When I try to speak English, words don't come out right. How can I speak fluent English?

Most likely you are afraid of making a mistake.I suffered the same in learning Spanish, and I see it as one of the greatest obstacles for my English students. One of my students recently told me he was in a store and wanted to ask in English, "What is the price of this item?" He planned it out perfectly in his mind, walked up to the attendent, and said "wutprsths?" When the attendent (obviously) did not understand, so my student just said "price," and got the answer he needed.Often we may say "I don't mind making mistakes, I know no one is going to throw tomatoes at me" but deep inside we feel that it is something terrible to speak poorly, and so are terrified of saying something wrong. As a result we overthink what we are trying to say, analyzing the grammar and syntax instead of just pouring forth concepts. This makes speaking very awkward. This can even happen when you are alone, speaking to yourself, because you constantly doubt if what you said is correct (I speak from experience)!Polygot Sid Efromovich points out that we are trained from youth to shun the feeling of having done something wrong, but in learning languages we must seek it, because that means we are crossing into new territory and learning. (See the video below, 29:00)When you are writing you can take time to think about how words should be organized - you cannot while speaking. So you just have to go for it. Spit the words out, and if they are wrong, that's OK. One successful English learner told me that making mistakes was the best learning tool, because he was so embarrased he remembered the correction!From my own experience and research and watching others, I believe the only solution to your problem is to listen to and speak a lot of English. It has to be a natural process that you don't think about, which will only come with lots of practice - as with any skill, from baseball to piano playing to speaking.

Help on getting a saddle pad to fit right? (English)?

go about business as usual, putting on saddle pad, half pad, and then saddle. Then go to the withers and pull UP on both of the saddle pads, lifting it UP into the pommel.
Also do the same in the back, pushing the pads into the space in the saddle (in between the tree,

Basically, you have to lift and push the pad into that space so it doesn't touch his spine at all, but instead puts pressure on the sides of his back.

good luck!

EDIT: look for the thinnest pads you can because with the mattes pad and a thick pad it puts too much pressure on their shoulders, so look for thin pads, that have "raised withers" like in your picture, as opposed to ones like this:

shaped pads will make it easier to get it off the withers!

I need help on English! 10 Points to best answer (Just checking my answer)?

Regarding the first question:

All the verbs in a compound predicate have the same subject. That a predicate can be compound has nothing to do with the question at hand. The answer is not A.

There are many things that share the same verb -- elements of a compound subject, direct and indirect objects. This really has nothing to do with the question at hand. The answer is not B.

The word "independent" in the phrase "independent clause" indicates that it does not need to be connected with anything else. An independent clause can stand alone as a complete sentence. Since the question at hand mentions both independent and dependent clauses, the answer is not D. But, hey, at least you picked an answer that has something to do with the question at hand.

Answer C seems to be missing a word. In spite of that, it still looks like the right answer. A clause is a combination of a subject and a predicate. Every predicate contains a verb. Therefore, every clause contains a subject and a verb -- and (because of compounds) possibly more than one of each. It doesn't matter whether the clause is dependent or independent.

Regarding the second question:

It's not the dependent clause that can stand as a sentence on its own. The independent clause has that property. The answer is not A.

A dependent clause is often led by a subordinating conjunction. I suppose that the conjunction might be considered an introductory word. The answer could be B.

There's nothing that prevents a dependent clause from having a compound subject or a compound verb. For example, "This is the book that John and Mary gave me" has the compound "John and Mary" as the subject of a dependent clause. The answer is not C.

When considered on its own, it's the independent clause that is not a sentence fragment. Of course, a dependent clause that is properly a part of a matrix clause is also not a sentence fragment. However, answering D would mean that independent clauses can be sentence fragments, and that simply isn't true. The answer is not D.

I don't like the way that answer B is worded, but it is the only proposed answer that is not definitely wrong.

Help on Chemistry problem/check if my answer is right?

Incorrect. The four quantum numbers n, l, m_l and m_s break down as follows;

n = principal energy level, starts at 1
l = sublevel (s orbital, p orbitals, etc), starts at 0
m_l = orbital (for example, the p-sublevel has 3 mutually orthogonal dumbell-shaped orbitals). m_l ranges from -l to +l
m_s = magnetic spin (+/- 1/2), which denotes the particular electron located in the orbital.

m = -1 means that m_l must range from at least -1 to +1, which means there must be at least three orbitals. (c) p orbital is close, because it only has 3, but it does have three. (d) s orbital is correct, because it only contains one orbital. Any s-orbital must have m = 0, but any higher orbital can conceivably have m = -1.
