Hey Guys Myself Deepak I Have Completed Diploma In Electronics And Communication Now I M Looking

Can I get a job after 3 years of completing B.Tech and no work experience?

Yes you can, you just have to be what industry calls “Job Ready” . You should attend short courses related to your field. I belong to IT so I can answer only for my field, but I am sure there are courses for other fields as well. See , You weren’t “free” during these three years, I am sure you were doing something, unless you were watching reruns of Game of Thrones ?Here is the thing, in IT, everything is a Sham. It’s a big scam going on here. What they teach you and they way it is taught in college doesn’t comes in exams and you end up writing some stuff that is best of your understanding about the subject. Then comes placement, they ask something you haven’t learned in four years of BE/ Btech . Then you go to Job and get trained on ‘something’, and you will learn that ‘the something’ that you learned was BS, there is new scenario everyday and you learn new things everyday. So what you did in those three years is up to you.If you wandered around or were just trying to get a job, then you were gaining life experience, if you were preparing for some exam than you were learning something. Don’t feel down and belittle your time just it does not fits the criteria of Society.I am not preaching, these are my life experience. Let me tell you something about my friends that were in similar situations, true stories, Rajiv - Guy didn’t got job even after 2 1/2 years of BE, did random jobs, tried many drives, no luck, he was about to give up than he decided to give it a last try, went to some elite institute (don’t know the name) got a job with starting salary 25k per month, but with sheer hard work and determination he climbed up ladder, in just in 2 years he has package more than his peers that got job just after their BE.My seniors, forgot the names , had 2 year backs, got job in Singapore, highest starting packages from my college.Moral of the story is , don’t let anyone tell you what can or can’t be done , if you want to get it done, then just get it done , end of story.

I am 25, not yet settled and depressed about my career. I have written a lot of competitive exams and failed in all the exams. What should I do?

Sadly… This is life. My mom always tells me that Life isnt a golden platter. Everyone has a bad phase in life and this is just your bad phase. the way it came, it’ll go as well.Let me tell you my story. A bachelor and Masters Degree from a Top B School in India. Second Masters degree from Abroad. I am still jobless. Everyday I see my friends as compared to whom I am way much smarter working in really good firms in Mumbai and Delhi. When I wake up and I see people getting dressed and leaving for Office, I feel someone is piercing my chest with a very sharp knife. But I am helpless. I have given nearly 150 job applications, 20 interviews but still at the last moment some shit happens and I lose it.When this Wasn’t enough, the Love of my life turned out to be a hopeless cheating loser. When I somehow managed to cope with these two sorrows, I lost a Family Member.Hence, I sometimes feel like screaming at God for doing so bad with me for no fault of mine. I believe that every human has an emotional threshold, which once crossed, we fall apart. This is life mate. Everywhere u see you will find injustice and unfairity but we have to live with it. I trust myself that academically I was Smart, hardworking and today the only problem is luck isn’t on my side. Its the same to you. Its just your bad phase and everything is gonna pass soon and you’ll see success in your career. You are just 25, you have a long way to go. To hell with all the negative minded people in your life. Don’t be very hard on yourself. Just have a little more patience. Trust me when I say this - “ONE DAY, EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY.”

How much has your salary increased from your first job to today?

June 2014 : 5 lpaNov 2015 - Present : 13.5 lpaI completed my graduation from VIT University in Computer Science stream . When I joined the college, I never really thought of the salary or the company I want to join. All I knew at that time was that there was 100% placements at VIT. So I was happy and carefree for the first 2 years. But as soon as I reached my 3rd year, I became a little serious about this stuff and gradually became more aware of the companies and their packages that came for recruitment. Finally the 4th year started with a bang. There were companies like Flipkart, eBay which came in the 1st week itself and their packages were more than 10 lpa. I couldn't get selected in those companies. A couple of months passed by and even after making to the final of 2–3 companies , I couldn't get selected. By October the companies which were coming were paying 4–6 lpa.In the first week of October I got selected in a startup and the salary was 5 lpa with a joining bonus of 50K. I cannot even describe that feeling. Though the package was less than I had anticipated earlier, I was happy to finally get a job offer. So finally I joined in December 2013 for internship in the same company at 15 k per month. In June 2014, they converted me full time and I was drawing somewhere near 37 k.Then came the appraisal season. The condition of the company was really bleak and it was going thorough a resource crunch. When I asked my seniors in the company about the hike, I was shocked to know that last year there was no hike for any employee. When my manager called me in his office for appraisal discussion, I went in with little hopes. To my surprise he told me that my package has been increased to 8.3 lpa. That was unbelievable for me. Though I was pretty hard working and sincere in my work, I never expected this much of a hike. The primary reason for this hike was that already a lot of employees had left the company. So the company wanted to retain the remaining employees.Till then I was working as a Java developer. But I had interest in Android programming. So around August I started to look for a job in Android development. After spending 1 month for interview preparation and giving the interview of 4 companies, I had offer from 2 well funded start-ups. One of them was offering me 15 lpa and the other 13.5 lpa + 1 lac joining bonus. I decided to go with the latter after my assessment of both the companies.

I have 65.3 percent in PCM and have already taken admission in SRM main campus. The eligibility is 70 percent. What should I do?

Being an SRM University pass out. I am telling you. If they really didn't stop to take admission. Its just a matter of showing off. I would say just being on safer side. Ask your seniors or you can move to some other campus. Its not a big deal if you don't match the criteria. I have seen people getting placed from SRM main campus. Even having live backlogs and all. But many of them were lucky too. They will always say things about checking and stuffs like that. But nothing happened at least when o was there. Even had a junior and was a very close friend of mine. He told me once that people used to pay him donations to take admission in main campus. What he actually told me, that SRM offers actually so many related courses or almost similar courses with different names for example even computer science engineering have 4 or 5 types of courses and what he used to do. He used to admit the student in one the courses which seats are actually not filled and used to take money from them. I would say, just to be sure ask them. I am betting you. They won't do anything. Best of luck.
