What is the worst argument in the world?

This is what happened with me recently. The 4-year-old healthy computer suddenly crashes saying 'CPU fan error'. So I tell father. Father (getting annoyed): How did it happen? What did you do? Me (calmly): I didn't do anything. When I switched it on it gave me this error, which I initially ignored, it was running fine for a while then it suddenly crashed. The system shut down automatically. Father (getting more annoyed): How can it shut down automatically? Why did you ignore the error in first place? What did you do with the computer last time? You say you didn't do anything, I hardly use the computer now, your mother doesn't use it, your brother doesn't give a shit about it,  then WHO DID IT? Me (trying to calm myself): I don't know. I didn't do anything. I don't even use it since I got my laptop. YOU used it a couple of days back for some work. Besides, it's 4 years old and never have we once given it for servicing. The CPU fan must have gone kaput. Father (judging me): What do you mean you don't know? You mean when things get old they falter? We should throw away? That means you will have this approach towards us too? Is this why I raised you? To hear this? Me (getting really annoyed and confused but trying hard not to show): Where is this conversation heading?Father (full-fledgedly accusing me for the crash): THIS.. THIS behavior of yours.. You behave this way, that's why the computer crashed. Now don't look at my face, call the maintenance guy and get it fixed. You don't know how to handle delicate things. How will you run a family?! And father storms out of the room. Me: ......??????????????????????

Alex Maroko Effective Ball Handling Program Reviews?

Hi

In my opinion the Effective Ball Handling Program by Alex Maroko is great and I found it to be very useful for me.

I really liked the membership area of the Effective Ball Handling Program where every member has access to an entire library of videos that demonstrates all the moves, drills and combinations that are taught. There are also sections that discuss the warm up aspects of the game and how it is necessary to do so to prevent injury. Another section in the program is discusses how to maximize in season and off season training in order to get the most benefits out of them and I personally found this section to be very useful for me. Finally, there is one section catered to the development of a female basketball player and is filled with tips that are extremely useful for females (that's what my sister says...)

Another thing that I really liked about The Effective Ball Handling program is that this program changes weekly and covering all the areas of ball-handling training with advancements to keep you challenged while all the time making sure you are improving. You will never get bored or reach a plateau with this program.

So far, it is definitely one of the most foolproof and effective basketball training systems that I have found on the Internet and with the 60 days money back guarantee that Alex Maroko offers for his customers I think that it may be a good idea to check the Effective Ball Handling program before wasting a lot of money on more expensive and less effective programs.

You can also use the link below to get about 30% discount for the full Effective Ball Handling program including the 60 days money back guarantee.

Hope it helps and good luck!

I am asking you physicists, how did Jimi Hendrix play guitar the way he did?

I think we all know how he played the way he did - the mechanics behind what he did were novel and sometimes surprisingly simple. There’s a reason so many people learn how to play Purple Haze and Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) and so many of his other songs. There are a handful of more technically challenging songs (Little Wing and Castles Made Of Sand stand out), but they’re still very accessible. And I think that’s part of the draw - his playing was very accessible to almost everybody. You can hear traditional blues and rhythm and blues all over his playing. His time with the Isley Brothers and in similar acts really shaped his playing over the long term. His use of things like Emaj -> Esus -> Emaj chords, or the occasional 2nd thrown in, or many of his other tricks, were great throwbacks to those earlier years.I think a lot of it was a lack of fearlessness - he was very comfortable trying new things and seeing what would happen. You see that with a lot of the “greats”. Miles Davis’ Kind Of Blue is an excellent example of that in action. He took a leap on an idea and made an album that was, in my opinion, decades ahead of its time. Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Texas Flood came out in the early 80’s after having done work for David Bowie - a time when that kind of music wasn’t really all that popular.Hendrix (and his manager) also understood that the stage show is a different experience than the recording. Few people talk about The Who’s performance at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival - and with good reason. Hendrix literally lit his guitar on fire. His stage shows were loud and visually interesting - they were an experience. These kinds of questions kill me, because his playing was often sloppy, guitars out of tune, lyrics maybe a little far out there, but the cohesive thing that was Jimi Hendrix is what made him interesting. Check out Robin Trower’s Bridge Of Sighs for another guitarist from that era that sounds strikingly similar in a lot of ways, but he didn’t have that full package. The Quicksilver Messenger Service is another great example. At the end of the day, there’s no definitive answer to a question like this - and maybe that’s part of what keeps us coming back. We all get something different out of his body of work. Maybe that’s the enduring appeal.

What are the favorite books of prolific readers, i.e., folks who have read 500+ books?

I suppose that I count as a profilic reader since I figure that I've read close to 1,000 books on my 27 years on this planet. (That's not even counting my re-reads.)Despite the fact that I read a lot, I have specific tastes. I like books with a strong plot and characterization. "Prosey" books that focus on the beauty of the English language bore me to tears. Give me guns, explosivees and conflict any day. Still, my tastes may seem a bit electic, but I promise you, they all have, at minimum, a cool plot/concept or characters. My favorites are:One Hundred Years of Solitude (Gabriel Garcia Marquez): yes, Love in the Time of Cholera is easier to read, but this was my first Garcia Marquez book and I fell in love right away. You know what they say about first loves.Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (Haruki Murakami): I'd read many Murakami books before this one, but this one was my favorite. I loved the concept and the prose. Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen): pitch-perfect characterization and a great plot. Austen showcases her skill at romance here. There's a reason why Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy live on as one of the best literary love matches. Barney's Version (Mordecai Richler): this one really got under my skin. I'm still in awe with Richler's skill at making such a big asshole sympathetic. Barney is someone that you love to hate--a racist, bad father,  bad husband, the works--but you still feel for Barney. A Wrinkle in Time (Madeleine L'Engle): this book came along at just the right time. Not only did I love the story and the message, but Meg Murry resonated with my 10-year-old bespectacled self with the bowl cut (hey, my mom cut my hair until I was 13).The Time Traveler's Wife (Audrey Neffenberger): maybe I'm a huge mush-ball, but I thought this story of a strange, difficult, yet touching love story was beautiful. I still think about it even though I read it almost 10 years ago.The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (Junot Diaz): I went to a book reading by Junot Diaz in college and I ran out to buy a copy. It's a great, fresh book told in a great, fresh way. How can you not sympathize with poor Oscar? As you can see, I have a soft spot for underdogs. i kind of feel like I'm choosing which one of my children is my favorite. There are so many more books out there that I love, but If I must, I'll say that these are my favorites.

What song best described best friends that can't be lovers?

Once very good friends, then something between them changes, the girl like the guy first, w/o the guy knowing it, but when the guy falls for the girl, he uses another girl to try to make his best friend jealous, hoping she will confess...but the best friend still keep quiet coz she don't think this is the right way...now the guy got all disappointed and starts to keep a distance from his best friend, but the best friend knew he's still hurting, a lot, and she's hurting too. Are there any songs that can describe a love that's meant to be together, now both is hurting and longing to speak to each other but they can't, yet the song still have a positive ending, ie. maybe one day the timing would be right etc? Thx!
