HELP HELP HELPP!!! ASAP!! PLEASEE!! Repsonse to Lit... Grade7!!!?

---> don't talk about how you just read it... A remarkable story that I have just read is called “Those Three Wishes” bye Judith Gorog. This short story is about an -->(normal maybe? or is this something significant?) average girl named Melinda Alice. As she meets a magical snail, she learns one of the most important lessons in her life, ---> why is this here? try and lead in more Car**eful what you wish for, you never know what’s going to come true!

Melinda Alice wasn’t very nice. In fact she was cruel, but clever. Melinda was a “natural leader”. Her cleverness contributed to a big part of her “leader” characteristic. <---- why is this here? doesn't flow with next part She was in the eighth grade when she met the magical snail. The snail granted Melinda three wishes. She had big wishes that were good for the society and everyone but accidently, she wished she was dead. <--- how did this happen.. what became of this?

At first I thought Melinda was very snobby and bratty but after reading that she wanted things that were good for everybody, I felt bad for misunderstanding her. She was actually a good person. I could understand why Melinda was so snobby. Her father really cared about her grades and Melinda probably was under a lot of pressure. I have a lot of friends whose parents are very strict about their grades. My parents are too! Therefore I am very familiar with situations like that.

I think the theme of this story is one: always be kind and generous; and two: always be careful of what you wish for because you never know what may come true. Melinda definately learns this lesson and it is very important. *** ( * Please help me expand on this )

----> use different transition word Nevertheless the story “Those Three Wishes”, written by Judith Gorog is a wonderful story. Explaining how an average teenage girl realizes to be careful of what she wishes for. Even though Melinda Alice died at the end of the story, through out the whole story, Melinda Alice changes from a bitter, selfish girl to a wonderful young lady.

this is good.. some of it doesn't flow.. maybe try and expand more on how melinda learned her lesson? or why do you think she was still punished in the end? you could try adding more on those.. otherwise good job!

Are capital letters a part of grammar, punctuation or something else?

Where does capitalizing the first letter of certain words (more specifically at the start of new sentences) fall under? Is it grammar, punctuation, spelling or something completely different?

My understanding has always been that grammar is a very broad area that encompasses all of those aspects, but recently somebody challenged me and now I need to know for sure.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Can someone edit my writings when I need help?

Editing. There are several types. Depending on where you are in your work, you may need different ones.Higher level editing can consist of content, structural, and looking for plot holes. This is generally not expensive and can be done quickly.More intensive editing, line/copy editing is generally the more expensive type, but the one that is less subjective. There are a few tools that you can use. Grammar/spellcheck are useful, as well as tools like editminion.com. These can point out weak spots in your writing that you can address and correct before engaging an objective third party editor, as you should always do. The more you fix before you send it off, the quicker the turnaround and the lower the cost.Other layers of editing you may want to utilize are critique groups, beta readers, and text to speech applications. Each of these will expose different issues, such as craft, logic, and dialogue problems. When dealing with different editing filters, consider all suggestions, and weigh your options. Other writers may be biased toward a certain writing style. Beta readers may expecting a particular literary formula. Editminion will nitpick at dialogue. Fix errors, but stay true to your character's voices, and your own author's voice.Finish a draft, let it rest a month, and dive back into it.Good luck!
