Hi I Am Looking To See 15- 30 Is A 2 1 Ratio

A boy has a 5 rupees coin, 2 rupees coin, and 1 rupee coin in ratio of 3:4:5. If he has an amount of ₹224, how many 1 rupee coins does he have?

Given that a boy has 5 rupee coins , 2 rupee coins and 1 rupee coins.Let the number of 5 rupee coins be x , and number of 2 rupee coins be y and number of 1 rupee coins be z.Total amount is 224 rupees.Hence, 5x + 2y + 1z = 224Now our aim is to find the values of x , y , z such that the above equation satisfies.Given that , the 5 rupee coins , 2 rupee coins and 1 rupee coins are in the ratio of 3 : 4 : 5Hence x is a multiple of 3 , y is a multiple of 4 and z is a multiple of 5Therefore , x = 3a , y = 4a , z = 5a , where a is any natural number.Substitute the values of x , y and z in our first equation.5x + 2y + 1z = 2245(3a) + 2(4a) + 1(5a) = 22415a + 8a + 5a = 22428a = 224a = 8Our aim is to find the number of 1 rupee coins.Number of 1 rupee coins as per our above theory is 1z. we know that z = 5a. We also know that a = 8.So number of 1 rupee coins is := z= 5a= 5(8)= 40If you found out any errors in the above solution, please let me know.Thank you.

CPR ratios for adults, children, and infants?

It did change. its 30-2 for adults. Kids and infants are the same I think. An AED will analyze on its own after doing 2-3 rounds of CPR for a shockable rhythm, if your using a defibrillator then you should recognize a shockable rhythm..V tach etc. They also changed laymans CPR to eliminate the modified jaw thrust even with possible or obvious head or neck injury...Stupid but whatever, and they eliminated the abdominal thrust too for some reason. Not in CPR for the professional healthcare provider, just the laymans

The perimeter of a triangle is 37cm and the ratio between the length of it’s altitudes is 6:5:4. How can we get the length of all the sides of the triangle?

Hi,In a triangle, area = (1/2) x base x heightOR for the same triangle, the height or altitude is inversely proportional to the side or base it is perpendicular to.Thus, if ratio of altitudes is 6:5:4,the ratio of the bases will be (1/6):(1/5)/(1/4) [inverse variation]Taking the LCM of the numbers in the denominator i.e. 60, we multiply throughout by 60 and get :-(1/6) x 60 : (1/5) x 60 : (1/4) x 60=> 10:12:15 which is the ratio of the sides.Thus, the sides will be 10x,12x and 15x.Perimeter = (10x + 12x + 15x) = 37x which is given as 37 in the question.OR 37x = 37cmOr x = 1 cm.Thus, the sides will be 10(1),12(1) and 15(1) = 10cm,12cm and 15 cm.Hope this helps! :)

In a bag, there are coins of 25 p, 10 p and 5 p in the ratio of 1 : 2 : 3. If there is 30 rupees in all, how many 5 p coins are there?

1 Rupee = 100 paise30Rs = 3000 paise25p : 10p : 5p = 1 : 2 : 325*X + 10*2X + 5*3X = 300060X = 3000X = 5025*50 = 125010*2*50 = 10005*3*50 = 750sum of 1250,1000,750 is 3000. Just to verification750 is the number of paise which we got adding all the 5 paise coinsso number of 5 paise coins = 750/5 = 150 coins.

How do I calculate the 1:1:2 ratio of concrete cement, including sand, aggregates, and water for M25 concrete?

