What does it mean to dream about lions in your backyard?

You can understand your backyard as your unconscious side.Lions are symbolic of emotions and affects including instinctuality and sexuality. Lions are also symbolic of power, your power. Many of the same image in a dream speaks to some degree of anxiety and uncertainty regarding what lions are symbolic of.If this fits your circumstances then you are uncertain about your personal power including the other symbolic aspects the lion represents. It's in your best interest to reflect on this, for the lion within you wants to have a life through you by your embracing these aspects and expressing them in your life.Best wishes.

Why is Los Angeles disliked by so many people?

I think it's a combination of two factors:1. It's not a tourist-friendly city. Because L.A. lacks a decent public transportation system (though it's getting better) and has a shortage of major landmarks, it can be a confusing and off-putting city for newcomers to navigate. If you're visiting for more than a few days, you'll need a car, and inevitably, because of our sprawl and population density, you'll get lost and/or stuck in traffic. The first couple times I visited L.A., I was unimpressed. It seemed like an endless expanse of strip malls (which is actually sorta true). It was only after I had spent a solid week here, with natives as my tour guides, that I began to discover L.A.'s nicer neighborhoods (Venice, Los Feliz, Larchmont, to name just a few), and to see the city's sprawl as an attractive feature, not a detriment. I still love that you can live here your entire life and never be able to explore every nook and cranny of the city.2. There's an entire industry of people who are basically living here against their will. Because there's a widespread perception in the film and TV industries that you *have* to move to L.A. to have a career, we have a high concentration of East Coast and Midwest transplants who arrive already resenting this place. These people bitch about L.A.'s admitted drawbacks (the traffic, the sprawl, the "fake" Hollywood crowd) incessantly while making zero effort to find anything to like about it. The New York City transplants are the worst offenders. You'd think good bagels and bars that stay open until 4 a.m. are the only things in life that matter. More TV shows shoot on the East Coast than in L.A. now, so I'm not sure why they don't just move back to their astronomical rents and crappy weather. But as a former Northeast U.S. resident myself, I know many folks from that part of the world aren't happy unless they have something to complain about. So I think on some deep level, they love living in L.A. just so they can gripe about it.For the record: Although L.A. can certainly be off-putting at first, if you take the time to get the lay of the land, it's a fantastic city, for all the reasons other folks have already stated. We have world-class food, an abundance of culture, a thriving creative class, near-perfect weather, diverse topography and scenery...and, in my experience, people are much nicer here than they are back east. But to find all of that, you do need a good tour guide.

Good Morning America! We were just wondering if you realize how lucky we are! Will you remember these names?

It's stirring to see them all listed by name, age, and (former) residence instead of simply a number. I think too often the NUMBERS are all that matter, and too many forget that those numbers--whether from the 9/11 attacks or the "body count" from Iraq--are people with hopes, dreams, and familes just like us.
Thank you ThorGirl (x2--how'd you do that anyway?)... God Bless America, her people, and her mighty military!

Information relating to precognitive dreams?

Hello - I have precognitive dreams frequently. I'm searching for information which is reliable or credible.

If you have any websites or books that relate to precognitive dreams then I'd really appreciate an answer in that direction.

If you have personal experiences or an explanation of precognitive dreams based on your first hand experience it'd be a good answer too.

Do you have any websites which would help me in my information gathering exercise?

Good songs not many people know about?

I wanna add some to my ipod :)
I like: r&b, relaxing songs, hip hop, jazzy.
I don't like: songs on the radio (too overplayed!), alternative, hard rock, extreme gangster rap, screamo.
I'm picky with: techno, rock.

I want some that not many people know because I don't like hearing songs I like unless I want to listen to it. You know? Sorry if that's confusing. Haha.

To give you a better idea of what I like, here's some song examples:
Who am I to Say-Hope
Fireflies-Owl City
The Prayer-Kid Cudi
You'll Find a Way remix-Santogold
Pretty Girl-Sugarcult

Thanks in advance :)
