Help With Smartphone Music

Does virus destroy sd card in a smartphone?

well first off my guess is that it would have depended on the apps that you downloaded . if you downloaded a bunch of crappy games to your phone well then dig a grave for your smartphone and write '' R.I.P my smartphone ''. and for you music, i think that it would depend on the app that you used to download all your songs. but if you used the following apps that are safe : sound hound, shazam, music hub,and iTunes ( if you own a iphone that is ) .
photos: well if you used the main camera app then its fine . but if you downloaded a app that is an attachment to your camera then it can do some bugs to you phone. and if you downloaded a separate app that takes pictures then you are more than screwed . ( instagram doesn't count )
now here are my tips on how to keep your smartphone on top shape .
1. you have to restart your smartphone ever 3 days . this will eliminate the current apps that are running on your phone and it will improve you smartphone from a **** hole .
2.keep a watch on the apps that your using . if there is an app that your not using that much then delete it . its just a waist of space .
3. all ways ALL WAY keep a good amount of free space on your phone. between 1gb and 500 mb ( my suggestion) . and yes phones do have ram as well. and if you have a lower memory on your SD card then do it like this . keep the 80% used up and the 20% free space .
3. good protection is a good way to clean you phone . this is what i highly recommend you : avast anti virus the one that in using . lookout i highly recommend to you . it is good but if you like paying a yearly feed ( which is 20 dollars per year , as i remember it .and AVG mobile is not so bad as well .
and finally the 4th: if you what safe apps then download the ones that are editors chose . those are the ones that are safe .and only download apps that are developed by big companies. they are safe as well . this is all i got . now do what as i say and you will have no trouble on your SD card and your smart phone .

Is downloading free music to your smartphone illegal?

it's like shoplifting, a lot of people do it, but it IS illegal.
free music is all ways illegal, unless you have permission from the artist.
Sometimes, artists will give away a song or 2, on their own site, for promo.
sometimes, companies will give away a free song or 2, as a prize etc,
those are legal, because they make a deal with the label and pay the copyright laws.

but any site that just gives away music, without permission, is illegal.

Want to play music from phone in 2001 Xterra, but no aux jack?

This car was made before the advent of the smartphone, so it has a 6-disc CD changer (it doesn't even work) and a functional radio. Now, I want to be able to plug my phone into the car like everybody else and I'm afraid I have to just buy a new stereo thingy for the car! I've seen some that just have single CD function and radio, plus the aux jack, that are totally in my price range. BUT they are too small to fit in the space in the dash! Is there a kit or something I can buy to make whatever player I buy fit in there right? It's a 2001 Nissan Xterra. I don't know what to search for; I'm lost! I guess what I'm trying to ask is this: 1) Is there a way to play music from the phone through the car speakers without a new stereo thing? (No USB or other jack, just straight CD and radio); and 2) Upon buying the new thingy, what is the other thingy called that makes the stereo fit in the dashboard? And where can I find one for my Nissan?
Thanks!!!!

Does the Honor 7X support 8D music?

Hi, thanks for A2A.Actually 8D music is not a correct term. The correct term is ‘Ambisonic Audio’. The corresponding audio format is ‘.caf’ file. This file is not still supported by Android. As of now, Google’s latest version Oreo 8.1 does not have this format. So, there is no audio player to play this type of audio. Take a look here. So, you cannot play 8D music or Ambisonic music in Honor 7x or any other flagship even from Google. It takes time to support this .caf file in android.Hope it helps!

How do I transfer music from phone with otg to mp3 player?

The majority of MP3 players work like bare USB flash drives (“mass storage devices”) when attached to a USB host so you can probably use some file explorer application to just copy the music files if these are not DRM-ed and given you know where are they stored on your phone. You may also have to convert the files to MP3 if they are in AAC or something and your MP3 player doesn’t support the format, AFAIK there are some Android apps that can do this available in the Google Play store. If your MP3 player isn’t MSD-compatible (doesn’t work the sae way USB flash drives do) you will probably need a special app (which doesn’t necessarily exist) that can talk to your MP3 player or you might try an alternative player firmware (e.g. Rockbox helps with old iPods).

Can I transfer MP3 files directly from my smartphone to an MP3 player via a USB cable?

If your smartphone supports USB Host mode, you can definitely do that with normal MP3 players that allow a copy-paste mode of synchronising music. Unfortunately iPods will not work so with just a USB connection. You can check if your phone can work that way by using an OTG cable and a normal FAT formatted USB thumb drive.

Do ALL smartphone apps work on ALL smartphones? Meaning that even iPhone apps work on other phones?

Well I don't have exactly straight answers and I'm only going by what I know myself as an iPhone user.

1/ The speed of mobile internet is dependent on the service provider of your data, not necessarily your smartphone

2/ I can speak from experience and the iPhone is very user friendly and easy to lean how to use. Another advantage to getting an iPhone is that there is information from a variety of sources on the internet EVERYWHERE about the device so if you're sometimes stuck, if you can't get help from an Apple store, you can always find the answer online. You won't find the same wealth of information and help for other smartphones due to the popularity of the iPhone

3/ It's subjective meaning it depends on you. Do you like to type using a touchscreen or physically touch the keys? IPhone is touch screen entirely but you have the ability to rotate the keyboard whereas with Blackberry you just physically use a QWERTY keyboard to type

4/ I don't know. My iPhone is pretty LOUD. I don't need it to be any louder or I may suffer ear drum damage

5/ The iPhone gets firmware updates all the time. However, if you want to jailbreak it like many of us iPhone users do, then it's not a good idea to update the software on the iPhone once you have jailbreaked it once already. Jailbreak means to hack the iPhone so you can download apps that are otherwise 'paid to download' for free. And yes it's LEGAL to jailbreak, and this is a feature that in my opinion, makes the iPhone stand out as the best amongst smartphones.

6/ I'm not sure but I think the iPhone supports more than one language. You may need to consult Google your friendly search engine

7/ NO, iPhone apps that are developed for purchase from the iTunes store can ONLY be obtained on an iPhone.

8/ Wi-fi is a wireless connection that your iPhone can connect to. Wi-fi is used commonly at home where someone who has their own wireless broadband internet can access it from their iPhone. It's not simple to explain. Ask WIKIPEDIA

9/ Bluetooth is used for transferring files between two phones. I don't know much of how it works. Ask Google or Wikipedia, again.

Do smartphone audio jacks have a frequency range? Can they play lossless music (FLAC) to it's fullest potential?

Yes, they have a frequency range. All audio equipment does. It’s wide enough to faithfully reproduce your music. Can they play FLAC files to their fullest potential? If you want to get all corksniffy about it then no, probably not, but then neither can your portable music player, or your portable earphones. If you really want to play your FLAC files to their fullest potential you’re going to need to stay home and invest some serious money in hi-fi equipment. Any time you’re listening to music on portable equipment you’re likely making compromises compared to static home listening gear. Any time you’re listening to music in a noisy environment- your car, public transport, an open-plan office, basically anywhere you’d use a portable player instead of a mains-powered static system- your listening experience is not going to be at its fullest potential. Can smartphones play FLAC files with enough quality that you can tell the difference between FLAC and lossy formats? Sure. Assuming a decent music player app (I use MediaMonkey on my phone, other excellent players are available), plugged in to a decent pair of earphones, plugged in to a decent pair of ears. Most people can’t tell the difference between high bitrate MP3 and FLAC…
