How do I Uninstall SafeFinder Search Bar?
So I was just skimming through the download manger for Camstudio (a screen recorder that my friend had recommended me) when all of a sudden the usual ads come up that ask you if you wanted to install other junk too popped up, Me being the smart one I unchecked it to prevent it from spamming and slowing down my computer then continued skipping other things. After the download was completed a search engine named SafeFinder Search Bar By Linkury popped up as a new installed application. That was when things got suspicious, My Chrome Browser closed all of a sudden and the next thing I know my Chrome Icon on my Taskbar turns into some Blue Magnifying glass. Seeing this I was confused and did some research finding out that it was a adware browser hijacker and so I attempted to remove it by going to the control panel and uninstalling it manually however it just wouldn't go through and stops at Please wait while windows configures with SafeFinder Search Bar never loading. I then repeat the removal multiple times only having it to stop at the same place again. Finally I go to my Chrome extensions to see if I could do anything there but SafeFinder Search Bar doesn't show up anywhere nor at my search engine selecting menu
