High school math help??????????????????

Twenty-one questions are 19 questions too many to answer.
I suggest that you keep your questions down to 1 or 2 per query.

But I'll help you with the last question:

... C = (5/9) (F-32)
or (F-32) = (9/5) C
or F= (9/5) C + 32

or F= (9/5) (8) + 32
or F= 46.4°

High School math help?

Today, we got a math worksheet. It is all about using Inductive Reasoning to solve problems. I can't seem to figure out three of them and was wondering if any of you could. The patterns are:
18, 46, 94, 63, 52, 61, ____
O, T, T, F, F, S, S, E, N, ____
4, 8, 61, 221, 244, 884, ____

and if you could, can you check to see if this problem is right? (the slashes represent the fractions)
1, 3/2, 9/4, 27/8
For the missing number, i got 243/64

Highschool math, will you help?

you know already that, say for example, sin (⅓ π) = sin (60°) = (√3)/2

So, using the arc-function, or inverse function, we can reverse that... figure out the angle from a ratio:
arcsin [ (√3)/2 ] = 60° = ⅓ π

Thats all we are doing here...
if sin θ = -0.5005 then
arcsin (-0.5005) = ?

Put it in the calculator... an arc-function, or inverse function, is the sin with the -1 exoponent on it, on the calculator.
arcsin (-0.5005) = -30.033°... just larger than -π/6 radians

Highschool math question help please?

Ive been working on these problems for the last 3 days and im still unsure of my answer. Please guys help me!! I will give you 10 points in return just for willing to help me out. Thanks Guys!

A jar contains five blue marbles, six red marbles, and four green marbles. Three marbles are drawn from this jar, and replaced back into the jar after they are drawn. What is the probability you will draw two red marbles and a green marble?

A)161/375
B)14/375
C)16/375
D)21/375

Two balls are to be pulled from a vase that contains 7 red balls, 9 green balls, and 2 black balls. After the first ball is drawn, it is not replaced. What is the probability that two red balls are chosen from the vase?

A)49/51
B)7/54
C)7/18
D)7/51

A sample of 20 children had 4 children with hazel eyes. If there are 750 children in a school, how many should have hazel eyes?

Elementary school math help?

You guys I just can't do math. I can debate Harvard and Yale PhDs in history but be crushed by high school math students. This math should be outlawed it has no practical purpose for people who do not become astronomers or snipers or jet fighters. Anyway, here is the "elementary" problem by your standards... I cannot understand any of it:

-4-7x+3+9x=-9

Highschool math question help please?

First:
Probability of one out of 13 heart cards being drawn out of a deck of 52 cards is 13/52 = 1/4
Probability of the coin toss result being tails out of heads and tails = 1/2
Probability of both happening is 1/4 * 1/2 = 1/8 = 0.125
D)0.125

Second:
Probability of first parakeet being green is 12/(25+12+10) = 12/47
Probability of second being one out of 11 green parakeets left, from a total of 46 parakeets left = 11/46
Probability of both being green = 12/47 * 11/46 = 0.0610545
D)0.0611

Third:
The third seems to be a question of unitary method, but the answer by that method comes out as 35.4, which may indicate C)36 as the answer but I am not sure. If that answer is correct, here is how you do it.
Cars with grey interiors in a sample of 100 = 59
Cars with grey interiors in a hypothetical sample of 1 car = 59/100
Cars with grey interiors in a sample of 60 = 59/100 * 60 = 35.4

Please help with high school math problem!!?

The speed going was plane's speed + wind's speed = 1740/6

The speed going back was plane's speed - wind's speed = 570/3

so (r+w) = 1740/6
(r-w) = 570/3

or, multiplying to rempve the fractions,
6(r + w) = 1740
3(r - w) = 570

**************************************...
To solve:
1740/6 = 290, and 570/3 = 190. Thats a diference of 100 km an hour, half going and half coming, so the differenc is 50 mph. The wind's speed is 50 kmph

That makes the plane's speed
290 - 50 = 240, or 190 + 50 = 240. Same answer either way.

If you need an equation,

x + y = 290
x - y = 190

2x = 480
x = 240 (plane's speed)
then substitue that back in to either equation and get
y = 50 (wind's speed)

Hope that helps, and good luck!

Where can I get help with some high school mathematics, physics and chemistry problems from a teacher or a specialist?

Khan Academy is great for asking for help and for practice problems. Crash Course on YouTube has some great videos on physics and chemistry. Also Quora is great for asking detailed questions. It's helped me understand things that have confused me. You can also just Google whatever it is you're having trouble with, there are many great resources that we might never have heard of.And why not try asking your actual teachers for help? Teachers are really nice. They're there to help.
