Help with my tattoo idea?
I have 3 main ideas for you: A red rose with thorns tattoo, a swan tattoo, and a senorita Dia de los Muertos face tattoo. I like the skull with the rose tattoo idea, but it might come across as rather morbid to other people. A wild red rose with thorns is a good choice because it represents something beautiful, but imperfect. You can get cut by a rose by the thorns, but its beauty is still there, even if you get cut. When talking about people who are very attractive, but has character flaws, the saying is "Every rose has its thorns". In essence, no matter how attractive someone is, they will always have imperfections. So a wild red rose symbolizes the duality of beauty and imperfection. A swan, like a butterfly, represents metamorphosis from something ugly (an ugly duckling) into something beautiful and elegant. The symbolism is obvious- out of the worse case situation, there is always something good that can come out of it. It is also symbolic of trials, tribulations, and overcoming obstacles, as well as a representation of outer beauty that comes from within (the ugly duckling, although sweet and innocent, looked unattractive on the outside. But after the metamorphosis, it became as beautiful on the outside as it was on the inside. The Dia de los Muertos Senorita face tattoo represents beauty and elegance, even in the state of death. Like the Mexicans see death in a positive and almost humorous way, so does a tattoo of Dia de los Muertos Senorita represents seeing both people, the world, and events in a positive uplifting way, even in the most unlikely circumstances. so i promised myself id get a tattoo once i know what i really want and once im ready. and i am! i just cant find the right words. ive been looking for a tattoo for more than a year now.and im SURE i want to write something on my neck.. i was thinking beatles lyrics since im like a fanatic or something very inspiring to me.. but i just cant find anything. it would be very helpful of you guys if you could just write down some meaningful quotes i can think about. (no rude comments about this please i know a tattoo is going to be on my skin forever and i shouldn't be using anyone's opinion but ill think about this for another year maybe so please just help! maybe ill jump into better ideas by looking at yours.) another tattoo i was thinking about is a moon, cz my name "Amar" means moon in Arabic. ive seen pictures of the moon with the sleeping fairy on it which really caught my eye..just wanna know if any artists out there would like to draw me something and email it to me or whatever =) that would be great and appreciative..thanks alot. and sorry for wasting your time. xx

im also a beatles fan and have been considering a beatles tattoo myself. a blackbird sounds like a good idea, though i do agree with ^^^^ about the placement, the back of your shoulder would look so much better and wouldnt harm your chances for certain jobs in the furture. you could get a yellow submarine, which im sure most people do or get portraits done but i think the more creative the idea the better. watch the antimated music videos of them and get inspired, thats what i did. im not sharing my idea bc i want to be the one and only but im sure you yourself could do better than just getting a black bird or sub. good luck. well are you a guy or a girl? do you want flowing script or an industrial looking font? hollow or solid color? the possibilites are endless best idea for finding the font you want is to search the free font sites and browse the fonts. they have thousands to look through from very whimsy to very rough looking

Tattoo ideas! Memorial for my grandfather.?
What was his favourite pastime, did he enjoy gardening-do his favourite flower with his name on the edge of a leaf, if he was religious-ornate cross with his name under it, did he have birds or fish or other animal hobbies. Whatever his favourite hobby was, pick something from that and put his name under it. Or you really dont need his name, as long as you know who the tat honors. There are some great chinese style wood block prints of things like grandfathers walking or sitting with a child that look really sweet. It doesnt have to look like him, as long as you know who it represents. My father is still a big part of my life so i honor him with each and every tattoo i have, he was a fisherman, and whenever he came home from a trip he would bring my mother home some shells that had come up in the nets, and he would bring me dried seahorses that used to come up curled in the nets that would unfortunately die before he could get them off, so he would lay them out flat and dry them. The boat would pull into a different town so dad would stop by a jewellers and get them, gold, silver or resin coated for me, i still have every last one he gave me. All my tattoos are seahorses, even tho they all celebrate other events in my life, birth of children and so forth, he is still a big part of everything that happens to me. What ever you get done doesnt have to make immediate sense as to who they are for, as long as you know. They can be as abstract or as precise as you like.

first off i wanna say nice sock marks lol,and lots could be done to it,color it in add on to it,out line it in darker colors,and if you simply don't like it get it covered up.i've been doing lots of cover ups lately,i wish people would stop wasting there money and choose their ink better,the girls getting all the stars,they'll regret it soon enough,i have a couple behind my right ear,i love them but i don't see them very often.so talk to your artist,and have fun changing it,make sure you like the changes or it will be a cover up soon enough,and you don't want to do that.
