How I Met Your Mother hands downThe first time I watched HIMYM I thought it was the best show ever to be made.Upon the completion of the 9th season I cried literally cried. Then I got obsessed with the show.I searched and download my favorite scene on YouTube, shared many beautiful quotes with my friends and had a show thememd wallpaper collection.A few weeks later I saw people on the internet comparing HIMYM to Friends. “how could they compare a masterpiece to some lousy sitcom” I thought (before watching Friends)I downloaded Friends and started watching it. I was hooked right from the beginning.The comedy was awesome, the actors' performance was spectacular. I nearly watched a whole season everyday. My parents started to ask why I spent too much time on the laptop.After finishing the show that's when it hit me. Could Friends actually be better than HIMYM?Am I doubting my favorite show? Have I failed the test?I had to watch HIMYM again. It was no big deal as I intended to do saw right after I finished it the first but needed sometime to collect my thoughts on the show.I watched it again. With every scene I laughed again but a little less but when it came to the serious moments that really count, I cried just the same and I got shaken just the same.I understood what the show was really about. It wasn't about a father telling his kids the funny stories of his adulthood to make them laugh.No, the show teacher us how to live by putting the characters in every situation you could face as a human and shows you how to deal with them.Moral of the story:Friends: pictures a perfect life between a group of friends that will break your rib cage from laughing.HIMYM: Teaches you what life's all about.
Based on popularity and general love for comedy, is Big Bang Theory better than Friends?
I would definitely say F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Never in my life had I watched an single English sitcom. One my senior colleagues in previous organization used to have a F.R.I.E.N.D.S wallpaper on his laptop all the time and it never changed. He was and is still at the top position in management. Was really intrigued to find out why this affiliation towards the SITCOM, so I walked up to his desk and asked why do you have this wallpaper on your laptop from the PAST 2 years, I haven't seen it change. He replied "it's part of my life now and I want my best memories to stay with me for as long as possible" So I decided to give F.R.I.E.N.D.S a try by watching few clippings on YouTube and 'boy o boy' I got insistently hooked onto it and started watched Season 1 and I went bonkers. Read this in your mind in a High pitched exited voice "Oh my god, what's going on, did I just discover a new world altogether" I was on Seventh heaven. Never did I imagine a TV series would make so happy and appreciate life. So after season 1 I knew this is something different. So I binge watched season 2 to season 10 and finished it within 3 months. I couldn't get enough so I created my own re-run and watched it again from season 1 to season 10 and never got bored!!! Eventually I stumbled upon 'The Big Bang Theory' and guess what I started Loving TBBT too characters were replaced with- Rachel with Penny - Ross with Sheldon - Joey with Howard - Chandler with Leonard - Monica with Bernadette &- Phoeobe with Raj and Amy I wished it was a time loop. But this time I could only binge watch 3 seasons. I got hooked and later followed up with season 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Now waiting for 9. I eventually returned to F.R.I.E.N.D.S again! After working for 6 years on the last day before leaving I gifted him a 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S' picture and Framed it for him and thanked him for introducing me to it. It's at his desk now and this picture is at my desk now - Note: Oh did I forget to mention that I started to watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S 20 years after it was aired in the year 2014 ")

I’ve just spent some time rewatching the series, and there are some scenes where a body double was used together with split screen. e.g. Season 5 episode 13 - The One with Joey’s Bag.This is split screenThis is a body double (shot from the back) dressed as PhoebeAnd the body double dressed as Ursula (from the back)It’s easier to find a member of the crew about the same height and hair color and just dress her for these back shots than bluescreening it.
