Help! Fantasy story title ideas?

I'm writing a fantasy story about a girl (Ember) from our world who gets trapped in a magical kingdom and finds out she is the lost princess of the kingdom. I have no idea what to call it. Need help?

How do you come up with fantasy story ideas?

This is my go-to answer:"Sometimes the best way to generate new ideas is to go out and learn something."- Bill WatersonThis works for all all kinds of different things. Personally, I find a lot of inspiration for stories and general imaginings from the natural world. Those huge DK  portrait-style photography books are great to flip through. There are plenty of animals that look like mythical beasts. There are amazing geographic locations that look like a fanstical lost worlds, etc. Go to your local library and pull some encyclopedias off the shelf and set some time aside to read and learn about something.

Fantasy story ideas, please help?

"Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it."
— C.S. Lewis

Writing a story isn't about ideas and the like; it's about having a story within you that you want to tell. If you want to tell a story about someone going into another world then start writing a story about someone going into another world. Tell how they got there, what they experienced and what happened when they got there. Don't think about it; feel the story that you want to tell. Sit down and use Notepad (not Microsoft Word) and just start writing. Start at the beginning and when you come to the end of the story, stop. Then look at what you've created and read over it and ask yourself, 'Is this the story that -I- want to tell everyone?' Not just your friends or family, but EVERYONE. Every man, woman and child that walks into the bookstore or sees your story online--is this the story that I want them to hear?

That is how you write and that is where you will find your plot.

P.S. To those who said, 'Plagiarism' if you did something like Alice in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland is in the public domain. That means that if you want to write a re-imagining of Wonderland you are legally more than welcome to do so. A lot of folks are doing it now, but as C.S. Lewis said, if you write a story without caring about originality or how many times its been told you will more than likely create something original.

P.P.S. My name is Eric Hamilton. If you write a best-seller because of my advice, send me a message; I'd love to know when to buy a copy of your book.

I need fantasy story plot ideas and i think you can help?

now I'm a writer, i like to write stuff that has to do with stuff with things that only happens in horror films. you know, vampires and werewolves, Zombies, stuff like that. so my question is, do any of you have any basic story plots that i could expand on to write a good story that i could possibly publish on a website? please, im in a writers block and if i end up publishing the story based off your plot ideas, i will dedicate the book to you.

What should I do if I have a phenomenal fantasy book/story idea? I have the plot and idea, but have average writing skills and no resources.

There are all sorts of resources online- so there’s part of your problem solved right away! :) If you have a phenomenal idea, start working it out. I like to start by writing down the general plot, then expanding the details until I feel I have enough information to start the book. Then, go from there!Read a lot, if you can (good books, mind).. It will help improve your vocabulary and give you a feel for quality writing. Find a writer’s forum and hopefully some beta readers with it so you can get tips and opinions as you go- but do be careful about sharing your full ideas with others. It’s not uncommon for people to steal ideas before you’re finished writing them.At any rate, don’t let average writing skills stop you. Use this idea as a chance to get better. Or, if you really don’t want to go through with the effort, maybe look for a ghost-writer who won’t mind writing your story.

Romance/Fantasy story ideas!!?

Try getting into the supernatual side of things. There seems to be a fair amount of "fallen angel" stories coming out now. I'd really like to see a story about demons. There are so many different levels of demons it could't be too hard to find an approprite kind to fit your story. I started one once, but i have to leave it till another time when i'm ready to write it out... and once i think of a plot to match my characters.

But yeah! otherwise, just hybrid some already known species. Like someone else said, try a were-breed of person, but they don't transform into a wolf. Maybe they could be a were...horse. And turn into a horse at full moon. Or else, a story involving gods is always cool. But don't go for the traditional Greek gods. I think a story involving Egyptian gods or African gods would be awesome. Or Norse gods! Oh! What power!!

Haha, anyway.
Good luck with your writing! hope you find a kick-a*ss plot soon!

I have an idea for a fantasy story, should I write a novel or a comic?

Just in case Marcos' answer, which is very good, isn't quite enough to help you decide, I offer the following:Are you an experienced writer? The reason I ask is because although there are some skills that all storytellers have in common, comics and novels are very different in some extremely important ways. It is possible that even if you don't have a lot of experience, you could create something really wonderful, and I strongly encourage you do pursue this idea you have. But, I think you will need to put some serious thought into the advantages and disadvantages of both forms. Split a page in half (or use two sheets of paper): one for the novel, and one for the comic. Then start thinking of all the positives with respect to what you, personally, could do as a writer with each form. Then reverse your thinking and consider where you'll need assistance or what skills you'll need to learn or partners/contractors you might have to hire and what the going rate is for those various things. If you intend to attract a partner for your project, you should look at how other people manage to do that and look at sample contracts that include what happens if one or more parties decides they no longer want to proceed. Again, I encourage you to follow your dream. One way to make a dream reality is to break down what is a pretty big task into smaller steps, and figure out what you can do and what you have to learn or hire out. Hopefully that will help you make your decision. Also, bear in mind that you can do one first and and the other second. There are plenty of stories that are told in both forms.

Can you give me a wolf-fantasy story idea?

Aloha! I lovelovelovelooooove to write. In fact, I'm writing a book right now. Since I am writing a book, I am writing about the same characters, following my plotline, etc. However, I want to take a break from that and write a short story about something else that I love: wolves.
I have heard of the game "Okami". I know it's about a goddess who takes the form of a wolf and...I think takes out bad guys :B I don't know much, but I've seen a lot of pictures of Okami on DeviantART since I have an account on that site.
I am inspired to write a short story about a wolf, like Okami..
Already, I realize I've said something wrong :P
What I mean is I want to write about a fantasy-wolf, but not Okami. It'd be a totally different plotline and character nor would it be fanfiction. She wouldn't even look like Okami. Still, the story would definitely be fantasy.

So, it'd be awesome if you guys could give me some ideas with a female wolf that's totally fantasy :3 Thanks guys!!!! :D
