Help With A Question On Simplifying

Can anyone help me answer these questions about simplifying and evaluating radicals?

All radicals are just fractional exponents.

√4 = ²√4 = 4¹'² = 2
³√8 = 8¹'³ = 2
⁴√81 = 81¹'⁴ = 3

sometimes the fraction in the exponent is not 1/n:

7²'³ = ³√7² = ³√49
3⁵'³ = ³√3⁵ = 3√243

A root taken to a power is the same as the root of a base taken to a power:

(³√5)⁷ = ³√5⁷

Finally, remember some simple properties of exponents:

x⁵x² = x⁽⁵⁺²⁾ = x⁷

x⁵/x² = x⁽⁵⁻²⁾ = x³

(x/y)¹'² = x¹'²/y¹'²
√(x/y) = (√x)/(√y)

(x³)² = x⁽³ˣ²⁾ = x⁶

given (32x⁴/y⁸)¹'⁴

(32x⁴/y⁸)¹'⁴
(32x⁴)¹'⁴/(y⁸)¹'⁴
(2·16x⁴)¹'⁴/y⁸'⁴
(2)¹'⁴(16x⁴)¹'⁴/y²
2(2)¹'⁴·x⁴'⁴/y²
2(⁴√2·x)/y²

(a student can easily reach this last result in only two steps)

Help simplifying this problem?

-5(2a - 3) = -10a +15

you distribute
-5 multiply 2a = -10a
then -5 multiply -3 = 15
so

-10a + 15

answer is d

Can you help me with this easy simplifying question please?

(x + 5)* - x( x + 3)" - 7x + 4
So you really mean

(x + 5)^3 - x( x + 3)^2 - 7x + 4

(x+5)^3 = (x+5)(x+5)^2 = (x+5)(x^2 + 10x + 25) = x^3 + 10x^2 + 25x + 5x^2 + 50x + 125 = x^3 + 15x^2 + 75x + 125

x(x+3)^2 = x(x^2 + 6x + 9) = x^3 + 6x^2 + 9x

(x + 5)^3 - x( x + 3)^2 - 7x + 4 = x^3 + 15x^2 + 75x + 125 - (x^3 + 6x^2 + 9x) - 7x + 4
= 9x^2 + 59x + 129

Calculus help in simplifying?

Yes, you need to factor out the smallest power which in this case is x^-1/17 and the coefficient 1/17:

1/17 * x^-1/17 [16 - 17 x^34/17]

= 1/17 * x^-1/17 [ 16 - 17 x^2]

This is different from what you say the answer is, so I am guessing you integrated or differentiated incorrectly. I am sure that the answer I have is the factored form of your work. You can check, by distributing back through.

Help! Easy surd simplification question?

√250 = 5√10
√200 = 10√2
√128 = 8√2
√40 = 2√10

the expression becomes: 2·5√10 + 5·10√2 - 8√2 + 4·2√10 =
18√10 + 42√2 = (18√5 + 42)·√2

Please help me guys....

Would an ERP on Cloud help in simplifying the implementation of an ERP system?

The answer is yes, the installation is technically much easier/seamless. You would only need to provide an internet connection, high speeds are typically not required, and devices to access the internet. The big questions that do not need to be solved (as these are already answered) are:How do I manage and update my servers [that run the ERP software]?How do I manage ERP server failure? (i.e. Backups and backup systems)How do I keep the software up-to-date?Do I need to hire (and train) extra IT personnel to manage the server and the software?Bonus:Meaningful remote support. The support team can provide live assistance and tech support could issue fixes remotely. If there are issues with a local installation, then a person familiar with the specific installation can only provide support, while at the same time a cloud platform in it's essence is the same [version] for every company. It's important to undestand that the major issues in implementation are exactly the same as with local installations. In it's essence a professional fully functional cloud based ERP (SaaS) provides the same functionality as any local installation. The main problem, as usually, is people. In another thread Yuwan Effendi pointed out the following following pitfalls:"Lack of resources and expertise""Lack of sponsorship and commitment.""[...] implementation without C level commitment as it is doomed to fail.""Then change management and lack of it does not give any urgency for change.""Finally - it's poorly analysed requirements and use case definitionsresulting in the wrong product being selected."To enforce these points. A case study on a failed SAP installation, the lessons apply to every ERP implementation: Courtroom lessons from a failed SAP ERP implementation

Simplifying Algebraic Fractions Questions? Please help!?

I'm really stuck on these questions, you don't have to answer them all, just as many as you can, it would really help me because I have maths homework, and do not really understand how I'm supposed to so this :(
A number in speech marks means 'to the power of' for example, a"4" means a to the power of 4.
Thanks!

Simplify:

Q1) 10a-15/25a+35

Q2) 12a-8/15a-10

Q3) x"2"-x-20/x"2"-8x+15

Q4) x"2"-5x-14/x"2"-x-6

Q5) 3a"3"c"2"/5ac x 2a/3c"3"

Q6) 6a"5"c/5ac"4" x 4a"3"/9ac"4"

Q7) 4a"3"/15ac x 2a"3"c"2"/3c"3"

Q8) 10c"3"c"2"/3ac"2" x 5d"3"/7cd"2"

Thanks in advance, if you could explain a bit how to work it out that would help me so much, I have a GCSE in November on this and I have no idea what I'm doing!

Thanks again :)
