Help on microsoft word? please?
i need to know how to make an "upperscore". or at least, how to make a line so that i can write something like 9/25 divided by 3/7. so i want to make it look like a fraction divided by a fraction. 9/25 ______ 3/7 i just dont want the extra space in between. does that make sense? hope so. and thanks ever so much!

Hope this helps. From the Word 2007 Help Menu: On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Protect Document, and then click Restrict Formatting and Editing. In the Protect Document task pane, click Stop Protection. If you assigned a password to help protect the document, in the Unprotect Document dialog box, type the password. Select the parts of the document that you want to be unrestricted. For example, select a block of paragraphs, a heading, a sentence, or a word. Do one of the following: To allow anyone who opens the document to edit the part that you selected, select the Everyone check box in the Groups list.
Help with Microsoft Word?
If you can, check through the paperwork that came in the box from Dell. There should have been a Microsoft Office CD in there. That's the CD to use to repair or reinstall Office. The files you're looking for are considered "proofing" tools, and are used by all Office applications (so don't look for them specifically under Word). Good luck.
Dafont.com and Microsoft Word? Help needed!?
I have a Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Word 2003. I have downloaded the "Jane Austen" font from dafont.com and unzipped it. The only problems is, I'm having trouble bringing the font up on Word. I went to the Microsoft website and it said for my operating system to go to Control Panel>Fonts> and then File>Install New Font. This is where I'm having trouble. I can't find the "Jane Austen" font anywhere. It looks like the "Install New Font" option will only try to find fonts in the c: drive, and not the C: drive. Is there a difference? Can anyone please help out with the font installation?

You might try this one. This should work in any Windows word processor, text editor, browser or email client. 1. Make sure your keyboard is in NumLock mode. 2. Hold down the ALT key and enter 241 (±) on the numeric keypad. (Note that many laptops have a blue FN key that changes a set of keys, also with blue numbers on them, into a numeric keypad.) A couple ways to get arrows. 1. In bar above select "Insert" then "Symbol". Scroll down until you find the arrow you want. 2. From "Drawing" toolbar (get to it by selecting "View" > "Toolbars" > "Drawing"), select "Auto Shapes" and "Block Arrows".
