Why won't Safari, let me go to Hotmail?

I've had my mac for like two weeks, and it has never let me go to hotmail. It bothers me, because I've been using my hotmail address for like ever!

When it loads hotmail, Hotmail says

Windows Live ID is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons:
This site may be experiencing a problem.
The site may not be a member of Windows Live ID.

I type in www.hotmail.com

ARGH! This is frustrating!!!

If you block someone on Hotmail and they later send you an email, do they get a notification telling them they have been blocked?

If you block someone on Hotmail, it’s called blacklisting them, and no: they will never know they’ve been blacklisted.Mail YOU designate “blacklist” never will reach you at all. Unlike “whitelist” mail, which will bypass all spam, and land safely into your INBOX, blacklisted mail will not even hit your SPAM account.Designating any e-mail account “blacklisted” is telling your e-mail host: “You know what? This e-mail is WORSE than SPAM. Consider it Ebola. I don’t even want it in my SPAM account.”You won’t ever even get near it, and since these processes are automated, and webmail servers and those who run them are WAY too busy to send alerts for these? No one will take a nanosecond’s time to tell the e-mail account who’s been designated too awful and contagious:“Hey: this person hates you more than SPAM. Have a nice day.”They MAY wonder why you’re ignoring them, of course, if they aren’t a SPAM bot, and if they’re desperately in love with you, this MAY be a good time for you to buy stock in Ben & Jerry’s…But if you’re concerned about the awkward situation of receiving an e-mail from yet ANOTHER account, saying “Hey, (tearful emoticon here) why’d ya block me on Hotmail? Was it all the OTHER tearful e-mails? Be honest!” …. be assured they will only be GUESSING.You may feel completely free either to ignore the new, pathetic e-mail, as the Casanova or Mata Hari that you are, or lie, like the 007-license-to-lie I now guarantee you have, either:“This user no longer at this address,” or “I’m sure I don’t know what you mean; I don’t even know HOW to block anyone…”Then go ahead and block the new e-mail, and so on, and so on.Still, I reassure you: unlike Twitter, or Facebook, where once blocked or unFriended, it’s obvious to a user they’ve been shunned, Hotmail (and also Yahoo) does NOT alert any blacklisted user they’ve been blacklisted.FYI: My sources for this are:Web Developer’s NotesPC MechHotmail(So you know I really checked this out for you.):::Here also is a link, if you want to block this person from Gmail (and everywhere else). There are helpful screen shots, and links at the bottom to just about every social media outlet.www.laptopmag.com/articles/block-someone-gmail

Why won't my yahoo comment section load?

Meredith, I am having the same problem on Yahoo after I made several negative comments about the presidential election. I don't know if I am intentionally being blocked from commenting on articles. There is no way anybody can get a direct answer from Yahoo. They send users to their community forum which is a joke. There is no technical support contact information on Yahoo page. Perhaps someone else will answer our question. I can't comment but I see others commenting on articles. Either there is a server issue that is impacting certain users or Yahoo is blocking some users from assessing comment section. I don't know!

My computer will not turn on.?

I was turning my computer off one day and when it would not turn off, I held the power switch and it turned on and off real quick. Now when I turn it back on, it will turn off when it hits the Windows Vista loading screen, like right when it gets to it, it does not restart just shuts off and it is annoying. People are saying its the PSU which I doubt it because when I hit F2 or F10 to go to those menus when I first start my computer, the computer stays running perfectly until it try to boot it in safe mode or boot it normal mode.

This happened to me before when a friend messed my computer up and I found my old installation disk for vista and put it in and it worked perfectly, but now when I try to put the disk in, it shuts off when it tries to load up.

When all that happens, my computer will not even turn on when I hit the power switch, it only turns on after I unplug the computer, open the case, close the case, then plug it back in, but when I turn it off, it shuts off at the loading screen and then wont turn on again until I unplug it all again, this sucks.

I tried re-seating the CMOS battery or whatever its called, someone said it might work, but it did not. My computer does the same thing over and over.

Please email me at kryptichellsing@hotmail.com
or give a reasonable answer here or something. Thanks.

Help! blue screen of death while using internet explorer - hotmail won't load?

Hi,

I've been having problems with my Sony Vaio VPCCW16FG. It's only 6 months old, but recently I've been getting the Blue Screen of Death on it - recently as in the last two weeks. The first time, it did it twice in one day. AND after each time, it refused to load hotmail. So far I haven't found anything else it refuses to load, but I am usually on a proxy server for my university. This makes me suspect the screen is being caused somehow by Internet Explorer, as I am always running this programme when it happens. I've tried virus scanning my hard drive and portables. The scan found a conficker on one of my portables that it couldn't remove, but it's come up clean on the hard drive, and the portable was not plugged in the most recent time this happened.

Hotmail just won't load. It gets to 'Sign in' and then... Nothing. Only the little yellow ERROR thing in the bottom left corner.

The first few times this happened, I read somewhere online that I should clear all my browser history. This solved the problem.

Not yesterday. Yesterday clearing that did NOTHING. I did a system restore and everything went back to being hunky dory.

Except that it's done it again today. I can't keep using system restore on my computer every day just to get into my email! Wtf should I do?

Thanks, your advice much appreciated.
