Anyone wanna help me with a few tax questions?
Hey people, I'm trying to get a few tax questions answered and yes I know I should ask a tax professional for a definitive answer. They're just way over priced where I live at, so hopefully I can at least get a step in the right direction with your answers. 1. I quit my job a month ago in pursuit to be self employed, & I'm 22 years old and a student. I plan on drop shipping, so would I qualify for tax breaks, since my income won't be guaranteed? Tax breaks like on mileage, shipping supplies, etc.? 2. Now that I'm self employed, how would I fill out my tax paperwork in the Spring, since I was employed and now I'm not? Would I need a tax guy to help me fill out different tax documents? 3. I've read on forums that drop shipping is something you don't need to report taxes on since it can't be tracked, but i'm not trying to work that way, I want to be straight with the IRS. How would I report my income, month by month once tax season comes around? FYI, I'm selling on Ebay. 4. And if I do qualify for tax breaks like mileage, and other stuff, how would they verify if it's legitimate? Would I have to keep a notebook of every trip with a description of what I'm doing? And how much of the mileage would I get back, along with other tax deductions? 5. And since I had my 401k with my previous employer, I've now transferred it into an IRA with TD Ameritrade. Will I need to fill out a tax document for that? That's really it, I hope I can get some help from you people, thanks!
How can one start solving dynamic programming problems?
Looking at most of the DP problems, they don't seem to be solve-able using DP on the first site! If you try to solve it by thinking it to be a DP problem, most likely you won't get it.Instead forget about DP, apply brute-force first! Then, you will most probably land into recursion. Congrats work is almost done :D Now, just see, if you are doing some work repetitively? Can you use some array or table to store value of the recursion calls to use it later? How many parameters are there in recursion call and can you do the memoisation now according to the number of parameters? Most likely, you will now get the problem and solve it :)Now, let's see how we should begin, if we don't know anything about DP :)First and most important part, take that CLRS book. Open its dynamic programming chapter, read it full and thoroughly understand it. Three basic DP problems- rod cutting, matrix chain multiplication and LCS are given in it. Understand completely how we have approached their solution, why this solution works etc., everything.Now, when you know the basic DP concepts, go to Algorithms GeeksforGeeks and see all the problems here. These are all the most common DP problems and almost every problem you will face, it would be the variation of these problems only.Now, you are done with collecting all your weapons, it's time for war :D Try to solve as many problems you can on online judges like spoj, codechef, hackerearth, hackerrank etc. A good start can be found here A2 Online Judge . Try solving from easiest ones to more difficult ones.First try your level best to solve a particular problem. Don't get disheartened if you are not able to solve any problem. After trying your best, search on internet for its solution, discuss with your peers, try to see how the problem is approached, why and how your thinking was wrong, how it has been solved etc. This is the only way to get better at competitive programming :)Repeat step 3 and 4 :DAll the best :)
Is there a time limit on getting my permit??????????????
my birthday is in march and i turned 15 1/2 on september the 15th i still haven't gotten my permit because i haven't had time i have been busy with school work and i need to study before i take it because my dads strict about me passing my first time so i was wondering if it expires? i have already done the training in school. i just have to go to the DMV and i don't have time.
Statefarm insurance question?
You just call whatever towing company you wish. State Farm does not call a towing company for you, nor do they recommend a towing company. State Farm will provide reimbursement for towing to the NEAREST LOCATION WHERE REPAIRS CAN BE MADE due to mechanical breakdown. You can have it towed anywhere you want, but only due to a mechanical breakdown, keep in mind, State Farm will only reimburse whatever is reasonable and customary... meaning if there are closer places where your vehicle could be repaired, State Farm will only reimburse what is "typical mileage and cost" for towing of the area where you reside. Example: You had your car towed 25 miles and there was 3 service stations where repairs could be made, State Farm will NOT reimburse the WHOLE bill, just a portion. You must pay the bill, save the receipt and take it to your state farm agent for them to reimburse the towing charge. Taxes (if applied to the bill) will NOT be eligible to be reimbursed.
Car insurance fronting?
Hello there I'm considering buying a car however I am getting car insurance quotes that are through the roof as I am a young driver and considered to be a risk for insurers. A mate of mine told me that I can reduce the cost by getting my dad to be main driver and me as named driver or second driver however I know this is fronting and illegal. My question is: if I was to do this, how will my insurers ever find out and what are the rules and regulations of second drivers in terms of how often they can use the car Thanks in advance
