Singapore is a costly city for expats. Since the standard of living is high in this country, it becomes expensive for foreigners.I am going to answer this question based on the findings I did during my recent visit a couple of months ago.Considering the price as of July 13, 2017 -> 1 SGD = Rs. 46.861.iPhone/MacBook - Both of them are slightly cheaper in Singapore.2. Nutella, or even a few chocolates are cheaper (If you buy it from Mustafa Centre)4. I had the opportunity to visit Bugis Street Market, so I can say, shopping is cheap from there. You can get trendy clothes in 5S$/10S$ price range. High-end brands shopping is nonetheless the same or may be even costlier.

Even if you tried to install WhatsApp with the same number on 2 or more devices, the app will ask you to choose only one device and will block the others.The way Google Drive backups work is the same. Although the backup files are registered on your Google account, they can only work with your (old) SIM number; thus, your new number won’t get the data. To avoid this in the future, it is better if you open the settings and change the WhatsApp number to your new number ,so your messages will transfer to the new number. None of your data will be lost, and you can cancel your old number without any issues.Now back to your question, what can you do now? First, try to call your old number to see if someone new got the number since telecom companies recycle old unused numbers. If someone replies, tell them the truth try to win their trust and use the SMS message to activate the account. Then change the WhatsApp number to your new number and thank them. If you are lucky enough that you called your old number and found it out of service (which means it was not used again yet), go to your old number telecom company and request the same phone number so that you can return your data. Hey I just landed from United States in Mumbai and here are the duty limits So Ideally you shouldn't exceed 45000 limit and you will be good to take the green channel. If you have more than 45000 you will have to enter the red channel. So if you want to get phones please keep them in your pocket and not cabin baggage or checked in luggage. They will be scanned. Also if you have done the mistake of keeping them in checked in luggage you can look for a X mark on your bag. Usually those bags will be scanned and opened. So if your bag has an X mark, take the phone and keep in pocket. So the basic model of iPhone will not be charged duty if you just get that. The amount of single family households with 2 to 3 and sometimes even 4 or 5 families living in one house is staggering! It’s the only way families (predominantly Latino) who are landscaping/construction/labor workers can afford to live in the Silicon Valley.Drive down any street in any neighborhood in East San Jose and you’ll notice something peculiar not found in any other suburb - no parking. When you have multiple families living under the same roof, you get 3–5 cars per house. There are cars taking up every single spot along the sidewalk and people have to get creative and park cars on their lawn. It’s so bad, that people put out cones to block off parking so neighbors don’t park in their driveway!Don’t believe me? Yes, if uber just announced cash option in your city, wait till it comes for you, it'll take sometime till you get that option make sure you carry enough cash before booking a ride. The drivers normal carry change but may run out of it, make sure you're carrying some. On the sidelines, the drivers are really kind and helpful, if you don't have that little ₹1-2 then they won't ask for it. This just happened yesterday when the bill was of ₹82. I gave him ₹100 and he returned ₹20 and showed his hand indicating he doesn't want the ₹2 change. I tried to give it to him but he just drove off. Such nice drivers are really hard to find. cheers!
