Cole Haan high-end brand?

I want to know where does Cole Haan stands as a brand. Is it a high-street brand such as Ralph Lauren etc, or low like Nine West? To what brands would it be compared to?

I would like to start my own Video Arcade business for tweens and up. I'm not sure where to start..?

I need help auditioning for princess jasmine. Can I do this song?

I read the first sentence you wrote--that's it. The answer is NO. Do NOT sing a song from "Wicked" for an audition. That show musical theatre suicide because it's morbidly OVERDONE. No one wants to hear it. Not only that, but it does not reflect the style of "Aladdin" or the character of Jasmine. You are doing yourself a disservice because there are so many other GREAT musical theatre songs that you could totally ROCK, and not bore the judges. Oh, and while I'm at it, do NOT sing "On My Own" from "Les Miserables". That is just as bad. Your goal is to STAND OUT. You won't do that with "Wicked". You MUST be new to auditioning if you want to sing such a terrible audition song. Here are some songs that suit a feisty mezzo-soprano. Some are more overdone than others, but any are a breath of fresh air to the directors after suffering through the same songs over and over.

Astonishing - Little Women
Gee, I'm Glad I'm No One Else But Me - Anne of Green Gables
Glad That You Were Born - Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Happily Ever After - Once Upon a Mattress
I Never Want to Go Home Again - Gigi
In This Wide, Wide World - Gigi
I'll Show Him - Anne of Green Gables
I've Got the Sun - Annie Get Your Gun
One Man - Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
So in Love - Kiss Me Kate
The Facts - Anne of Green Gables

My daughter wants to be a clothes designer when she grows up - can someone point us in the right direction?

First of all, it's great that you're supportive of her - fashion is not always the first choice of a career for parents (it definitely wasn't for mine!) Depending on how old she is, there are different things you may want to look into. Look into the fashion industry, and make sure she understands that being a designer isn't all about pretty dresses and high heels. Oftentimes, the glamorization of fashion on TV and magazines can give the wrong impression of what the industry is really like to young girls. If she truly wants to be a fashion designer, here are some things you will want to do:Draw. Find an art teacher - a fashion teacher if possible, but not necessary. Fundamental drawing skills and especially figure drawing is great practice and is essential for any designer.Sew. If you know how to sew, this will be much easier, but if not, try and find someone who can teach your daughter how to sew. If that's impossible, then learn along with her! It's not difficult. Start with patterns that you can buy at Jo-Ann Fabrics or online. Photoshop/Illustrator. This is a very important skill that many aspiring designers neglect to learn while younger. The more practice you get, the better. College. There are actually a number of fashion design programs in the US, but the best schools for fashion design are the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New School (Parsons). You will need to show a portfolio, so she needs to be prepared to have work to show. I hope this helped give you some ideas on how to prepare for the fashion industry!
