Why cant i accept the fact that i am in love with a cartoon? anyone remember avatar: the last airbender? last episode was 2007, I was about 9 then, now im 14. and remember that character ty-lee? well I saw a episode with my lil sis and I forgot about ty-lee, and her beauty. since then(1month)) ive grown this enormous crush on ty-lee, ive looked up photos of her, I bought episodes just to see her, and I cant stop thinking about her, IK im not crazy but this has never happened. 1. is this **** normal? 2. has anyone went through this too? BTW im a guy, last time I posted this someones said it was female hormones and I was like "wtf" shes justso beautiful, her athleticism, her braided long hair, i could go on, and honestly i swear to god ive never felt this way for a girl like i feel for ty lee, IK shes not real and ill never kiss her, hug her, love her. yet i wont let go. and its been about 6months!!!!! i started in janurary,shes just so beautiful, by the way, ive had a friend draw a huge picture of her, its in my binder. i even had a dream i kissed her and it felt real, and i had a dream i had a baby girl with her named ava and i just cant stop thinking aboout her, what u think, but i just am so in love with her. shes perfect, i know if she was real wed be happy together. I've asked this question so many times and i realizedwhy! Idk what i wanted, i want to know what to doi narrowed my options down to two. 1) get over her and try to find a real gf(which i always fail at) 2) caller deeper in my obsession/love, someone plz tell me the pros and cons of each, cause honestly idk. and now i see why i keep asking this question, i cant accept myself, iam in love with her, but its still a little depressing considering how im always single and ppl bring me down, like my "friend" adam, what a d*ck. dont wwanna talk about it, anyways its still depressing and idk what to do now, i wanna love ty lee but idk if i can do thi anymore

I'm legitimately in love with a cartoon character. What is wrong with me?
I'm not saying this jokingly. I'm honestly in love with Prince Zuko, from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I have constant fantasies about him, I watch scenes of him all day long, and whenever I see him kissing his girlfriend in the series my heart drops. A few days ago at a family get together, I was watching Avatar on my aunt's TV with my two year old cousin. Then my judgmental 16 year old cousin and her best friend walked over. I asked them if they thought Zuko was hot, and my cousin responded with "He's a friggin' cartoon character. Besides, his scar makes him look like a dalmatian." I got SO upset after she said that. It was as if she said that about my actually boyfriend. So I pretty much flipped out and now she they think I'm a freak. Before you say anything, I'm AWARE he's 100% fictional and I'm aware there is no way I could ever be with him. But I'm still obsessed and in love with him. I mean, this isn't normal at all... what's wrong with me? Am I just a lunatic?
