Help on middle name for Wesley?

I think that Wesley Cole Trace is a little to much for a name. You can always save Cole for another child. I think that Wesley Trace sounds great and it is an honor for your father and brother. It is a family name so I love the idea of using it for your son. If you wanted to maybe switch around the names. Call him Cole for a first name and Wesley-Trace (Trace-Wesley) for the middle name

What is the use of middle name(s)? How many middle names can one have? Is one addressed using middle name?

There are several reasons that parents give children middle names. Off the top of my head . . .It gives the child two names to choose from. Many people who dislike their given names use their middle names instead. It helps to avoid confusion, if two people share the same first and last name.Using myself as an example, I went through school with another girl who had my exact same first and last name, and was in my same grade. We had many of the same teachers. The fact that we had different middle names was the only way the school had of keeping our academic records straight. It gives parents a way of honoring relatives.Parents can honor Uncle Ethelbert by naming their child Jacob Ethelbert Smith, even though they realize that “Ethelbert” is a silly name that no child should ever be saddled with. It’s a win-win. Uncle Ethelbert is happy. The child will still be called “Jacob” by everyone who knows him.It gives parents a way to preserve family heritage. In some U.S. subcultures, it is common for parents to use the wife’s family name as a child’s middle name.A child can have as many middle names as the parents want to give it. It’s not unusual in German-speaking countries for people to have more than one; my German-ancestry grandfather had two middle names. As to how people with middle names are addressed, you should call them whatever they like to be called. Most people are addressed by their first names only, and don’t use their middle names at all.William Joseph could be called “William” or “Bill.”Some people use both of their names.William Joseph could be called “Billy Joe.”Some people use their middle names only, and don’t use their first names at all.William Joseph could be called “Joseph” or “Joe.”

Can you help me find a great middle name for myself?

I don’t know if I’m familiar enough with these to pick something out of that list, but I can give some thoughts. My middle name is the name my mother would have given me if I’d been assigned female at birth. My unshortened first name is my grandmother’s. So those sorts of things can be ideas. When I’m naming characters, I care mostly about the syllabic emphasis that the names have. The way that I’m reading your name, it seems to be following a dactylic form (STRESSED, unstressed, unstressed), so if that’s the case, a three-syllable name with the middle syllable stressed would be ideal if you want your full name to be easy and somewhat poetic to say. On the other hand, if you don’t, then avoid that instead!
