is better? 10 points for Best Answer?

You should explain your opinion in the second sentence or use a semi colon. For example, you could change it to:

Companies should have the right to know the kind of employees they have working for them and the condition they're in. It can effect the way the an employee works, not only by himself but with other people.

Or you could change it to:

Companies should have the right to know the kind of employees they have working for them and the condition they're in; it can effect the way the an employee works, not only by himself but with other people.
