Hong Kong Hotels Not Accepting 2 Kids And 2 Adults

Traveling with dog- leave her in car while sleeping in hotel?

We will be taking a drive in the near future and will need to stay overnight as it is such a long drive (and we have 2 small children). The area we plan on staying has only 3 hotels (or should I say, motels) that allow pets and they are all like $40/night shabby looking places with horrible reviews on cleanliness from hotels.com. My husband suggested we just sneak our dog in since she is so well behaved. I said no because if they find out they will prob charge more or kick us out and anyway it would be pretty difficult to sneak in a 70 lb dog! Also, that is not fair to others staying in that room after us if they are allergic or what not.
Anyway, back to the question: do you think it would be alright if we just left her in our SUV overnight while we slept? We won't be getting to the hotel until late and leaving right after breakfast, so she wouldn't be in there long and it wouldn't be very warm out yet. We could even leave the back windows cracked. Is this ok, do you think?
Thanks!

Why are there so many single females in Hong Kong?

Ah. An answer I can sink my teeth into...So yes there are a lot of single women in Hong Kong. Why?1. Hong Kong women are generally well educated, affluent, and demand the same or better from their prospective partners. In other words, they are picky. There is even a slang term in Hong Kong for these stereotypically hard to please women who have "princess sickness" 公主病.  They want a knight in shining armor, expensive handbags, and to be catered to hand and foot. See Carlos Douh's hilarious explanation:2. Hong Kong men have realized that the mainland offers the better partners from their perspective. On the mainland they can have their pick of younger, prettier (HK girls have a reputation for being less physically attractive than mainlanders), less demanding partners. So a lot of successful HK men have either taken up mainland girlfriends or have mistresses there.Personal anecdote: I was talking with a HK friend who explained to me how a lot of his female HK friends were complaining about there not being any single HK men. He was saying that they expected that a "good" HK man be willing to pay for all of her expenses. I asked whether these women actually held jobs. "Oh yes they have jobs. But they think that any money they make they should be able to spend on themselves however they want. Everything else is the man's responsibility."HK is the the world's capital of capitalism. So in this way of thinking it makes sense both parties are trying to get the best possible deal. It just so happens that HK men have realized their earning power and social value is better on the mainland market. Social arbitrage. The article below pretty much agrees. In addition it says HK women now are also looking to the mainland for better "deals":Leftover women in Hong Kong to look for Mr. Right in mainland China

Is it legal for an 18 year old to stay in a hotel with a minor?

Some hotel rooms require everyone that is sleeping in it to sign a form...meaning you also have to be 18+ (or with a parent or guardian)
Some hotel rooms don't require that...so it all depends on the hotel and their policys and not the law!

You should call up a hotel first and ask them if it is ok, to make things a little easier!

Or you could always just pay for a room yourself, and don't tell the hotel...but you could get in a bit of trouble if found out.

Anyway...no, it's not illegal to have a minor stay with you, it all depends on the hotel!

Are there hotels in New York where 16 year olds can stay without adults?

An adult 21+ will have to fax a form saying they will be liable for you.
You may have better luck getting a hostel instead of a hotel if no guardian.

You see, at 16, you can disavow any agreement hotel.
Here is what is posted on the Holiday Inn website.

"Must be 18 to check-in or 17 with hotel minor consent form."

Will i be charged for accidental hotel porn?

I am currently staying in a hotel and whilst flicking through the channels on the television the porn channels were there. As soon as i saw it i switched it off as i don't want to be charged. Will they charge me if i flicked on for half a second?

A quick google search suggested that they were just previews therefore i won't be charged, how can i tell?

p.s. my boss is paying for the room, i don't want her to see a charge for porn.
