Home Remedy To Grow Edges Of My African American Hair.

How to grow African American hair fast ?

So I'm a black girl and I've found it really hard to grow our hair. Every other race seems to have nice silky hair that grows alot except us. Is there any natural ways to make my hair longer, and possibly softer ? I know It's almost impossible to make our hair softer without a perm, but I'm sure there is something out there ? I really want to grow my hair fast. Any tips ?

P.S.my hair is about shoulder length, I'm transitioning out of the relaxers/perms.

How to grow out my edges & hair! HELP?

My best advice to you is:
-moisturize. Use oils like coconut oil, castoral oil, olive oil
-WATER. Drink lots of water and hydrate your body
-baby your hair. Comb softly and greese your scalp
-shampoo. When you wash your hair, try and only apply shampoo to your roots. Shampoo cleans your hair and can suck out all the natural oils in your hair. When you rinse your hair the shampoo will clean the rest without sucking the juices out.
-deep condition. When your done washing leave your conditioner in for 20mins or more so it can get as much moisture as you can.
-vitamins. A good vitamin is biatin. Its a hair, skin, and nail vitamin. It gives you that extra nutrients your body doesnt make. It also cost under $10 at walmart.
-treaments-one treatment i love is egg and manyas. Yes it sounds grose but it gives your hair more protein. Our hair is made up of proteins so adding a little can make it stronger.
-research. Do some homework on hair and see how it works. So you know exactly what your hair and body needs

Keep this up and you will find results. Also be very pacient and results dont come right away. Let your hair get healthy. Let your body get healthy. Trust me at some point your going to want to give up and try something new, but trust me the wait is worth it.
Good luck

How do you make your baby hair at the edge of your hairline grow thicker?

HiThank you for your A2A.Ginger root stimulates circulation to the hair follicles, promoting hair renewal. There are many different remedies to achieve this, its a matter of finding one that suits. Neem oil, coconut oil also play a role in hair Regrowth. However healthy eating with a sufficient intake of vitamins B12, zinc, iron and copper are a certanty.Oysters, chicken pork and beef along with chickpeas, onion, garlic, tomatoes are only a few off the list. Take 1 tbsp ginger root. Grate it into a small bowl. Now add 1 tbsp of olive oil or jojoba oil to it and mix it well. Massage on your scalp using this mixture in circular motion.  Rub it with your finger tips for 5 minutes. Leave it on your hair for minimum of 30 minutes. You will start to feel the warmth. Now wash it off with a shampoo. Don’t use conditioner just after rinsing it.

I am 15 I need help on growing my edges back and getting my hair healthy.?

Hello,
I had the same exact problem, but I was able to fix it and can help you too! For starters, you should buy Mane n' Tail shampoo and conditioner. They cost around $5 each at any drugstore, last a long time, and help your hair grow long, thick, and shiny. Another thing to help with your hair growth is to buy Biotin (hair & nail growth pills). Biotin costs around $3 and you can get it at Target or probably any drugstore; it helps your hair grow faster and makes it more healthy. Another thing is STOP CUTTING YOUR HAIR! I know people always say "trim the split ends", but really, just don't get your hair cut for about six months and it should have grown a ton. Around six months you can go in to get a small trim (or do it yourself at home) just to cut off the ends. Also when your hair is wet, rub a little bit of olive oil (found in your kitchen) in to your hair to make it shiny and healthy so it can grow! Other than that, be sure to be eating healthy, exercising, drinking lots of water, and DO NOT use a heat on your hair- that will stop your hair from growing! Hope that helped. :)
