How to get larger gifs on permalink page in tumblr?
I am trying to find a way to make gif on my permalink page appear larger than their native resolutions. Here's an example: My page: http://aneffortinhappiness.tumblr.com/post/60595310274 Another page: http://whispsofinvisibleme.tumblr.com/post/60485580776 In the second link, the gif appears larger. I don't know how to do that by editing the html of my theme using the customize option. I have tried asking people on tumblr and have received no response. I have tried changing the photo resolution to HighRes and the video resolution to 500 which I believe are the upper limits. Regardless, any change in the photo and video attributes only changes the size of the photos and videos, and not the gifs. Another thing that occurs to me is that this option might not be available on the free themes? Is that the case? Thanks
Tumblr Gifs Are Frozen?
I think it's cuz you're trying to upload them in the photo section. If you upload it through the photo section it'll treat it as a still photo. You should upload your gifs to a site like photobucket or something (you can put them on private if you don't want anyone to see them) and copy the given HTML code. Go to the Text Post on tumblr, click the HTML button to the far right of the tool bar and past your HTML. Then the gif will come up moving. If you want to upload a still photo you can do that too in the Text Post.
