Hi Is There A Pgce That Can Be Neutral

How could a neutral wire in a box become hot from another circuit?

I was doing some bathroom remodeling, where I had to remove the existing 2-gang box and replace with a 4-gang for some additional lighting and a GFI outlet. I turned the power off for the bathroom, and checked with a voltage tester to verify that everything was dead, and it was. That is, until I took all the wiring apart in order to remove the box. When I took apart the neutral connection (there were 4 wires in the wirenut), I got shocked by one of them, and the voltage tester verified that it indeed had power. I could only deactivate it by turning off a different breaker that had nothing to do with the bathroom circuit.

After putting the new box and wires in place, I turned on the other breaker again and verified that the one neutral wire was still live. I turned it off, connected everything up, then turned it back on. Everything seemed OK then, because I got no voltage reading on the neutral. I finished all the other connections and turned on the bathroom breaker, and everything works with no trouble.

But how could one of the neutral wires suddenly become live after it has been disconnected from the other neutral wires, then work properly after all neutrals are reconnected? Could there be something that a previous homeowner did, where he mistakenly connected all the neutrals together in a box containing two different circuits? These circuits are on opposite legs, by the way.

Counterpoint: Switzerland. Switzerland stayed neutral in both World Wars, even when being surrounded by 2 different alliances, and still did not ‘lose’ anything. Here’s a map during World War 2 , showing Switzerland’s resilience in neutrality:Want to hear the kicker? Switzerland traded with BOTH sides during World War 2!So, Even with the Axis Powers surrounding them, the Swiss smuggled out money and war goods, in exchange for smuggled in gold. How? The Swiss, ever creative thinkers, used Diplomatic Bags for smuggling. By International law, even back then, you could not under ANY circumstances open the bag, unless it was addressed to you from your or another country.a diplomatic bag.Hitler wanted Switzerland, but he couldn’t take it. Switzerland was ready for war and to defend itself, and it had mountainous terrain and armed civilians as major advantages. Instead, both sides began trading with Switzerland, using the Swiss Franc as the standard currency. With all the trade and economic gain, I think Switzerland won more than anyone else during the war.So, No, it is not true that neutral people always lose.

Mac - I like their pressed powder compacts. Also eyeshadow. (most of everything they make is great)
NARS - BLUSH! If you get anything NARS, you should at least get some blush. They are famous for it. Right now, I have it in "Orgasm" which is a shimmery peach (I think it may be the most popular shade). Their lipstick is good too.
Urban Decay - 24/7 eyeliner. The BEST eyeliner in the world! Also have a good collection of eyeshadow colors. I love to get the Book of Shadows and their eyeliner sets, although those can be a little pricey. I've heard their Lush Lash mascara is good but never tried it myself. Urban Decay Potion Primer is one of the best eyeshadow primers out there.
Stila - I love their eyeshadows. Kitten is one of my favorite eyeshadows ever. It's a metallic champagne.

Weird advanced electrical question?

Hi There,
The buzzing sound is usually caused by the lugs not being tight enough.
Aluminum wire expands when it heats up under load and when the load decreases the wire cools and the wire "shrinks" enough to become loose. The magnetic field generated by the current flow can cause the buzzing sound.
You can check the lugs using a non contact thermometer and find out if any of them are warmer that the others (or cooler). I would check all terminals and circuit breakers in the box while I had the thermometer.
I would shut off the feed and carefully inspect all three cables that feed the load center.
Usually aluminum wires terminate in a spring loaded terminal for this reason.
Hope this gives you some "leads" to check.

as long as you have the clutch in the car wont stall... for stoping at a stop sign you just put in the clutch put into neutral and you can release the clutch and it wont stall. if the car is in neutral no matter at what speed you can release the clutch. on thing to make sure of is that you push the clutch in all the way( SOMETIMES IT FEELS LIKE IT WONT GO ANY FARTHER BUT IT REALLY WILL AND THATS HOW SOME BEGINNERS STALL THE CAR AND NOT KNOW WHY ). for the break... you can brake at any time clutch in or out, in gear or in nuetral... YOU CAN ALL WAYS HIT THE BRAKE.

Not in the Southern United States! There, “guy/guys” is still considered a male usage, reserved for addressing a strictly male audience in an informal setting. Using it towards or in reference to a mixed or all-female group will get the speaker some strange looks in return.
