This was before cell phones were prevalnt circa 1994. As we were leaving I saw the bride crying hysterically. Later that evening I found out that the bestman, the groom and some of the other guys in the wedding party had died in a car crash the night before traveling from bar to bar celebrating. I am not saying they were driving drunk, I don’t know that. Plenty of people had designated drivers back then. I just remember being confused at first and later feeling terrible for the bride to be.
