Hi There Help With Plugs/tapers

Help with lost plugs?

Hi, I'm at 2g and one of my plugs just feel out and I can't find it. I put in the taper to keep the size and ordered a new set online. I know how bad tapers are for your ears so what can i wear while waiting for my new ones to come in the mail? Will the taper be okay? I thought about sizing down since i have several 4g plugs but i really don't want to have to stretch up again.

Smallest ear plugs size?

Hi :D

So, I'm only at 14g for my ears (I know, lame...) ANYWAY...I was wondering what the smallest size of plugs or tunnels I can get for them because I can't really be arsed having a taper in everyday, all day.

I'M NOT ASKING FOR THE EAR STRETCHING SIZES, I;M ASKING FOR THE SAMLLEST PLUG SIZE!!! hehe xx thanks

2g to 0g won't go! Help!?

Hi there!
So I've been doing good about stretching at a slow rate so that my ears stay clean and good looking. I just recently tried to do the big jump from a 2g to a 0g. The taper went through fine, but once I tried to get the tunnel through, it would not come through the other side of my ear hole. Since the taper went through with little pain, how can I not get the 0g tunnels in? Help please!

How do you insert double flared plugs (size 2 gage)?

There are a few things you can do to help get the piercings in. One thing is to take a hot shower, put some jojoba or tea tree oil on your lobes and gently try to ease the plug in. Try putting the jewelry in from both the front and back, sometimes one can be easier than the other. This particular approach works well on very healed lobes that have a high elasticity.

If you still cannot get them in by doing that, you may have to buy a taper and stretch up a size to get the jewelry in. Another approach to this is to use a 2g taper with a layer or two of teflon/PTFE tape to give a little more room and insert the taper, followed with the jewelry (add layers of tape as needed, but don't force the taper if it has too much. This is usually a better choice to avoid tearing your ear.

With either method, if there is extreme pain, redness or irritation, you should stop your attempts and put in your old jewelry. Give your ears a day to recover and try again. Its good that you didn't force the plug in :-) Most people learn that lesson the hard way.

You can also go to your local professional piercer to have them help you. Any reputable piercer should be able to help you insert your jewelry for a small cost.

Oh...and just remember that for as hard as it is to get the plugs in, it can be just as hard (if not harder) getting them out. So use caution both ways.

Left ear bleeding from 14g plugs few days after what should i do?

Person above me is wrong; stretching should never be painful and there should never be blood. Blood is a sign of tearing. If there wasn't much blood, then I wouldn't worry to much. But the more you tear, the more scar tissue that'll build up and the more difficult stretching will become. + It makes your chances of your ears closing less likely. And stop cleaning it with the alcohol, it is way too harsh. Stick with sea salt soaks or antibacterial soap. Are you using a lubricant for the stretching, as well? Dry stretching is much more difficult and is just straight up uncomfortable. Buy an oil or water based lubricant, nothing jelly like Vaseline as it traps moisture and bacteria within.

Remember to wait a minimum of 4 weeks before stretching to a 12g.

Help/suggestions sizing up from 2g to 0g?

Hi, I began stretching my ears in September 2012. By February/March 2013 I was up to a size 2g. I've been at a 2g ever since then and now it's June 2014 (no ****). I recently decided that I would like to size up one last time to a 0g and many forums/sites have said it should be something most are capable of doing although it is a 2mm stretch, the largest stretch if you do it correctly. I've never skipped sizes and I've waited weeks/months between size ups in my past. I've never had a problem with tapers, however, when I try to put in my 0g tapers I can get them a little more than halfway through before it starts hurting. I've attempted putting them in multiple times, each after a shower, massaging with oil afterwards and then lubing up my ear and the taper. Once I get halfway in, the taper literally won't budge and I'm not about to push it and end up with a blow out. Anyone have any tips/suggestions for me? Should I just try to slowly stick it through(not preferred) or is there another method?

How do Subutex users abuse it?

Let me count the ways…. someone else listed them. In my hillbilly state people sell them for $50 a piece. Snorting them is the most common way, but the powder clogs up the nose (and leaves the inside of the nose looking like raw hamburger) and it's not the full dose. I USED to snort anything I could find that resembled pill residue. I'm sure some of it was drywall dust but I didn't care back then…

What happens if we connect a DC supply to a capacitor?

Charging a capacitor is very simple. A capacitor is charged by connecting it to a DC voltage source. This may be a battery or a DC power supply. Once the capacitor is connected to the DC voltage source, it will charge up to the voltage that the DC voltage source is outputting. So,if a capacitor is connected to a 9-volt battery, it will charge up to 9 volts. If a capacitor is connected to a DC power supplyoutputting 15 volts, it will charge up to 15 volts. All that has to be done is for the positive side of the DC voltage source to beconnectedto the positive side of the capacitor, the longer lead, and the negative side of the DC voltage source be connected to the negative side of the capacitor, the shorter lead. Below is the circuit of how a capacitor is charged:In this case, the capacitor charges up to 9 volts, since it's connected to a 9-volt battery. Many of the times while charging a capacitor, a resistor is used in series with the capacitor and voltage source to decrease the amount of current that flows through the capacitor, so that the capacitor isn't damaged. This is usually recommended. Note: Only charge a capacitor to or below its specified voltage rating. Charging a capacitor to a voltage beyond its voltage rating can destroy the capacitor. To find more information about a capacitor's voltage rating, check outWhat Does the Voltage Rating On a Capacitor Mean?.We have just demonstrated how to charge a capacitor but we haven't done anything useful with the charged capacitor.Click on How to Use a Charged Capacitorto Light an LED to learnhow to do useful things with a charged capacitor.
