Hi I Am Doing A Media Course And I Need Ideas

GCSE MEDIA EXAM HELP.?

I did a similar AQA media exam last year on reality TV. Have you looked at any past papers? The questions, although obviously on a different topic, are generally very similar every year. There always seem to be a couple of questions on the topic in general, in your case action films, and then there's one on your basic concept and then a creative one. Try and look over other papers and, if in doubt, ask your teacher for last minute advice.
Also, don't make the mistake of spending ages on the creative part of the exam. Heck, I drew stick men and I still managed to get an A*! It's all about your concept and the codes and conventions you use.
Finally, try and keep an open mind, and whatever you do, don't panic! You've got quite a long time to complete the questions so just take some time to think over your answers.
Hope I was of some help ^_^

Redoing A levels..Im 22 help...?

Hi guys, Im about to graduate from university with a degree in media and cultural studies probably with a 2.1 but I've read in a lot of places that there simply aren't any jobs in this sector. To be honest, I took this degree for my own benefit since I liked studying media, sociology and anthropology etc.

But right now Im stumped, The univerisity I went to is pretty crap in itself and I've been told my everybody that this degree wont get me a good job.

Thats why Im considering redoing some A levels to get into a better uni, and do either English lit/English language or politics maybe even law.

:Edit I've considered doing a GLP but it seems too hard, without going through the whole course at university.

Heres my Gcses and A levels they're pretty much crap but thats why I want a more "traditional" degree at uni.

Gcses
Double Science: DD
Maths: D
English lit C
English lang C
Turkish A
Media Studies C
Business Studies E
Ict D

Btect First media - M/M/M/M/D

A levels + Btec national certificate

Btec national certificate media : M/M
English Lit AS/ D
English lit A level / D

Any ideas? my plan was to get a job save up a bit of money and fund some night school to do my A levels for a year then go to uni again by applying for a student loan. Please some postive ideas would be greatly appreciated I've decided to work my *** off to study from now on I really want a decent degree

Thanks in advance :)

What are the career options after doing a BMM?

There are a lot of careers you can choose after doing BMM. I’ll try to explain as much in layman terms as possible. Some of the most conventional options after BMM are to either choose journalism or advertising. In journalism there are many subcategories like crime journalism, travel, fashion, etc. Blogging too comes under journalism. You could work for newspapers as well as magazines. Advertising too has many subcategories. You could work as a copywriter, you could make illustrations or work under planning and scheming the advertising plans for various brands and customers.Other than these two, some people opt for doing MBA after BMM and that will get you into marketing sector for MNCs. Or you could do their PR. You could do fashion designing or fashion communication after BMM and that could lead to a job working for big designer labels.I am currently doing my BMM and I run a fashion blog (www.glossandglaze.co.in) which I plan to carry on with even after my graduation. My personal plans are to do MBA after this so I could get a good job working for some fashion magazine while I continue to work on my blog. This could also be an option for you. If there is some subject you are very passionate about, find out some magazines or some mass media platforms that solely work on that subject and try and work for them. Hope this was helpful. All the best!

I am in Content writing since five years. I am very much interested in learning Social Media Marketing. I have no Idea where to start from. Can someone guide me on the same?

hi, for my art coursework, i need to look at the theme of 'everyday objects' and produce a brainstorm, can someone please give me some ideas or inspirations ??

so far, i have thought about how different professions uses different objects e.g a artist's everyday objects will be paintbrushes; how people's everyday objects changes through time e.g. now in modern society, people uses mobile, ipods, keyboards a lot.

oh, and it will be really good if someone can suggest a few good artists relevant to this theme for me.
