Hi My Iranian Because His Job Requires Email Service From This Company But Unfortunately I Might

In persian, how would I compose this letter?

I answered this correctly in your previous post.

What are the characteristics of a Persian/Iranian man?

I've been close with this Persian guy I met last October. We're not really dating but we seem to have shared mutual feelings towards each other. Unfortunately he's gone back to Iran and we're communicating by means of email and chat which is not that reliable. I'd like to get to know him better. I don't mean to generalise but are there any characteristics that Persian/Iranian guys have in common?
Any opinios would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Modern Paganism: Materialistic or Spiritualistic?

For those of us who truly practice a polytheistic rich religion being a "pagan" is very spiritual. I follow the path I follow because my patron saved my life. I pray to my gods and the spirits and I look to my ancestors for guidance it is for me very spiritual. I'm not wealthy and barring winning the lottery I probably never will be. That said I am a very rich man, I have a beautiful wife, a house full of love, and a connection to my gods.

Unfortunately I can see where someone looking at "pagans" from the outside could see it as materialistic. Companies have made fortunes selling "pagan" books that are full of, half truths, and out right lies. People clamming to be witches and pagan charge exorbitant amounts of money to teach others how to be witches or pagans. They often teach them little or nothing in return. Others set up shops to tell fortunes, or sell others pagan ritual items at fees far higher than necessary. And then there is the jewelry, bumper stickers and other “show the world I'm a pagan” paraphernalia. I can see how the person who sent you the message could believe as he says he does.

However, if you look on the net and the world you would find that pagans are not the only ones that use their professed faith to make a buck. It can be found in almost every religion. But as with paganism it does not truly represent the body of true believers and followers.

I was a pagan before being a pagan was popular. It is a very spiritual path to those that open their minds and hearts to it.

Why are Indian girls usually categorized as ugly?

Let me begin by saying that yeah I am an insecure Indian teen whose come across many internet forum posts (reliable sources of course :P) stating that Indian girls tend to be the least attractive with their body hair, prominent features, and "smell of curry - (untrue![: I don't eat that much curry!)" I'm probably biased considering the majority of my friends are Indian (dislike!) due to my location (not India!), but I have to disagree. When walking the streets we don't smell like a pack of curry lovers. I have been "checked out" by guys of other races -- so why the stereotype? Or is it not a stereotype? I also heard that Black people dislike Indian people because we're constantly looking for ways to "lighten our skin." I hope that's not true. Well first of because I love dark skin -- wish I was darker. There aren't really that many Black people where I live (this really depresses me, like REALLY TRULY LEGITLY. -- legitly isn't a word :( ), so I'm not really sure what to think. I personally love that culture and think they can be amazingly gorgeous -- I hope it's mutual! I'm so confused!

Is it too late to reinvent myself at 58? I retired 5 years ago. I got my master’s from an Ivy League university 2 years ago. I have been having difficulty getting a job.

You have gotten great advice from a number of Quora respondents. It is never too late to activate or re-activate your career. Please don’t make the mistake of prioritizing your degree subject. Prioritize your skills that you may have acquired since getting your degree. If your aim is employment, you must find out what it is that your potential employer needs and demonstrate how you can fulfill that need. If you are in a field that requires updating your knowledge or credentials (health sciences, technology are two areas that require constant re-education) then enroll in courses that will help you. You can also attend graduate school as a “special student.” As a non-degree-seeking student you will pay tuition, but you can enroll in courses that will refresh and update your skills. This is a way of renewing your credentials. You may also think about doing something entirely different from your educational training. Starting your own business, non-profit, service agency is challenging, but many have done it, and given the unfortunate ageist tendencies in employment this may be your best route—being your own boss. There are courses and support groups for people thinking about doing this. At least explore them. The formula for success in any field is simple to say, harder to execute, but it is:FIND A NEED AND FILL IT!Good Luck!

I want to convert to Islam but I don't speak Arabic. Can I pray in English?

Not at all :) I converted about 2 years ago, and I only know a handful of phrases in Arabic... when I pray or make du'a, I do so in English. I'm pretty sure God speaks all languages ;)

If you ever, ever, ever have any questions about your conversion (or religion in general) - you can email me.