Hi….For more simplification Let's taking One example…you get clear idea about how to calculate concrete quantityEx.Calculate concrete quantity with all ingredients of M25 for volume100 cubicft ?Ans..M25 i.e ratio 1:2:4…(sum 1+2+4= 7 …)Wet volume=100 cuftDry volume= 1.54* 100= 154cuft.(1.54 is dry volume coefficient)Cement qty.=( 1/7 )× (154) =22cuft22÷ 1.25 =17.6 approx = 18 bag( 1.25 is volume of cement bag)Sand qty. =(2/7) × (154)= 44 cuftAggregate qty. = (4/7) × (154)=88 cuftWater qty.=( for 1 bag cement50kg )0.45 × 50= 22.5 lit/kg18 bag cement= 18 × 22.5 =405 litHope.. this ans helpful to youThanks

A cup contains milk and water in the ratio 3:1. How much mixture should be taken out and water added to make the ratio 1:1?

A milkman would know this drill irrespective of his accuracy with ratios and numbers :-pWell, Jokes apart!Lets assume the total quantity of mixture to be 100mlwater - 25 ml, milk - 75 ml (original ratio of 1:3)Proportion in target mixture of 100mlwater - 50 ml, milk - 50 mlThe mixture is homogenous, so any reduction will not change the original ratio. We aim to reduce the milk to 50 ml. Therefore we need to reduce the milk by 25 ml. When the milk in the given mixture is reduced by 25 ml, water reduces by original ratio 1/3*25=8.33 mltotal reduction = 33.33mlafter reduction water = 16.67 ml, milk = 50 mlnow add replace the reduced amount of mixture with equal amount of water you will getwater = 50 ml, milk = 50 mlNow see what happens when you reduce by halfTotal quantity of mixture reduces from 100 ml to 50 ml and using the original ratio principlewater - 12.5 ml, milk - 37.5 ml and now if you replace the reduced amount with water you will end up withwater - 62.5 ml, milk -37.5 mlNow see what happens when you reduce by quarter i.e. 1/4Total quantity of mixture reduces from 100 ml to 75 ml and using the original ratio principlewater - 18.75 ml, milk - 56.25 ml and now if you replace the reduced amount with water you will end up withwater - 43.75 ml, milk -56.25 mlSo now you know what is the most important part of mixture related puzzles…

Look at this sequence: 80, 10, 70, 15, 60, ... What number should come next?

Any number can come next. To get a pattern of any series, 3 number at least must be present. The answer otherwise will have ambiguity.By taking difference of the terms -70,+60,-55,+45. And then taking their difference; 10,5,10,5. which will form the next term in the first differentiated series -40. Which in turn form the next term of the main series 20It can very well be 10,15,20,25, an AP of cd 5Or,It can be broken into 2 series; 80,70,60 and 10,15,20 as an AP of cd 5Or, It can be broken into 2 series; 80,70,60 and 10,15,22.5, 33.75, a GP of common ratio 1.5.The first answer can be taken as most accurate, as it uses all the terms of the series. But if we break-up the series, both 2 & 3 is true as of conforming a series to have a particular pattern, at-least 3 numbers must be present

The father's age is 4 times the age of his son’s now. 10 years ago, the father was 10 times as old as his son. What is the present age of the father?

While solving these kind of algebric equation problems be sure you have good imagination skills to figure out what steps to take while solving.First let's look at the solution:Let the present age of son be xThen father's present age is 4xNow,According to question,That is 10 years ago,4x- 10 = 10 (x- 10)4x -10=10x-100100–10=10x-4x90=6xx=90/6x=15therefore,Father=4x=4*15=60 years old………………………………….…………………Explanation in detail:In the first line of the question we see that the question is talking about present ages therefore to start this one off we need simple algebra.Suppose that the sons age was x . Therefore fathers age would be 4 times sons age that's 4x.In the second phase it talks about past or simply 10 years before the present time,Here we need to make an idea that when we are talking about past our ages will be less than the present time.So,to get the age for past we need to subtract 10 years form present age in this scenario.Fathers age would be 4x-10 and son's age would be x-10.Third step,We now that to get the answer we need to equate things right? So as indicated in the question in past that's 10 years before the father was 10 times older then his son.So its simple4x-10= 10 *(x-10)And then we can easily get the solution.Thanks for reading!!!!
